Silvia sat in her bedroom.
She and Jax had tried to escape, but no consequence was given.
Jax did end up with a small cut on his shoulder, but that was it.
"Do you want to do that again?'' Jax asked quietly.
Silvia sat on the top bunk reading "Guns of the Allies." She wasn't paying attention to Jax or anything for that matter.
"Such a bookworm." Jax muttered.
"What was that?" Silvia asked.
"Oh, nothing." Jax laughed.
Silvia rolled her eyes and returned to her book. "Did you know that the American soldiers used the model 3 Klockpit until attack on Pearl harbor two."
"Wait, there are two attacks?" Jax asked.
"Yeah, both on December 7th.'' Silvia responded
"How Ironic isn't that your birthday."
"I was ten during the second attack." Silvia said, a bit more annoyed.
"And-"
"Ok, I would really like some sleep please." Silvia snapped.
"Oh, ok" Jax beamed at her.
Silvia turned her light off and went to sleep.
That night, she dreamt of war, and the second attack on Pearl harbor. She saw a boy running through soldiers. Silvia raised her hand. In her hands there was a pistol. She fired at the boy who fell to the ground.
"Kathalene, I don't understand!" The boy cried.
Silvia opened her mouth to speak, but instead of her voice, it was another's. "That's why you don't trust people so easily Kelvin."
The dream faded and she woke up to find Jax shaking her.
"What do you want!!" Silvia asked.
"It's lunch!"
"Lunch?" Silvia turned to find a piece of bread and orange juice lying on the table, a napkin with the Japanese flag on it sat neatly on the tray.
"Hey, I don't have that yet!" Jax gasped.
Jax collected napkins as a hobby. Thing is, these were collectors' napkins.
"I have Spain, Canada, China, Italy, two Germany and now Japan."
"You can have the rest of mine Jax." Silvia said, handing him a pile of napkins.
"Sweet!" Jax laughed.
"Yeah, keep them." Silvia said softly. She grabbed her book to find a note in it.
"Why do you have that book anyways?" Jax asked.
"My father gave it to me before he died, he was killed by the Allies, and since I had no family, I was recruited," Silvia looked at the note, "it's a postcard."
"From where?" Jax asked.
"Canada?" Silvia's eyes went wide. "I don't remember anything about a battle in Canada."
The postcard read, " To my beautiful sister, Aria."
"Aria?" Jax asked.
"I think this is the book from the library." Silvia said.
"Yeah, someone left a bookmark that just so happened to be a postcard from Canada."
"Maybe." Silvia laughed.
"Yeah, I'll see you in a bit." Jax left the room.
"Hmm, Aria."
