"Hey.... Are you okay?" Neil turned to look at Sandy. "Sometimes you've got to watch your back you know.... Cause you won't see what's coming."
"Why..." Was all Sandy could utter.
"Seems you've forgotten..." Neil chuckled. "I can see behind me."
Sandy looked Neil who kept smiling before he noticed the blood dripping from the side of his mouth making Sandy gasp, the dust fades out slowly that everyone came into view.
They all gasped to see Neil with his arm stretched out, smile on his face and ice on his body.
"It's okay everyone... Everything is under control." After those words Neil collapsed.
"Neil....." His classmates except Delia yelled.
They dashed towards him as he fell... Luckily into Sandy's arms.
"Neil...." Zoe yelled as she ran towards him and grabbed him.
Miss Wade ran from her spot down to where her students were. Elder Chung interlocked his fingers and placed it on his left knee which he had crossed over the right thigh.
"Interesting... " He murmured.
After those words came off his mouth, he smiled. Prof. Hiro on other hand clenched his fist when he saw the smile on Elder Chung's face, he felt his blood boil when he heard the remark of Elder Chung.
"Quick let's get him to the medics." Miss Wade yelled. "Hurry up."
She grabbed a stretcher and placed it close to his body while the rest students grabbed Neil's body and placed it on the stretcher. Sandy just sat down and stared at his bloody hands as they began to shook vigorously.
"His body's getting cold." Reece warned.
"Zoe..." Neil with his last consciousness opened his eyes.
"Neil." She answered.
"Is everyone okay?" He asked.
"We're all fine." She answered almost crying.
"Am glad." Neil smiled and.... Closed his eyes again.

Everyone waited at the lobby with tension in the air, Miss Wade walked to and fro in the lobby with her hands behind the back and her eyes were contemplating... Chiyo couldn't stop crying although both Zoe and Freda tried to console her but she refused to be consoled, Sandy on the other hand sat far from everyone with his head buried in his arms as he clinched his fingers to the knee... Lyn felt concerned and walked towards where he was and gently touched his skin, he lifts his head to meet Lyn's own, she saw he wasn't crying or mourning.... What she saw was rage and without thinking she hugged him tight.
Delia stood far from everyone at the end of the lobby as she watched everyone from the corner of the lobby, she watched for a while before she walked away from the corner and head outside the building... She was closed to the door when images of Neil popped into her head.
"What's this...?" She thought. "Why am I seeing him in my head?... Why should I be worried?"
She stood by the door for a while and the nurse there noticed her reluctance from opening the door.
"Ma'am...." She called out and Delia turned towards her. "Is everything alright."
Silence.
Delia just stared at the nurse for a while with her blank expression that sent cold chill into the nurse.. then she walked out of the building, the nurse on the other sighed heavily.
"What's that expression of hers?" She thought. "How can she be so blank stated.?"
Delia walked towards the garden with her arms folded above her breast and stared at it for a while as gentle breeze blew past her, the yard was empty.

Neil opened his eyes and stared at the white clean ceiling for a long while before turning his head to the side of the bed.
"Here again huh?" He thought. "Guess you just don't think before jumping into action."
He sat upright and looked at the drip at his right arm and smiled but he doesn't know why he's smiling.
"Anybody there?" He called out.
Silence.
"Great..." He murmured.
He laid back to look at the ceiling again and decided to use his ability, his eyes transformed into it's purpled patterned form and his telepathy increased massively that he could hear and see everyone in the hospital... Then he knew he was in the surgery center. He spotted Sandy sitting with his head in his arms.
"Hey Sandy..." He telepaths.
"Huh." Sandy looked around.
"It's Neil.... What's going on.?" Neil telepaths.
"Am hallucinating again." Sandy thought.
"Am inside your brain you knucklehead." Neil telepaths again.
"Is that really you mate?" Sandy asked.
"Yes..." Neil telepaths. "Tell a nurse there to come check me out.. Am fine."
"In a moment." Sandy replied.
Neil was feeling weak so he deactivated his powers and began to pant heavily, he wasn't getting to his limits yet but he's feeling weak.

