We arrived we noticed the door was wide opened. And before we can question anything Julian came out and tackle hugged me.
"HEY, you're finally here."
"Why is your door wide opened?" I said leaning over and looking at his door and then back at him.
"Oh well, my mom went out to get some green onions from our garden." He said just as his mom rounded the corner. She had scissors in one hand and green onion in the other.
"Hi, you all are finally here." She said with a big smile.
"Hello, thank you so much for having us, Jessica," Dad said as he walked through the door and placed his dish down. "Jessica, I'd like you to meet my wife, Camryn." He said as mom walked to his side.
"Pleasure to meet you, Jessica." Mom said as she put her hand out for a handshake.
"Please call me Jess. The pleasure is all mine. And may I say you are beautiful."
"Of course, Jess. Who is this little rascal?" Mom asked as Julian's pomeranian Oscar started rubbing against my mom's legs trying to get attention.
"That's Oscar Ma'am. And I'm Julian." Julian said offering a hand out to my mom.
"Well, aren't you charming? Your son I'm assuming?"
"Yes, he's in the same grade and school as Lori." Julian's mother said ruffling Julian's hair.
"Oh and my husband Mark is in the kitchen. Please come in. We should eat before the food goes cold." She said as we piled into the dining room. She followed picking up my father's dish.
"Hi, I'm Mark," Julian's dad said as he walked out the kitchen placing the turkey down on the table. "Let's begin dinner now shall we?"
