Chapter 3 - 2 Diagonal Alley

Harry:"According to Olava's vision, this is it."

Harry comments to himself looking at a ran down pub in the middle of London. The sign says "The Leaking Caulderon".

Acording to the vision, this address is a disquised entrance to the magical marketplace known as "diagonal alley".

Harry was excited to see the hidden world for the first time. Sure, he had plenty of adventuring in Skyrim, but the feeling of discovering a whole new world never gets old for Harry.

Harry enters the pub and looks arround. the interior reminds him of skyrim's inns with the medievil atmosphere.

???:"Hello young man, are you here to buy hogwarts supplies?"

a hunchbacked and ugly man asked Harry with a friendly tone.

Harry:"Yes I am."

???:"In that case, lemme guide you to Diagonal Alley. By the way, my name is Tom, I am the owner of The Cauldron, if you need anything, just ask me."

Harry:"Ok. Thank you, mister Tom."

Tom guided Harry to the back of the pub and used a wand to tap a brick on the wall.

The bricks in the wall shifted and moved, giving form to an archway.

Harry's eyes lit with wonder looking at the archway, and more important, what was beyond it.

.

Harry's first stop was Gringots Bank, as he needed currency from the magical world.

Arriving at the bank, he saw several short and ugly people working. They were wrinkled and had sharp teeth and long elf-like ears. They remimded Harry of short, civilized falmers.

Not minding their appearence, Harry went to the nearest teller and waited in line.

On his turn, Harry greeted the teller.

Harry:"Good morning, I'm here to sell some jewelry."

The teller barely spared Harry a glance and pointed him to another worker who was apraising a fist sized ruby.

Teller:"Hookfang there is the goblin you're after, he'll give you a fair price."

Harry thanked the teller and went to the goblin named Hookfang.

Harry sold some gems, jewels, gold ingots and some septims. He also discovered that the currency used here was called galleons.

Now equipped with some cash, Harry went on a shopping spree across Diagonal Alley, buying all that caught his eye plus the school suplies.

.

Buying a wand was an embarassing event, as the store owner tryed to sneak up on Harry and lost 5 teeth on the attempt, but all is well because a bit of magic from his wand fixed him right up.

Harry's wand was made out of dragon heartstring and oak wood, a good wand for combat acording to the owner.

The process to choose the wand was interesting, as the wand was the one doing the choosing. When the wand picked Harry, it produced a small aurora borealis from its tip, it was a beautiful sight.

At last, Harry had everything he needed and went back home to tell Alfred all about his day like the excited child with a bunch of new toys that he is.
