Emma came out of her room and went downstairs. She put on her leather jacket and got in her Mercedes car. She drove all the way to her grandma's retirement home, Dixie's Retirement Home. "Grandma!" She shouted.
"Emma Banana!" her grandma said. It was an embarrassing name for her, but she didn't care. She was just so happy to see her 75 year old grandma. "You gotten so big! Just like your mother. You know I have some pictures of her in my room. Let me get them." her grandma said. While she went to go get the pictures out of her room, Emma spotted a boy that was her age, 16.
He was 6 foot 3. He had blond hair that curled when he twisted it. He had fancy clothes and shiny shoes. His eyes were blue and his birthmark was on his face. He was tanned and he was the most handsome guy she had ever seen.
He spotted her looking at him and walked towards her. "You know, staring is rude, even when cute girls do it, too." She blushed and covered it. "I'm sorry. You were just the only one that was young and had no wrinkles around here." she said. He laughed and touched her chin up for her to look at him.
"Hmm, your funny. What's your name, boo thang?"
"Boo thang?" she had said in her mind.
"Um, Emma. Emma Micarthy. His eyes lit up like a fire. "Cute name. The names Eli. Short for Elijah. But how about we continue this talk else where? Like my place." he said. She blushed and turned away. "How long will this conversation last?"
"Thirty minutes." he said. He had walked away. Her grandma walked towards her and said, "Ooo who's that handsome man?" She turned red and shouted, "GRANDMA!!"
