"Listen to me my child." Jason's voice was soft as he spoke. It was almost as if he had resigned himself to his death.
Yasmine could also feel it. No matter how she cried, or begged, her father, just like her mother, would die. "There is a lot I wish I would have told you before I die. A lot I wish we would have done together as a family before my death. But I guess this is the will of the gods." His voice cracked at the end. "Now listen to me Yasmine." He could feel it again, the feeling of his body being taken over by whatever it is that wanted to kill his children.
With the little strength he could muster inside himself, he fought it, since it had not caught him off guard like it did the first time. "I don't have a lot of time." He rolled his eyes to look at the other people who had come to his children's rescue when he wanted to kill them. "If that thing takes over my body again, you have to kill me immediately."
