Arthur and Kaine followed him as he led the way. They saw various treasure on the way. Some had dazzling halo around them while some didn't. Some had intense heat, some were cold. The size and shape of these items were also different.
"Look Arthur, they have rainbow soul stone. It's even two of them." Kaine exclaimed in astonishment.
Arthur also looked towards where he pointed and used [appraisal] skill. With the skill activated he could see a status Window beside the rainbow soul stone .

Arthur found out it's usage from the details showed in status bar. This is a soul class ability enhancement item. This lesser rainbow soul stone is a inferior version. It has more superior version like greater rainbow soul stone, super rainbow soul stone. These are more upgraded version.
Soul class item comes in various different kinds. Some are soul class weapon, some are soul enhancement resources. All soul related ability users need soul class treasure. Without a strong soul one can't use or create attack of powerful soul class ability. But that doesn't mean those who don't use soul class ability have no use for it. On the contrary, they have more use to users of other class ability. If the soul is not strong than there is chance of dying due to soul type attack.
As soul type attack bypasses any physical and magical barrier, it's very hard to defend, but not impossible. One only needs to have a stronger soul so that soul doesn't get affected by the attack and has strong resistance.
Although lesser rainbow soul stone is a inferior version of the soul class ability enhancement item. It's very valuable because of the scarcity of soul class treasure. They kept on exploring and found many treasure. They didn't buy them though because not everything was suitable for them. Some even contained high risk factor.

It was really inconspicuous and rusty looking.
Arthur stopped in his way and inspected it thoroughly. But he was bound to be disappointed. He didn't find anything looking at it. At least not using his eyes and ordinary probing.
Maris who saw Arthur was fiddling with this medallion, approached him smiling wryly.
"Young master Arthur, this medallion is a prank by the manager of this establishment."
"A prank?" Kaine asked from the side confusedly, Arthur was feeling the same as her.
"YEA"
"The manager found this medallion from a powerful inheritance left behind by an expert. But this medallion is not what he expected. After many experiments he only found one use of this medallion which is not very good."
"What use?" Arthur asked curiously.
"This medallion can only absorb warrior or magic energy of any mage or warrior experts."
"What? if it can deplete the energy of my opponents in a fight by absorbing energy, then that is great method. Why would you say that it is a prank?"Kane spoke.
"If it worked like miss Kaine said then it won't be rotting in this place. Obviously, this thing has a major defect. It doesn't suck out energy of the opponents but the user. Once user starts injecting his or her magic or warrior energy, this medallion keeps sucking the energy. This thing is like a bottomless pit. No matter how much energy you feed it, this thing cannot be filled." Maris gave an explanation to both.
