The team enjoyed the whole day after they moved to their headquarters. They used every facility inside, from the hot baths to the occupational rooms, and the leisure room. After enjoying, they took a rest and prepared to fight their next opponent first thing in the morning.
In a wide stadium where the past fights happened. Hundreds of people gathered to watch the last fight of the Qualifications. The fight between the Sky Chasers and the Burning Cauldron.
"Hey! Have you heard it yet? There's rumored to be a team who ascended and became a famiglia?" One of the audience asked the man beside him.
"Not yet, from what famiglia did they ascend? Purple Mist or Green Leaves?"
"Nope, not from them. I guess this team is unaffiliated?"
"There are a dozen of the unaffiliated team around, which could it be?"
Their conversation was interrupted when the lights of the stadium suddenly dimmed and a group of people came out from one side of the stadium.
They wore a badge on their chest with a symbol of a cauldron burning from the bottom to the top thus the Burning Cauldron.
A moment later, a team emerged on the other side of the arena. They wore no badge to represent their team.
"Hey! Isn't that against the rules! They should wear their team's badge!"
"Yeah! That's against the rules!"
The members of the Burning Cauldron shouted as they objected altogether.
"No rule was violated, this battle will continue!" The referee announced.
"No way! How come they didn't violate any rule?"
"It's okay, let's just finish this quickly."
On the referee's cue, a loud explosion rang in the middle of the arena as the two teams standing erect against each other. Seriously looking against each other when the familiar face of a young man suddenly smirked and stepped out.
"Long time no see, apprentice of the Vice Dean! Never know we will meet again!" The familiar young man who bullied Luis and Cyrius way back then spoke. The young man named Francis. The leader of the Burning Cauldron.
"Oh, haven't learned your lesson yet Francis?" Luis mocked back as he stood and crossed his arms.
"What lesson? That ambush you made? Can you be any more shameless than that?" Francis smirked as he also crossed his arms and made a mocking expression.
"Oh! That's why you ambushed the guy delivering my pills to take revenge! Applause to the biggest hypocrite of the city!" Luis mocked back.
"Oh yeah? At least my first master isn't a pathetic loser who can't even protect a small town from being sieged and instead, he let himself turn into a large chunk of coal! Hahaha! Pathetic!" Francis laughed hard as he mocked the old man who was the first master of the young man.
The Sky Chasers suddenly felt chills after they heard what the opponent has said. They stepped back further away from Luis until they touched the walls of the stadium as they cast multiple-barrier spells to shield themselves.
"Are the Sky Chasers decided to go on the defensive?"
"No! Something's not right! If they decided to go on the defensive, why do they left a member behind."
"Hm, I don't know what's going on but I can feel that something big is going to happen."
Confused discussions swarmed the whole arena because of the strange movement the Sky Chasers made.
"He plucked the dragon's reverse scale, now they, alone, should face the wrath of that dragon." Serion smug as the whole Sky Chasers sat on the ground as if they, themselves, are spectators of this fight.

"They shouldn't make fun of someone's hurtful memory. The consequence shall be born by them alone." Alyssa stated with a straight face as she looked at the other team facing Luis alone.
"Pathetic old bastard trying to be a hero but in the end turned into useless coal? He deserves to rot in hell! Hahaha!" Francis mocked again when he discovered that Luis isn't retorting what he was saying.
"That's right! Pathetic loser doesn't have the right to live!" One of Francis's subordinate added fuel to the fire.
"Guys, I think what you're doing is overboard!" One of the members of the team tried to stop them but to no avail, they didn't succeed.
"Stop that already Francis! You're disrespecting the deceased!" Another one tried to stop them.
"You don't have the right to stop me loser! If you don't want what I'm doing, then quit!" Francis reprimanded them.
"You know what? Fine! We don't need a useless dictator like you! We only joined because we want to experience getting inside the realm but I don't want a stupid bastard like you to guide us! I'm out!" The first person who tried to stop Francis raged as he walked out of the arena.
"Me too! You are the pathetic bastard here, not us!" The other one also left as he followed the first one who left. Another one also left silently.
"Look at that! Three of the members of the Burning Cauldron left! What a loss for the Burning Cauldron!" One of the audience exclaimed.
