❤ALPHA LORCAN'S POINT OF VIEW❤
The war was at its peak. My Vaughan Pack was under attack of the rogues, it's quite often when it's come to get under attack by those shitty rouges. Being the Alpha of the deadliest pack I've been known for killing and cutting the throats of all those who came into my way of expanding my territory and power. However, those rouges still have the guts to face me only to die by my hands.
While cutting their throats I feel so exciting, it's my favorite thing to see when someone screams in fear of me more than pain.
My pack gets under attack in the morning and now it's dark. The purple and black of the night was so smoothing to take some rest under the clearance of shinning starry sky only if it weren't because of this war.
Rogues kept emerging out of the trees,
snarling and growling until they were
surrounding me. My
men fought them hard and with more force
than I could ever imagine but they were
vastly outnumbered and I could only see
this going one way.
I fought through what had become a
battlefield, defending us both from
approaching attackers. One I kicked in
the stomach so hard that he flew back
and hit a tree, his body instantly
turning limp, another I slashed across
the throat with a knife, blood spurting
everywhere.
I have spent half of my life killing and winning territories after knowing that my mate has been killed by the rouges. I couldn't but to kill all of those rouges until now.
I've been killing them for God knows how long and I smelled a mesmerizing scent. Jasmine and choco. The scent I would never forget. The scent that I spent the past ten years searching for. The scent
that kept me going this whole time.
'Mate. Go get a mate.' I heard my wolf
howl and was so close to coming out and
of course, he didn't have to tell me twice.
I immediately darted towards the forest and started sniffing for her scent.
I could feel my Beta, Harry, run after me to protect me from the attack of rouges who keep coming out of the dark.
"Alpha what's wrong?" I heard my beta
ask as he scanned the surrounding for
any danger.
"Mate," I growled loudly. I was getting anxious each second. She was here, and I
don't plan on losing her again after I
have finally found her.
"Mate? Oh my boy, finally,
congratulations." I heard his happy
voice but I couldn't care about
congratulations now, it was still
early.
My eyes were scanning everyone in the forest but no results, she wasn't there. My wolf and I grew more impatient. I sniffed for her scent again and starting walking. I was heading
towards the darker forest and I heard the crouching of the autumn leaves.
"Mate," I growled again with my wolf and
I'm sure my eyes were black now.
I follow the voice it was coming from another side of the boundary of my territory. It was the safe side, no one could pass through that side, not even rouges.
I followed the sound and saw a girl standing there and was scanning the surrounding. She was a stranger but not to me. She is my mate. The mate whom I've been searching for. The mate who I know was killed by the rouges is not standing in front of me, alive.
I was staring at her when I heard Footsteps
approached me as I stood back up
narrowly avoiding another knife.
Footsteps belonging to the rouges.
I didn't have time to process what was going on before three more footsteps came out of the forest and another knife. I ran towards my mate and pulled her to the side as the arrow pierced through the spot she was standing on. The men were coming from three different directions. I stood back to back with her as we slowly rotated,
keeping my eyes on the three terrifying-looking men. I grabbed one of the knives out of a tree and threw it straight at the closest rouge. It hit him in the center of the chest and he fell to the ground, still alive, but hardly.
I covered my mate's mouth to stop her from making any sound or she would get into danger. When I covered her mouth she struggled to get herself free from my grip. She was scratching and pulling my hand to leave her but I didn't and I dragged her back with me in my territory to hide her behind the trunk of a tree.
Soon after she stopped struggling and her movement stopped which made me panic to look at her.
Her eyes were closed. Her body was limped in my arms.
What happened to her? It took me
moments to let the scene sink into my
mind.
There she was, my mate, lying in my arms, wearing nothing but rags. One of
her cheeks were blue and her lip was
bleeding and I saw that one of her hands
was bent at a weird angle and I knew it
was broken.
Without a second thought, I ran my fingers through her hair
and pulled her between my arms. She was
bony and her skin was cold, her
heartbeat was very slow and she was
barely breathing.
I couldn't help the tears that escaped my eyes at the image of my mate. Please stay with me, please. I can't lose her, again. I just can't.
"What happened to her?" It was from Harry, my beta. He asked looking down at her but I didn't answer him.
"Put her on my back, I'll run to our territory. I'll come back after making sure she's safe and tell Taylor to distract the rouges." I told my beta through our mind link. He nodded and I shifted into my wolf and he placed her carefully on my back.
"Be careful, alpha." Came the reply from my
beta.
I wasted no time and started running out
of the packhouse. I noticed my Beta
had shifted and he's now running next to make sure
that my mate remained on my back and did
not fall.
