Elena made a funny face in reply to my words.
"Haha.. "
I smiled wryly at the girls.
I don't know what to do anymore. Elena turned out stronger than everyone here.
But everything is over now. We can finally leave this place.
"So it's really over now, huh"
"Yes, let's go. Don't want to wait for wild magical beasts to attack now.", Elena hurried all of us.
Then they all went on the road together. Elena and Lumia walked ahead while Arthur walked in the middle of the group with one arm around Lena's shoulders and the other around her waist like a loving couple. Lena didn't wake up till now.
Arthur asked if they couldn't use horses. Lumia said that ordinary horses were easy targets for magical beasts like wolves... And stronger horses were costly, so neither she nor the girls had them. They used carriage to move around for this reason.
They came back to the place where the fight with the bandits initially took place. They came here to ride back in the carriage. Arthur took the responsibility to drive the carriage as he is the only man here.
It's his first time driving a carriage so it isn't smooth ride at all. Elena and Lumia complained a lot but they could only adjust with Arthur's bad driving.
They followed the simple road, which passed through what appeared to be a simple tropical forest. Arthur could see small animals among the trees and hear magical beasts at long distance.
So they talked about many things. The girls told a lot about them and where they came from, but Lumia was more mysterious as if she was afraid to tell everything. Arthur didn't press this cute elf girl, as he already felt a lot of affection for her.
They said that they are from a merchant family in Trafford but they have businesses in other city too. They are trying to expand their business here and abroad but they have too many competitors that makes their efforts less fruitful. They are mostly doing business in transport and security sector which is going through a very difficult time, due to full scale wars and conflicts between kingdom.
Wars are not good for their line of business so Elena proposed to slowly change and expand their line of work while maintaining their current connection channels with other city's.
But her elder brother doesn't agree with her and tries to hinder her efforts in every possible way.
This family feuds between siblings were intensified by outside people who are waiting to take advantage of this situation. But her foolish brother fell for this simple trap and wants to endanger their whole business.
Today's assassination attempt must be planned by one of the people behind Elena's brother. At least, that's what Elena thinks.

When Elena and Arthur's group were away from the ambush point, some time later two people came at that place.
"Looks like a fight happened here just like planned. ", said the first person.
"I can see a lot of corpses but none of them look like female body.", replied the other one.
"Let's search this whole area quickly "
"Ok, let's go our separate ways and come back here in twenty minutes. "
When they separated, second person found the place where Elena killed Ramon and assassin leader.
"What the hell happened here??"
Exclaimed the second person who came to investigate the results of ambush. He was clearly surprised at this brutal death of Ramon and assassin.
"Nobody should have been able to kill these two guys in their group so how did they die?"
"I must report this matter urgently. Something must have happened out of our calculations otherwise it's a perfect plan with no drawback. "
The second person returned to the ambush point and met up with the other guy who already arrived there first.
"Did you find anything?", asked the first person anxiously as soon as the second person arrived.
"Our people, all dead.", said the second person with a grievous tone.
"What do you mean all dead?"
"Just what you heard. Our assassins failed to do the job and the traitor is dead too. They were killed brutally. "
"Sssss...."
First guy took a deep breath as he absorbed the information. He didn't doubt the second guy as he knew him very well and if he said they died brutally, then it must be so. So he didn't argue much and decided to leave the place.
"Ok,let's go. We have to report this immediately. "
Then they left this place together.

Arthur had no idea that their enemy already sent someone to investigate their situations even after sending reinforcements to deal with them.
They are lucky that they got away from that place quickly otherwise they might have met with those two guy's.
Arthur's group didn't take the usual road this time because they were afraid that they will face another ambush in the road. So they travelled in a longer route but that was relatively safe. But it takes more time to reach their destination.
As it was already night, the group concluded that camping would be better. So they chose a good spot near a stream in the forest beside the road. Arthur went to look for firewood for the girls to make a fire pit and cook.
Far from where Arthur's group was preparing camp, where the road was no longer in the middle of a forest, but in open fields, two young men were running desperately without slowing down or looking back.
The young men ran at the maximum as they could for hours and avoided all the beasts that appeared. Since the magical beasts near the road are not very strong, most adventurers only fought against them to loot leather and other body parts.
They also used these fights as training to improve their skills, but as the young men are only two, it was easy to avoid most of the dangers.
These two young men are both elves. They are brothers and they belonged to Elena's team. Actually, they are adventurer who were hired by Elena by posting a request in the guild. When the bandits attacked, they ran first before everyone. After leaving Elena and team when bandits appeared, they fled as quickly as they could and did not even realize that Elena killed the bandits and even their reinforcement.
They wanted to impress the girls so much, that's why they took this escort mission, how could they not want beauties like Elena and Lumia? But the fear of dying by the hands of scary bandits was too much for them.
Bandits and adventurers had a lot of conflicts in this land as both forces wanted to uproot each other from the city, so the elven brothers did not doubt that the bandits would kill them.
