"I will do things for her, take over her burdens, protect her, and make her happy." Arthur was caught unaware by Mariko's sudden question. Without much time to think, he hurriedly blurted out a bunch of nonsensical stuff.
Mariko could not help but laugh at his insane replies. At this moment she felt that Arthur had a really pure heart. She felt that he would be a good husband to his future wife.
"Okay, we should not be digressing so far from our main topic. Young master Arthur is the most elusive person in this domain, commoners like us rarely get to see your shadow so what wind blew you towards my humble settlement?"
"Ah, that if you ask me without any sincerity, then I can't tell you, can I?" Arthur tried to play hard to get.
"Oh! So how should I show my sincerity to young master Arthur. Can you elaborate that for this stupid woman?" Mariko also played along with Arthur according to his script without complain.
"Hmm.., what will be a good thing to show sincerity? Ah, found it. Well, I won't make it hard for you. Just give me a nice and warm hug." Arthur said that with a pure smile that looked harmless and innocent like that of a newborn baby.
In the end, Mariko furrowed her brows as she considered, and eventually accepted the offer. Stalking forward like a tigress after her prey, she hugged Arthur. Arthur sat there mutely, dumbstruck by her actions. Her actions caused the not so experienced Arthur to float on cloud nine, as his mind blanked out.
"So feels good?" Mariko whispered in Arthur's ear in the instant she hugged him.
That charming and magnetic voice, gently brushed past his ear. Arthur could feel himself blushing as his ears went red. This type of feeling was incomparably refreshing and new. After the initial awkwardness, Arthur quickly recovered, and only joy remained.
"Yeah, so very good!" Arthur replied, and initiated the hug this time around just as Mariko was retreating, while a nefarious fire burned in his lower region.
Shock suffused the features of Mariko as she gasped. Never did she think that Arthur would be so daring. Although Arthur was 10 years younger, he was still already considered a man. However, in that embrace of his, Mariko did not show any signs of anger or rejection.
When observing Mariko at such a close distance, Arthur was in awe. Her beauty was capable of stirring the souls of men. Looking at her delicate face, and limpid eyes akin to the beauty of valuable gemstones, Mariko appeared like a celestial being flying in the skies. Her elegance was beyond comparison as Arthur continued to hug harder.
"Pfft, have you hugged enough?" Mariko gently patted Arthur's back as she lightly said.
"Not enough, even if I could hug you for a lifetime, it would never be enough!" Arthur continued hugging as he nestled his face in Mariko's neck.
"You smelly brat, who knew your mouth is so sweet? However, you are not allowed to take advantage of me like this in the future. Hmph, you little naughty egg." Mariko gently replied, but made no moves to free herself from the embrace.
When they finished eating their meal, a waitress came and took the dishes away. It was time for Mariko to leave.
"Let's go, follow me." Mariko pulled Arthur by his hand as they descended the stairs.
Arthur took his time, admiring that elegant and graceful figure of Mariko. With her walking in front, he could take his time to enjoy admiring the light trembling of her shapely bottom as she descended down the stairs.
Entranced by that vision, Arthur did not realize that Mariko had stopped and turned around to face him. Lost in a daze, Arthur continued moving, and suddenly "bump", the blissful sound of something ascending to the Nine Heavens rang out. Arthur had accidentally pressed his face, right into the plentiful bust of Mariko. In that instant, Arthur felt like he was floating. The feeling of that softness as well as the well-toned elasticity of the muscles, coupled with a sense of mind-numbing fragrance, stole his soul away. This left him in an overwhelmed state of ecstasy.
Time momentarily seemed to stop, as Arthur unconsciously lingered in that awkward position, his hands automatically extended out and held Mariko by her waist. Unintentionally, Arthur seemed to have lost all sense of conscious thought as his instincts took over. Gently, he began rubbing his nose and lips on the area of contact, mesmerised by the fragrance. He lamented the fact that a thin piece of smooth silky fabric was blocking him from ascending to the heavens.
"Hey, you smelly brat, that's enough!" Mariko cried out frantically in a panic, momentarily shocked out of her wits with a slight hint of anger clouding her tone.
Arthur, stunned, embarrassedly removed his hands as he gradually inclined his head. Only to see a pair of ruddy red lips pursed in displeasure. Hints of cold anger could be seen from her eyes.
"How beautiful" the thought was fleeting as it crossed Arthur's mind before he recovered. He managed to stammer out "ummm it's n…not my fault, you suddenly paused, so I bumped into you. It was an accident!" Arthur rubbed his nose as he avoided the eyes of Mariko.
After a while, the fiery countenance of Mariko visibly softened. Who could manage to stay angry for long when Arthur acted so adorable.
Mariko speechlessly looked at Arthur, and could not help thinking, "Is this spoiled young master destined to be my bane? Even though he is younger than me, he could already be considered an adult. If it was some other guy who did that to me, I would have instantly crippled him…"
Mariko could not help slightly blushing at Arthur's actions. There was even a moment of unexplainable climatic excitement at the earlier contact.
Pausing to steady herself, Mariko said somewhat abashedly "Let's go, if you dare do that again, I'm going to castrate you."
Arthur, with his brilliant acting immediately assumed a submissive posture, and replied with puppy eyes, "No can do, I still want to get married and have kids in the future, so I still need my holy sword."
"Enough, let's go. You only know how to take advantage of me. Still acting pure? Hmph, you must think that this lady's eyes have gone blind. Your acting is not bad, but not good enough. I'm going to ignore you from now on." The words of Mariko left Arthur flabbergasted. Even though it was true that he is normally a lusty guy, he truly had no control about what happened earlier!