It took us about an hour or so to reach
my father's house and with every move I
made I could hear my mate groan in pain.
It broke my heart every time, but I had
to be quick to save her.
I kicked the house door open and called
my mother who happens to be a doctor as well, through our mind link.
"Over here." I heard her saying from her room. When I reached there I saw
that she was standing next to the bed,
preparing some tools and setting a blood
the bag above it.
My parents and my Beta was presented there.
Together, they carefully carried my mate
from my back and placed her on the bed.
"What the hell happened to her?" I heard
my mother said as she looked at my mate'
s body. Her skin was so pale, and scars covered her from head to toe. Her fingernails were turning purple and she felt so cold. Her lips were also discolored and we're cracked open. It was hard to look at her without wanting to kill someone. Why would anyone hurt her? Where were her parents? Did they know about this?
My mother started working on her.
She removed all her 'clothes' if you
could call them that, and I had to
suppress the growl that was about to
escape my throat at the idea that someone was torturing her to the extent where her body is giving up.
"You should go and finish the war with routes and then you can come to stay by her side. She'll need your support to
get through this." I heard my mom say and I noticed that I'm still in my wolf form.
I hesitated. I looked at my mate's body,
then to my mother, then to her body again. I didn't want to leave her, not for a second.
My mom noticed my discomfort as she
sighted and said, "Don't worry Lorcan,
I'm right here and your father and Harry
are just outside this door. Plus, you
Ending the war won't take much time."
I nodded and made my way to my room.
I made my way back to the war area and then started slice and dice the rouges but this time with more anger.
'Will she be okay?' I heard Leo, my wolf
ask as I grabbed a rouge who was trying to jump off me.
"Yes, Leo she will be. She has to be." I
said, reassuring myself more than
reassuring him.
I finished twisting his neck and
wasted no time heading back to the
Home.
"How is she, mother?" I asked as I
opened the door and entered.
She sighed. "She's hurt pretty badly. She is underweight, has lost too much blood,
and is in terrible pain. See this." she said as she pointed to her hip on the right. There were so many bruises on her body.
"This here." she continued, is only about
two days old, but look at the color and
the size, even at normal human would
heal at least ten percent but her body is too
weak to even heal itself at least at
normal rate. I had no other choice but
to inject her with the Dezal potion."
"But will she be able to endure it? It's too strong for her, she might die.." I panicked to know that my mother has no other choice but to inject her with a magic potion which was gifted by the moon goddess to the ancestors. It works on the right quantity of how many drops some have taken, only two drops could save a life but if someone takes it in the wrong proportion, they could die because it's strong as poison. Incorrect words, my mate could die if she couldn't endure it and in her condition, I don't think she might be able to endure it.
Dezal is a very strong drug that we use only in severe cases. It helps relieve our pain almost instantly and with the help of our wolves, heal us. However, it has some side effects, as far as killing someone.
"And that's why I need your blood." I
looked at her confused and when I didn't
say anything she explained.
"As you have already noticed Lorcan, your mate is an Omega and Omega are humans, although they have there wolves they cannot shift into one. And then
the drug needs werewolf blood to work properly and hence the use of yours. And
since you're an alpha and her mate so
her body will respond better to the
drug."
What my mom told me clenched my heart. Just because my mate is an Omega she was treated so badly. In our realm when everyone can enjoy their lives, omegas are prohibited to enjoy there lives, they say it's rare to be an Omega but they are bounded to be ill-treatment by others just because they don't have there own wolf, they cannot shift into one so they are treated as slaves, although my pack doesn't follow such ridiculous rules or treat someone's life as garbage but out there, in other packs this tradition is going on.
Even in my pack, some have omega slaves but they don't treat them so badly.
I know I will be judged by other packs Alphas to have an Omega as my mate but it doesn't matter as long as she stays by my side.
Now that I think about it, yeah, she smelled human and had no traces whatsoever that she has a wolf. It's not like I care. She's my mate and I love her no matter what she is. But this thing making me worry about her more as I have heard some of the cases in my territory where Omega gets murdered by others because they smelled like humans and wolves think of them as rouges.
I jerked off these thoughts and I nodded my head and lifted my jumper's sleeve. My mate needed my blood and I'm
more than willing to give it to her.
My mother gives me a knife and I don't hesitate to cut my hand with it to give my blood to her. I parted the lips of my mate and began to let her drink my blood.
I stayed like this, looking at her as her bruises started fading. Her skin started glowing but she doesn't open her eyes.
