"Especially when the human boy, his name was Fredwar, right? When he blew away a whole army battalion on his own. That was the best part in the whole play." Christana chattered on about the movie they had just watched.
"It was Fredvard you nitwit." Cardial admonished.
Aimero snickered. "Both of you are wrong, his name was Fredward."
Cardial and Christana flushed red and glowered at Aimero at the same time. Then, as if they had practiced it before, they said, "Same difference."
There was a small pause as they realized they had said the same thing. This time, they turned to glare at each other. "Hey!" they spoke at the same time once more. "Stop that!"
"Oooh, is this a lover's spat?" Ceeret whispered to Artin who was standing beside her.
Artin shook his head. "I guess you could call it a lover's spat. If that means that they both refuse to become the weaker one in the relationship?"
