The members of the Burning Cauldron kept on running around dodging the spells that Luis threw at them. Some of the spells hit them and threw them towards the walls.
The mocking look on the members of the Burning Cauldron left on the arena changed into despair as they were toyed by the young man easily.
"He cast those grades 1 to 3 spells like he was just breathing and it seems like it didn't even affect the consumption of his energy." One of the audience spoke.
The audience was partially right because of the Cosmic Skill: Regenerate, he can still regenerate his energy while casting spells which has a negligible effect on his consumption.
Earth Spikes, Light Rod, Astral Winds, Vine Whip. Name all of the Low-Grade skills that he casted and one can see how disastrous this was. He threw them faster towards the opponent as a white ball appeared on his palm and threw it at the barrier covering the members of the Sky Chasers.
"A friendly fire! He's mad!" One of the audience exclaimed.
"Don't be scared guys, trust our dear brother!" Alyssa smiled.
"Yes, we are trusting your husband wholeheartedly!" Julianne teased Alyssa and giggled.
"Stop it!" Alyssa blushed as she pushed Julianne gently.
The white ball hit the barrier and it spread and covered the other barriers as this barrier devoured the latter and changed its color into transparent as if they were covered with glass.
"Looks like our man doesn't want to hog all of the fun!" Archie crunched his fists as he stood and stretched his limbs.
"A little fun wouldn't hurt I guess?" Rex smiled as he also stood up.
"I'm itching to punish these bastards for making fun of our man's master!" Julianne grinned and also stood up. The others also stood up and looked towards Luis. Luis looked back and nodded as he hovered above the barrier where the members of the Sky Chasers were and casted the Regenerate skill towards the barrier.
"Punish them all you want!" A deep voice belonging to Luis rang in their mind. They all nodded and prepared to make these people who tarnished the name of Luis's beloved master feel the experience of the living hell.
The ground suddenly became steel as it glowed and produced extreme heat. They can feel the burning sensation but their skins aren't burning. A combination of Achilleas's Steel Domain, Alyssa's Hellfire, and Jay's Contradicting Temperature. They mastered every skill that they can collectively use and use them to torture the Burning Cauldron.
A tree emerged as thick vines hang down from the branches and every time they hit the enemy an explosion was happening. A combination spell of Archie's Tree Whips, Julianne's Sensitive Explosions, and Cyrius's Space Containment. He used the spell to contain Julianne's Explosion orbs inside the vines and it will trigger when the vine hits something.
A whirlpool in the air with swirling black bolts of lightning roamed around the arena and when an enemy was hit, they will be temporarily paralyzed and a force will push them towards the wall. It's the combination spell of Serion's Tornado, Kyle's Whirlpool, Rex's Lightning Crusade, and Jericho's Invisible Pressure. These spells lasted for hours and there's no sign of it stopping.
"Why aren't those stopping yet?" One of the audience asked.
"A spell can be freely controlled by the caster once it was released. They have the freedom to keep it going or retract it as long as they have the energy to do so." An old man from the audience answered which is also a mentor of the Mages at the School of Combat.
"How come their energy doesn't run out even though they kept those spells running for hours?"
"Can you see the floating man above them? He's supplying them with energy and I think he has a spell that can continuously consume the atmospheric energy and refill his own."
"Is that possible?"
"Yes, that's the advantage of being neutral, as long as they find a spell like that, running out of energy is not an option."
"I see. " The young man responded as he looked back towards the fight. This can't be considered one because this is utterly a show of torture.
When a member of the Burning Cauldron was hit by either the exploding vines or the raging whirlpool. They will fly towards the wall that will lead them to the brink of unconsciousness but once they fall on the ground. The searing heat of the floor will wake them up. This continued until the sunset and then Luis raised his hand as a signal to stop. The spells slowly died down and the members of the Burning Cauldron who was trying to take a rest finally became unconscious and lay flatly on the ground except one.
Francis who looked beat up and breathing heavily looked at Luis with fright in his eyes. "You know what? You're such a bastard! That's the reason why you're pathetic coal master died!" He shouted.
Luis summoned a Light Blade out of rage and was about to stab Francis when a Steel Shield appeared in front of him and he felt warm from behind as someone hugged him from behind.
"No need to dirty your hands with the blood of that bastard. Let's just go home now." Alyssa gently spoke from behind as the glowing eyes of the young man slowly dimmed and the brown colored pupil of his eyes returned.
They walked outside the arena together leaving Achilleas behind.