"That's good Lorcan. We gave her a
sufficient amount of your blood, plus the other three bags I already gave her
she will heal properly." I sighted in
relief, but knew that it couldn't be
happy just yet, no with my mate still
unconscious.
I felt my mom tap me lightly on the shoulder. "Good job son, your mate will
be fine." She said with a smile on her face. I couldn't help but smile back.
"I'm taking her into my room?" I
told my mom. It would be better
if she lied on a more comfortable bed,
stayed right next to me where it can
always be with her.
"Yes, you can take her to your room but make sure you give her enough of your blood so that she will be fine soon." She said and I nodded making my way upstairs.
While I was making my way to my room I cautious as to not hurt my human mate with my tight grip. Once I reached my room where I and gently placed my mate on the bed. I covered her with a thick blanket to make sure that she slept comfortably. The thought of her on my bed made me want to howl in happiness. But I
wanted to kill every person who made her suffer in that way.
After it made sure that my mate was
comfortable, I covered her with the
With a hug and turned to my mom who was
smiling down at me.
I returned the gesture and turn said,
"Thank you, mom. I'll stay with her now.
You can go to Dad and Harry and tell them
the good news."
"Oh, I sure will." She said I sun a
laughing tone.
"And please tell, Vincent to come over here, I need to talk with him," I tell her and she went out glancing at my mate with a smile on her.
Soon after, I heard a knock on my door, "come in." I answered without asking who is it as I was sure it's Vincent, My beta.
"What's your order, Alpha?" He asked with loyalty in his eyes.
Harry is my beta but also my best friend. A friend who knows me more than anyone.
"You don't need to talk formally to me when we are alone," I said and he relaxed and nodded.
"What I'm saying from now, you need to keep it a secret from everyone, including my dad, understand," I said, sternly.
"Is everything alright?" He asked with concern as I gestured him to take a seat and he sat down beside me on the couch.
"Everything is fine, it just...."I stopped and glanced at my mate who was laying on my bed, Harry does the same, following my eyesight.
"Is it something about Luna?" He guessed and I nodded, "It's about her that's why I want you to keep it secret."I sighed and continued, "As you know when we brought her here, her body was full of bruises and she was nearly dead and I can smell that she's from Southern Pack. And taking the note of how brutally she's been beaten just because she's an Omega human, I can surely say she's from the Breaking dawn pack."
"The breaking dawn pack? The one which doesn't have An Alpha and runs under the order of The beta of that pack, Carlos?" Harry said narrowing his eyes.
"Hmm, that damn pack!" I growled, clenching my teeth in anger as soon as I remembered that damn face of that Beta, Carlos. We were not on the good terms since earlier.
"What do you want me to do then?" He asked and I turned my face to him.
"I want you to collect every information about that damn pack, which made my mate suffer so much. I want to know everything about them, especially why they don't have an Alpha and why the pack members not protesting against the idea of following the orders of a beta instead of The Alpha." I ordered him and he nodded, "I will do that." He said getting up.
"Take Taylor with you, remember, no one should know about this. If anyone asks then tell them you both are going to Spain to supervise the works of my company there because of a meeting."
"But, then, who will protect the pack if I and Taylor would go away, and you know we are facing rouges attacks?" He said, concerning the security of the pack.
"Don't worry about that, you know, Adrian and Cade can protect us with their powers, so don't worry," I assured him and he went out bowing.
**************************************
This been so many days and night
Since I found
my mate and she still haven't woken up.
Not even once.
My mother told me that it would take
time for the medicine and my blood to
kick in her body and bring her back, but
I can't wait any longer.
I've been staying next to her this whole time and only left for the bathroom or to take a shower. I even declined to see me let along coming into my room.
I can't bear the thought of leaving her
for even a second.
How I wish she would wake up and look at me with her beautiful eyes. I want to
hold her and feel her body against mine,
protect her from anyone or anything that
would try and hurt her, and make her
happy every second we're together.
I sighed and started patting her hair
and gently, twirling it around my
fingers.
I was pulled out of my thoughts with a
light tap on my door. I stood up and went to open my door and say, my mom, standing there with concern on her face.
"How is she?" She asked, obviously
concerned.
I turned and looked at my mate, sleeping in my bed the turned to my mom as I
smiled back at her. "She's improving,
but she still won't wake up." I tried not to sound broken in front of my mom but with no use. My body told her everything.
She gave me a sympathetic smile and
patted my shoulder lightly.
"Don't worry, your mate is strong,
she'll wake up when she's ready."
I looked her in the eye, took a deep
breath and nodded.
"Are you still not going to let her see or come downstairs?"
I shook my head. "No mom. What if she woke up and I wasn't there. I can't just
leave her."
