I heard the sound of someone screaming behind so I looked back. I saw the warrior bandit whom I knocked out before attacked Lena. He caught Lena off-guard by sneaking up on her. Then, he stabbed Lena in the heart from behind. Lena clutched her chest painfully and got away from the bandit warrior.
The bandit who stabbed Lena had a nasty smile on his face. He had a lot of hatred for lena due to Lena burning his face at first.
Seeing the bandits smug face, my heart burned in so much anger that I lost all my rationality. I began fighting like a wounded tiger with no regard for safety. I cut mine sword towards Lena quickly and caught her in my arms.
Her wound was very deep and she was bleeding too much blood. The stab wound must have damaged her heart to some extent. I was panicking very much seeing Lena bleed so much blood. My head was at a loss what to do.
I had Lena in my arms and now I had three bandits surrounding me. If I don't do something quickly then Lena will be in danger. I thought about using my TIME FREEZE skill. But that might not be enough to kill all the bandits here. I thought what I can do. I asked system if there's anything to stop her from bleeding to death. Apsu said that I can buy a healing potion [perfect heal] and let her drink it. That will do the job. I was concerned if that will work as I am afraid that the stab might have seriously injured Lena's heart. But I didn't have much option here as I was running out of time quickly. Lena's face was turning pale very quickly. I am willing to try everything I can do to save Lena at this moment.
I bought the healing potion quickly from system. It cost me 200L.P but I didn't care about it at the moment. Lena's life is more important to me than some points . I took out the potion from my pocket so nobody can see that the potion actually came out of nowhere.
The potion looked red in colour. Normally, healing potions looks green in this world. But I didn't mind it. So,I tried to pour the potion down her mouth when Lena caught my hand. She looked at me in pain and tried to say something.
"I am not worthy of your kindness, Arthur. You met me for a day only so why are you doing so much for me, Arthur?"
I was confused by Lena's word. First, she called me by my name. second, she suddenly had a cold and mature voice that wasn't matching her age. Third, where is this talk of being unworthy came from? She didn't do anything wrong the day she stayed here with me.
I was really confused by her words. But this wasn't the time to think about her words. I wanted Lena to quickly drink the potion.
"Lena, don't talk now. Drink the potion and it will heal you."
Lena shakes her head weakly.
"no, it won't. this was my last heart that got destroyed. No healing potion can revive it."
"last heart…..what do you mean,Lena?"

Lena's revelation shocked me to my core. Lena is a Devil-kind. She lied to me from the start and I believed her.

"yes, are you disappointed?"
"no, I am just sad that you are the first devil-women I met and got tricked by your charm."

But she was acting stubborn by not drinking the potion whining about something this being her last heart or something. I was getting annoyed by her childish tantrums. She seemed to be given up on her life already. She was in pain and a lot of blood was lost but I had trust on my system. I had a believe that anything that came out of system will be miraculous. So, if my system recommended that the healing potion from system will be enough to save her, then I also have faith that it will be enough.
