The Day quickly proceeded, Zu Dai had trained with body refinement and had enlarged his dantain using the greed orb around it.
During this process he found that no matter how hard he attempted to cultivate his dantain directly, the greed orb that surrounded it would still take in the qi and begin the process to enlarge his dantain.
Meaning, that he could no longer advance in cultivation until the greed orb that surrounded his dantain was filled, that was what Zu Dai hoped at least.
With the day proceeding, it finally reached a time that he desperately longed for and this time it wasn't having energetic sex with Jia Li. This time he was waiting for Jia Li's lecture, he desperately wanted to ask Jia Li a lot of questions. These questions varied to what is the separate place that had glass inside him.
When Jia Li came inside, She was fidgeting and looked to be extremely nervous her cheeks dyed red already.
"What's wrong?" Zu Dai asked with clear concern within his voice.
"N-Nothing, Let's continue." She stuttered and then sat on the bed right next to Zu Dai.
Zu Dai began his questions, after an hour of his questions he found that Jia Li returned back to normal and was answering questions with precise answers and gave her own accounts on each experience that he was experiencing. Zu Dai of course held some of his most important questions back like his lust and the greed orb that circled around his dantain.
Those two things, he knew Jia Li couldn't even sense them so what point was there to ask her about something that she clearly has no ideas about. Plus, he felt something holding him back with just blatantly asking her.
Zu Dai received many answers, he found that the separate place where he could see the inside of his dantain was the speciality of reaching rank 6 in qi condensation. Once people reach rank 6 in qi condensation they get the ability to control flying swords, and enter their mind palace..
The Mind Palace was an important utility for any cultivator who wants to create an array, cultivation techniques and also any soul cultivator. The Mind Palace glass person that Zu Dai mentioned to Jia Li was the cultivator's soul.
Zu Dai obviously did not mention that he had cracked his soul slightly. Zu Dai also got a small lesson in handling qi outside of his body from Jia Li, which he took to heart and during the lesson learned how to manage his qi after five attempts.
Jia Li, could only sigh at this. She later told him that it took her weeks to learn how to do that and he condensed her time into ten minutes.
Zu Dai obviously attempted to console her, but found that when he moved closer to her whilst grabbing her hand she returned back to the stuttering mess she was when she first came into the room.
Tilting his head he let go of her hand while having her continue on with the lecture, he noticed her strange behavior but didn't want to ask her about it when she was lecturing him. He wanted to full take advantage of her knowledge that she occurred during cultivation.
After the hour was up, he sent her off causing her to blush while rushing out of his room.
He sat down on the pillow in a lotus position, ' Using the information I gathered, It seems as if refining my body has more depth than simply using different qi and different forms… it also seems that i might need to be within my mind palace to create this.'
He closed his eyes gently after this thought, he reopened them again within his mental palace he didn't know why but doing this was extremely easy for him. He placed that fact up toward his previous achievements and quickly disregarded it.
Taking a wide look around he found that his solid qi had depleted a lot, however he didn't care and sat down in a lotus stance.
He then attempted to body cultivate, he did so and he felt the warmth of his body overlap with his soul confirming that he could cultivate while inside of his mental palace.
'I remember the first time i was inside of this space, I could grab the qi from before it was only an orb that appeared in front of me but I felt as if I could change that orb and make it… better' he paused and rubbed his cracked glass chest 'However, I was unsuccessful and sustained damage to my soul… which are serious.'
He didn't want to attempt the same thing using the orb, however, he continued to think back toward what Jia Li said " The Mind Palace is very important to any cultivator that creates. Qi Refinement warriors don't need to bother with this place much and focus on cultivating more." he then remembered her words about him creating a cultivation technique.
This lead him into a rabbit hole which found him thinking of the words expressed within the cultivation manual.
He had his eyes closed gently processing this information until he opened them and looked around at the surrounding qi moldable qi 'The cultivation manual expressed that one needed to make their dantain as a sword i thought they meant figuratively. Seems like I was wrong.'
He looked around the sea of qi, he had a realization in order to make his body refinement method with his body he would need to form himself inside of here… if they meant quite literally that their dantain becomes a sword does that not mean he could mold the qi inside of her into a sword?
Even then though Zu Dai still felt as if he was missing something, sure he could mold the qi but would that really be enough? He couldn't figure it out either way so he decided to drop attempting to make a body refinement for himself…
Mostly because his soul was already injured and he also didn't know how to mold qi properly at all.
Zu Dai closed his eyes and returned back to his body, he found that time didn't change much while he was inside of his mental palace however, Jia Li had told him that as the level increases the mind palace could potentially evolve making the mind palace slower than the outside world the biggest difference in time she ever heard of was 1 to 3.
This time was achieved by a true immortal who had ascended into heavens court. Unfortunately, during one of Heavenly Emperors bouts with Earth this immortal was slain and his name was slowly forgotten in time only his title remaining 'Immortal Little Moon' this was ten thousand years ago.
During the war between the Heavenly Emperor and Heaven, Zu Dai didn't know much about this time in history as Jia Li only mentioned it in passing when talking about the mind palace but each word she spoke he could see a little sparkle within her eye showing how important this piece of history was.
Zu Dai decided after this that he was going to continue normally with his body refinement and also continue on normally with his cultivation method, he currently couldn't change it and he could do nothing else at all which he internally lamented because of.
'Why did I injure my soul… I could've had a better body refinement method if I didn't…' Zu Dai continued on with the rest of his day.
He spent the day cultivating, then after cultivating for the entire day he found that his lust hadn't grown much for the entire day but he still welcomed Jia Li into his room, who leaped into his arms at the entrance and he responded by taking her lips into his.
He found her lustful expression cute, so he rotated and walked toward his bed where he gently laid her down once more and took her.
The two rested in each other embrace naked until the next day arrived, he could see that Jia Li was more timid during their session this time and when she left he could see that she kept on glancing back toward him.
This is how the next day appeared, it was uneventful as always and the only thing he Zu Dai actually looked forward to was the lectures but then he found out from Jia Li a quarter through the lecture that she taught him everything which she knew.
Zu Dai was depressed but only for a moment before asking her if she could teach him about history instead.
"History? The sect could do better than me…" She attempted to decline teaching him history, but Zu Dai was persistent.
"Come on, you could consider this a part of our lectures… afterall i could learn from those people from the past." He continued to pressure, leaning in closer toward Jia Li completely disregarding the little space she made in between him and her.
"A-Alright!" She placed her hands on his shoulder while bringing her legs off the ground and onto the bed "B-But. . . I want to try something. ."
Zu Dai looked at her expression and found it quite interesting 'Why was she so against teaching me history… "
Jia Li stopped moving closer with a deep breath and moved toward him pressing herself deep into his embrace. Her hands touched his chest and her head rested in between them, her hair covered all sides of her embarrassed face.
