"You can put all your stuff on here," Eli said. Eli looked behind him, and caught Emma fiddling with his flowers. "Roses. Soft to the touch. Red. Represents blood of the people who have tortured us. We keep these roses to water them and forget them until they die and get thrown in the trash."
Eli mad a scared face and smiled. He tapped her on the shoulder and said, "Well, Miss Blood Rose, you have to put your stuff where it goes."
"Oh right!" She picked up her luggage and opened it. "Right after that, you can go meet my family!" he said
After she put everything in a dresser, she went downstairs. "Hello Eli's Mom," Emma greeted. "Call me Mrs. Dickinson." Emma smiled and shook her hand. Eli smiled and said, "I'm glad you two get along well."