"Mess with our men again and I'll make sure that even your father who is the mayor can't redeem you when I send you to hell! Remember that!" Achilleas firmly warned as he punched the exhausted man on the face which immediately made him unconscious.
"The Winner of this Battle, Sky Chasers!" The referee announced as cheers and screams boomed around the stadium.
"Good thing we quit. I can't imagine our fate when we didn't foresee what will happen." The man who quitted first spoke with relief.
"Agreed!" The second one nodded.
"We don't even have the chance to participate in the realm even though we stayed so, just avoid being a dimwit like them." The woman who left the third calmly stated.
"If they just surrendered earlier just like what I did, they won't experience that hell!" The last man who quit wiped the sweat on his forehead which appeared when he thought of the frightening outcome when he didn't surrender.
"I guess we are the wise ones." The second stated.
"Have you observed what happened?" The woman asked.
"Yes, is something matter?" The last one replied.
"If you observed the battle, you can see that the Sky Chasers didn't even flinch when Luis threw that white ball at them, as if they knew that he won't hurt them. With a simple change of the barrier's quality, they understood what he wants." The woman pondered and told what's on her mind.
"Yeah! And the three combination spells? They work as if they were a system that operates together!" The first one nodded.
"Truly impressive, the ideal team to have! Probably the reason why they became a Famiglia. They have this extraordinary connection that no other team had." The third also stated while his eyes were sparkling with inspiration.
"Agreed!" The second spoke.
The four who forfeited and survived that catastrophe sighed as they walked out of the stadium.
Meanwhile, the Sky Chasers silently entered the headquarters after Cyrius teleported them back. They silently sat in the lobby of the headquarters as the heavy atmosphere permeated the surroundings. The mood was caused by the sad memory of Eristreas which the team tried to forget.
"Cheer up guys! Don't let those memory ruin our victory mood! I know Grandpa Dave won't like to see us sulking around!" Luis tried to lift the atmosphere.
"Yeah! The one who lost a loved one tried to cheer us up! Come on, guys!" Serion added as he smiled at Luis and the Sky Chasers.
"Push those weak thoughts away and get the booze!" Achilleas cheered as he ran towards the Leisure room which is wide enough to have a small bar and some entertainment equipment like magic ball tables, music-making discs, and image-producing formation to play, dance, and watch with.
The other members of the Sky Chasers cheered up and ran towards the Leisure area and celebrated their victory.
Some of the boys drank booze at the bar while some are playing magic ball which has the same rules as billiards but the balls are floating inside a semi-transparent cube and the players need to shoot the balls inside the moving pockets. The girls and some boys sang along with the music-playing formation discs which also projects the lyrics in a magic mist like how karaoke works way back at Earth.
They partied all night and decided to take a hot bath together before calling it a night.
Morning came and as usual, Luis woke up early but as soon as he opened his door, he smelled an appetizing fragrance as if someone or somebody was cooking a delicious meal. He strolled down the stairs and went to the kitchen on the first floor and saw the two ladies of the team preparing food. He just stood at the doorway and silently listen to them.
"You're making that for him don't you?" Julianne giggled.
"Stop it! I'm cooking it for everyone! Stop teasing me!" Alyssa retorted as she stirred the soup.
"Don't worry, Luis will love what you cooked!" Julianne exclaimed that made Luis surprised.
"She's making that for me? Why though?" Luis thought when he noticed the mark of his Master glowed and immediately walked inside the Meeting Room.
He controlled his energy and opened the message his Master Bro sent him.
'Luis, I am coming to your headquarters together with the deans and some people. Just informing you so you can be prepared!'
Luis read the message as he walked back towards the kitchen.
"Do you like Luis? Yes or no? Just tell me the truth!" Julianne firmly asked.
"I think so?" Alyssa shyly answered as her face blushed.
Loud footsteps rang inside the kitchen as they saw Luis walking towards them.
"What are you discussing? Mind to fill me in?" Luis smiled as he looked towards the girls.
"What did you hear?" Alyssa blushed and her face is so red like a tomato.
"Nothing, by the way, the Deans are coming and they brought some guests with them. I'll help you prepare some things for them." Luis informed as he helped in cooking some foods and baking some sweets for the visitors.
Alyssa's blush didn't even fade throughout the time when they're preparing and Julianne silently teased Alyssa by having the smug look on her face.
After a few hours, a knock can be heard from the door, and when Luis opened it. He saw the deans standing together with four familiar faces behind them.