"Yeah, they're having an internal conflict, not good for a team." Another one commented and waves of discussion can be heard all around the arena as the participants who were about to fight each other continued to stand erect as the other members of the Sky Chasers quietly sat inside the barrier as the other members of the Burning Cauldron continued to mock the young man.
"You know what? I don't need you useless bastards to defeat this wimp!" Francis shouted as he looked back at Luis who was quietly standing in front of him with his head bowed down looking towards the ground.
"Are you ashamed of your useless first master now? Being an apprentice of coal is not a good thing indeed, you have the right to be ashamed! Hahaha!" Francis mocked again and this time, something was happening to their opponents.
The back of their hands are flickering as the same mark of the Winged-Wolf soaring through the sky can be seen.
"Wait, is that a famiglia insignia?"
"Yah! You're right! No wonder they don't violate any rule because they have the mark representing their team! I mean famiglia!"
Whispers and discussions once again rang all around the arena.
"Can you feel his seething anger guys?" Julianne asked.
"Yes, the chills it's giving me is freaking me out!" Rex shrugged.
"I have goosebumps just from feeling his anger. Scary!" Jericho exclaimed.
"You should be, you don't know what will happen when a storm suddenly hit a calm sea." Achilleas shrugged as a smile formed on his face. "They're doomed for awakening that side of him." He added.
"What do you mean?" Archie asked.
"Remember the time when you think that you all died? I know everything that happened way back then. My clan master discovered that my memory was manipulated and they took all of those manipulated memories and tried to decode what happened and they were shocked at what they discovered." Achilleas grinned as he looked at the back of the young man standing in front of them.
"What do you mean?" Kyle asked.
"You'll see," Achilleas replied and kept on looking at the young man standing in front of them.
"Now what? Apprentice of pathetic coal? Cat got your tongue? Can't talk back now? Good thing that you know your place now!" Francis mocked again but something was happening at their opponent.
"I can bear how you mock me, but never mock the people I loved the most!" Luis spoke deeply and when he looked towards them, his eyes were glowing with different colors, from brown to white then, green, and midnight blue.
"Now, the catastrophe for them has started!" Achilleas smiled.
Luis floated from the ground as he waved his hands and different spells flew all over the place. Rocks suddenly protruded from the ground, rays of light flashed everywhere as the place darken and star-like lights covered the whole place as it bombarded the ground like a meteor shower. Roots crawled fast from the ground chasing the enemies upfront. Some of the debris of the spells hit the barrier but they discovered something. The spells are so strong that it can pierce through the barrier but under certain circumstances, some of their power disappears and it felt like a pebble hitting a sea. It made a ripple but didn't affect the entire sea.
"Is that instant casting? My gods! That kid is a prodigy!"
"That can't be a prodigy! He's more than that, he's a monster!"
"Look at what he was doing to the opponent. They don't even have the time to cast their spells because he was bombarding them."
"Some of the people from the front seat heard that they mocked that kid's first master."
"Which master?"
"The Physician and Alchemist of the town where he came from which was destroyed by now."
"Oh! That man! What he did is heroic actually, he protected the town even though he knows that he doesn't have the power to push the enemy back."
"Yeah, they're such a hypocrite for insulting that man!" Audiences were whispering and the story of Luis spread around the arena like a wildfire.
Luis cast the spells at a fast pace and bombarded the opponents while they are running like blind mice circling the arena. A tear escaped from his face as the memory of his first master and foster father emerged from his mind.
"Look at that cry baby! Crying because he can't take that his coal master is a pathetic rock now!" Francis mocked while dodging the attacks.
"Damn you, Francis!" One of his members shouted as he retreated to the side of the arena. He raised both of his hands as he looked towards Luis. "I surrender Luis! I'm not mocking your master, I just want to join the expedition but I hate Francis's guts, please spare me!" He begged. Luis nodded and gently manipulated the ground and flicked the man out of the arena. The man didn't receive any damage because the floor where he landed turned soft and cushioned his fall. "Thank you!" He shouted as he ran out, and a moment later, he appeared beside the three who left earlier watching what's happening inside the stadium.
"He's such a bastard, right? Good thing Luis let you go or you'll more." One of his comrades spoke.
"I agreed, he challenged the limits of the slumbering beast."
"I felt sorry for our other teammates."
"Don't be, they chose their fate so they will receive the punishment of their deeds." The girl spoke which is the member who silently went out of the arena.