Elder Chung walked to his car with his bodyguards and Prof. Hiro closely behind him, he suddenly turned to meet Prof. Hiro as if he was forgetting something.
"I thought you said that those kids in class D are unable to control their powers?" He asked.
"Yes..." Prof. Hiro replied.
"How come that Randolf's kid is there.... Knowing the status of his father in the country." He asked again.
"Well... He lately activated his powers and he has no total control over it." Prof. Hiro answered. "His powers get to it's peak only when he's has an andrenaline rush."
"I see." He rubs his chin. "That explains why he could move that fast to save that kid."
"Indeed." Prof. Hiro replied.
Silence.
"Guess my work here is done.." Elder Chung said after long period of silence.
"We hope to see you again sir." Prof. Hiro smiled.
"That my friend..." Elder Chung chuckled. "Is a lie...."
"Not at all sir." Prof. Hiro laughed.
"I have high expectations for these next generational gifted." He looked up. "It's time one retires."
Silence.
"Don't you think so." He asked.
"Of course." Prof. Hiro replied.
He sighed before he turned towards his car, a bodyguard opened the cars back door for him to enter which he did majestically. Few minutes later after some movement commotion caused by the bodyguards, the car zoomed off the compound and hit the road towards another destination. Elder Chung looked at his walking stick and sighed again.
"There's something fishy about that man." He thought. "Prof. Hiro... You're are a smart man indeed... Hiding a vital information for even I to notice is overwhelming.... You live to your reputation."
Prof. Hiro watched as the dust that was caused by Elder Chung's car fades away slowly, he sighed heavily before turning around to meet Miss Wade at the balcony, standing with her arms folded above her chest. Prof. Hiro understood the meaning to her standing and nodded, she left and head to the schools infirmary.

Dr. Midori walked to Neil's bed with a file on her left arm and a cup of coffee on the other hand, she sips from the cup as she approach the bed and placed the cup of coffee on the table as she scanned through her file. Neil sighed and she moved her iris towards his direction and saw him wide awake in bed tapping his fingers.
"Seems you've woken up." Dr. Midori said.
"For few minutes though." Neil replied.
Silence
"Seems you've gotten a permanent visitation to my office." Dr. Midori smiled. "How long has it been since you last came to visit."
"Few weeks eventually." Neil said. "If memory serves me right."
"Well... That makes it twice in a row mate." She walked to his side and touched his head. "Your temperature has stabled... You'll live."
"Was I going to die." Neil asked almost immediately.
"Well... Those ice pierced some vital points in your body." She said. "You were brought here just in time.. You might have gone asleep.... Forever."
"Now that's not friendly of you." Neil gawked.
"Just be careful okay." She went back to the table and retrieved her coffee. "You might not be lucky next time."
"I'll keep that in mind." Neil swallowed.
"But I don't understand...." She turns towards him. "Why were so reckless in doing what you did?"
"Huh.... What would that be?" Neil looked confused.
"Putting yourself in harms way for someone else." She finished. "That's reckless you know."
"My dad made me understand one thing." Neil smiled. "You won't know the extent of your potentials if you don't put yourself in harms way."
"Is that why you have to risk your life?" She asked. "Just to know your potentials?"
Neil laughed.
"Is there something else?" She asked suspiciously.
"Well..." Neil smiled.
Neil looked up to see a shadow behind the curtain and with the appearance of the shadow he guessed it was Sandy. He smiled again.
"It's because I don't want anyone I care about to die." Neil said loudly. "Especially the last of his kind."
The shadow suddenly turned and left then Neil knew that it was Sandy.
"You're difficult to understand." Dr. Midori smiled. "But I like it."
Neil sighed and closes his eyes, just then more shadows appeared behind the curtains and it was flung open without difficulty as Zoe and Jade dashed through and gripped Neil and shook him viciously.
"You moron.... Why would do such a thing?" They asked in rage.
"Ehhhh...." Neil giggles. "Sorry... Won't do it again."
"You've always got your way in doing things... That pretty great of you." Miss Wade smiled. "It's so good you're okay."
"I got lucky.... But I have to find a way of doing things without getting injured." Neil rubbed his head.
"You better." Delia appeared. "Because you will die when it happens."
"I will take that as a complement." Neil murmured.
"Speaking of saving.... Where is Sandy?" Lyn asked.
"He hasn't been himself lately." Rory added.
"He will come around." Neil said.
"And how can you tell?" Jayden asked.
"Well...." Neil rolled his eyes. "I just knew."
Silence
"Well... The good news is.." Miss Wade looked at her students. "You role play is all over.... You can take off your wrist bands."
The students cheered.

Sandy walked through the lobby sluggishly without lifting his head to see the direction he's heading.
"So he knew all this time." He thought. "And pretended not to..... Neil... What else do you know about me?"