"But sweetie, you have to leave your room at least once in a while, you are the Alpha of this pack; you have things to take care of. Plus, your father wants to talk to you. He says
it's important."
"About the alpha business, I can do some
work here and my dad...can't it
wait?" I asked desperately, but to my disappointment, she shook her head.
"You know how he is. You can't just
'postpone' talking to him."
She was right. My dad might seem like
the good person but he hates humans and when it
comes to business and pack related
issues, there is no fooling around.
"Okay. But mom, can you stay with her.
And if she wakes up, immediately mind
link me or something."
She nodded. "Okay."
I kissed her head and left the room
after taking another glance at my
angel.
I made my way to my father's office and knocked.
"Come in." I heard his answer from behind the door. I opened the door and
entered.
"What is it, father?." I asked as I
made my way to the couch in front of
him.
He raised his head and looked at me, a
a smile spreading across his face, which I
couldn't help but reply with a cold face since I knew what he gonna say.
He stood up and made his way to the
couch placing himself next to me.
Okay.....
I think something is up.
"So, Lorcan, how's your mate?" He asked.
"She's improving," I said, not helping
the smile that made its way to my face at the thought of her. Even my wolf,
Leo was howling in joy, but we were
both cut short from our happy moment
when my father started again.
"Uhmm....I've been wanting to talk to
you about her ever since she came."
"What about her?" I asked a bit worried.
What was wrong with my mate that my
father wanted to talk about her with
me?
"Nothing really, it's just
that.....she's......she's
different."
"Different. What do you mean she's
different dad?" And that when I realized what he was talking about. My mate is an Omega human. She can't turn into a werewolf, although she's she should be considered as a werewolf after staying with the werewolves but still, she is a human. I scoffed
and continued, "Oh, you mean because she's not a werewolf, or she is a human being who is staying here in our territory ?"
He nodded. "I'm worried about our pack.
How will she lead them besides you? She's
weak Lorcan and you need someone
stronger."
Oh no he didn't!! Now, I'm mad!
"No, dad! I don't care if she's an Omega or not. Hell, if she was the devil himself
I wouldn't mind! She's my mate and I
love her dad. I will accept no other.
And how can you say that she's weak? She is my luna!"
I snapped at him, and before he could reply I stood up and made my way to the door to leave.
"Remember, I'm your Alpha now, so dad you better stay away from my Luna.
I can kill anyone who will even think of pointing a finger at her and
whoever wants to hurt her, including you."
I said dangerously just as I opened the
door and went out.
I went downstairs to the kitchen to grab
something to drink and cool me down.
How dare he think I would mate with someone else? I was beyond angry.
"Hey, Leo." I snapped my head towards the all too familiar voices. Adrian and
Cade, my friends, who also do not belong to the wolf realm.
Adrian, is a hybrid snake and talking about the Cade, he's full name is El Cade Jo, and yeah good catch, he's that creature which you are thinking about. Cadejo, which is said to be a creature that appears in the form of a really big dog with big feet, long, skinny legs, fangs, and red eyes.
Yes, your guess is right.
"I told you not to call me that.
That's my last name, and you guys call me by my last name, and you even cut it into half to give me a nickname. Are you guys serious?" I
grumbled as I finished my cola.
They looked at each other and shrugged.
I sighed.
"How's our Luna?" Adrian, asked as he grabbed two cans
from the fridge, handing one over to the
Cade who was sitting on the stool
opposite me.
I met Cade while I got lost in a mysterious forest, and he leads me out there. Well, that's what El Cade Jo, does. There is a good and evil version of this creature. The goodwill lead lost travelers to safety, where the Evil side will lead travelers to their death. And hopefully, I met the good side and since then he's staying in my pack as a part of this pack. While for Adrian, well it's a long story but similar to the Cade's but you guys will know soon.
"Improving." I shrugged.
"When can we see her?" Adrian asked.
"I don't know. She's still not waking up
and I think she'll need time to get used
to us and trust us." I replied sadly at
the thought of her being afraid of me,
or anyone of that matter.
Just then we heard my mom screaming and
I look at Adrian and Cade as we made our way towards my room.
"She's--she's gone Lorcan. Your mate,
she's gone."
My mother's words kept repeating themselves in my mind as we all practically ran towards my room, panic and scared and she's gone? How can she be gone? We didn't see anyone leave through the front door and no one smelled any unfamiliar scent. This is my fault. I
wasn't supposed to leave her.
I opened my room's door to only stop
dead in my tracks.
There, the place where my mate should be was empty. She wasn't there. I was going
to break down.
