"Good." Skylar hit her thighs, willing them to wake up, "I will go and make you a cup of chocolate. I will be waiting for you."
"Yes."
"I am hanging up now. I will see you soon."
"See you soon."
Yasmine looked down at the phone after the phone disconnected.
Skylar's words rang in her mind, and she started counting to ten and back.
Skylar looked up at the sky after disconnecting the call. Even though she had spoken all tough, she was even more scared than her sister was. After all, what were they going to do without their father?
Granted she was sure that they had enough money seeing as her father was a rich only child when he was younger. Skylar closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath. The air was crisp and cold, burning her lungs. She could hear a bird twittering somewhere to her right. How lucky that bird was. She mulled to herself, until a pair of footsteps walked up to her, before stopping right beside her.
