"Okay time's up." Ms. Agazer said. That's why we stopped our doing.
"You are all did a great job. Let's give yourselves around of applause." Ms. Agazer said and we clapped. I shocked when Roggen looking at me while smiling.
"Congratulations you made it." Roggen said.
"Thank you, I can't do that but because of you." I said to him.
We entered to the room and the teachers taught lessons. Just like before I feel sleepy again.
"Kriiiing!! Kriiiing!! the bell rang which means recess time.
My classmates are already came out to our room but Roggen is still inside the room. I just want to invite him to eat lunch together with Chalize. He is only one to the room and finally he came out. He is holding books.
"I just want to invite you to eat lunch." I come to him.
"Okay" He just said and he walk then he is not looking at me. What is his problem?
"Why are you carrying books during recess time?" I asked him and we are walking together into the canteen. He stop walking in looked at me in serious mode.
"Maybe I will eat these books." He said and smiled in teasing way.
"You are crazy you know that? I am asking you in serious way then you would answer me in rude way!" I said.
He just smiled. "You are cute when you're acting like that." He said and smiled again. I feel shy at him. Why is he saying those things?
"When I finished my eating I will read my books. That's my hobby." He said.
"Why is that?" I asked him.
"The foods are for our intestine, then the books are for our brains." Roggen said seriously. He is talking like Albert Einstein. Somehow I amaze in his words but I always feel irritated.
We went to canteen then I saw Chalize running to us. She hugged me very tight.
"I miss you Alexis." Chalize said and she is smiling widely.
"I don't miss you." I replied.
"Hmmmfk, you don't love me?? She said and she pout and her face is become sad. That's why Roggen and I laughed at her.
"Roggen volunteered to go to counter to order the foods. Chalize and I went to the table.
"Alexis I have something to tell you." Chalize said and she is smiling and blushing. Then she looked to Roggen that falling in the line.
"I like Roggen!!" She said and laughed then she really feel the romantic excitement. What a flirt girl.
"Just keep that secret huh." She said and she pinched my cheeks. She really like Roggen. I think they are meant to be because they are both weird. hahaha!
"Congratulation to two of you!!" Chalize said. We got ninety six grade of our performance.
"Dissection is hard, I just wanna thank you because you helped my best friend." Chalize said to Roggen while smiling. She is really obvious.
"That's my obligation because she is my partner. Roggen said and also smiled to Chalize. Chalize and Roggen are sitting side by side and I'm in the front of them. We continue eating and Roggen and Chalize are talking to each other and they are laughing.
"Really? You two are flirting in front of me?" I said and I finished my eating.
"Are you bitter? Chalize said then they're both laughed loudly. I just shake my hands.
"We have two hours break. So we still have one hour and twenty minutes. Let's walk and see the beautiful spot in our school." Roggen said.
"That's good, come on Alexis! Chalize said with full of energy.
"We will walk in this campus? Then when we entered to the room we are like frogs that full of sweat." I said that's why they're laughed and I also laughed in what I said.
"Come on Alexis it will help to burn your fats." Roggen teased me that's why I looked at him in bad look. Chalize is laughing to Roggen.
"I know I'm your best friend." I said to Chalize they are just laughed. These two are really crazy.
"The University of Santo Tomas is one of the oldest existing universities and holds the oldest extant university charter in the Philippines and in Asia. It was founded on April 28, 1611, by the third Archbishop of Manila, Miguel de Benavides, together with Frs. Domingo de Nieva and Bernardo de Santa Catalina." Roggen said and we are now walking inside the campus.
"It was first called Colegio de Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario and later renamed Colegio de Santo Tomás in memory of Dominican theologian Saint Thomas Aquinas. In 1624, the Colegio was authorized to confer academic degrees in theology, philosophy and arts. In 1927, with the continuing increase in enrollment, the university moved from Intramuros to its present site which covers an area of 21.5 hectares in the district of Sampaloc, Manila." Roggen added and we amazed of what he said.
"Wow, you're so very genius you have lots of knowledge." Chalize commended Roggen and Chalize just smiled widely. My best friend is the best in flirting. Roggen just smiled to her.
"Do you know the story of the two lovers in this school?" Roggen asked. It seems like I heard that story in this school.
"Yup, they said that the lovers had break up in a very sad story. Chalize said and she become sad.
"Let me tell you the story of the two lovers happened in this school." Roggen said and he started to tell a story.
"In year 1621, there's a man who in the seminary. He is very kind and faithful to God. He is "mestizo." Means he has blood of Spanish. His father is a pure Spanish and her mother is a Filipina. He has relationship with a Filipina women. The Filipina women is a servant. Her name is Nena. She is working and cleaning inside the school. They are secretly dating and no one knows about their relationship because in seminary you shouldn't date or will have relationship. One day there is a man who saw them holding each other hands.This issue reached the priest of the church. So he order to remove the man in seminary and he also ordered to kill Nena.
"The two lovers were called by the father of church. They confessed their relationship. They had sorry to the father but the father didn't accept their apology. The decision of father to kill a woman didn't changed even the man begged and kneel down to him. The woman is crying but she accepted her destiny.
"Ready!!' The guardia civil (civil guard) focused the gun on Nena. She is standing on the high stone in this school.
"Stop it!!" The man shouted then he hugged Nena.
"I will not forsake you, I will always love you. We will die together. I can't live without you." The man said.
"It is my destiny, I chose to love you and I do not regret that I chose you." The women said and they hugged each other while crying. The civil guard felt mercy in the two lovers.
"Alejandro, leave her!! Do not increase you guilt!!" The father shouted at a man.
"Loving a woman is not a sin. God is love. The true love dosen't discriminate, abuse and mistreat people. Are only the Spanish love by our God? Of course no, we are all people who made by our God." Alejandro said. The father and the civil guard felt angry because they know that they are what Alejandro is referring to.
"Fire them!! The father said. That's why Alejandro hugged her girl. He is willing to sacrifice his life for a woman that he is really love.
The people felt touched in the two lovers that's why they stopped the civil guards. Other people are also crying. That's why the father decided to separate them instead of kill them. Alejandro decided to back in seminary and Nena castaway to Cebu. Unfortunately they are not to each other but luckily they are alive. They are chose to leave each other just to make them alive. That's the true love. You should sacrifice time, effort and even life for the sake of your love ones."
