Chapter 43 - Golden Sphere

Due to the mismatch of the levels between the skill and Han Sen, he had exhausted all of his internal energy, it had even eaten away at his body's vitality making him look paler and a bit skinnier. Having entered an extremely vulnerable state, he was just about to get into a meditative position before suddenly black sand-like matter emanated from all over his body, healing his body in the process.

Just like that, he had been healed!

Smiling to himself, Han Sen looked towards what was left of the late Sect Master with a suppressed hatred. Even though he had gotten his revenge, that still wouldn't bring back his family. But before he could delve deeper into his thoughts he saw a small rune stone amidst what was the Sect Master.

'No way he had one...' Han Sen thought as he slowly approached the meat paste spewed across the ground. Utilizing his internal energy., he influenced the rune stone to float up to eye level, discarding the gooey remains, Han Sen observed the stone with curiosity before letting out a hearty smile.

'I can't believe this guy actually had an innate talent all along... but why didn't he use it? Did he look down on us that much that he didn't find it necessary to use it? I mean I'm not complaining or anything...'

Thankfully Han Sen himself also had an innate talent which was the only reason he was able to discover the rune stone. Due to the heavenly restrictions, it was only those with innate talent that could discover and assimilate the rune stones.

'What a surprising gain...' He thought as he stored the rune stone in his spatial ring. Having done that, he was just about to turn his attention away when suddenly a blob of flesh floated up. It floated mid-air for a few seconds before it flew away. Looking at its trajectory, Han Sen saw the main character at the end of it sporting an evil grin.

In front of him was a new array that seemed to have a sinister effect. OH wait, no never mind, it wasn't sinister at all he was just stealing the spatial rings of the Sect Master. That was made apparent when the blob of flesh slid of and a slick black ring was revealed.

But it wasn't only limited to the Sect Master as from under the rubble, countless rings flew up into the sky, causing dust to fly in their trail. Some were covered in blood and dust while others had whole fingers connected to them.

The main character held a look of disgust as he saw the severed fingers being carried with the rings, but he wasn't about to discard them for such a silly little reason. 'I mean it's not even a big deal, its just flesh, blood, and bones... nothing I haven't seen before...'

Hundreds if not thousands of small dots passed through the sky, making it seem like a swarm of angry insects were headed towards the main character for revenge. But there was no revenge, nor was there any insects, there was only riches!

'Jeez I'm about to make a fortune!' He thought as his grin grew larger.

But just as the rings were about to come into his possession, the Atlas removed itself from the staff before reforming into its original form. Having done that, it warped space before appearing in front of the array formation the main character had made. Slowly drawing itself from its the sheath, infinite light came out.

As if possessed, the rings wildly flew towards the blinding light, disappearing up on making contact.

The main character was shocked and angered by the doings of his precious Atlas, but before he could express any of his indigestion he slowly felt the godly essence in his chest increase by a substantial amount... I mean it was substantial but it was far from being enough to power the almighty Truth ability the main character once had.

Well still had actually as he just never had the energy for him to utilize it, with him being a whole cultivation cripple and all...

'The more essence I have the faster I can return to my godhood and stop that system from accessing my creation computer...'

Han Sen seeing this was baffled as to how the main character managed to subdue such a terrifying weapon.

'The only way he would could do this is if he is equally as terrifying... but how could that be when he's so young? What monstrous potential does he possess??? To think he was able to reach such a terrifying level at such a young age, just goes to show that there is always someone stronger out there...'

But as his thoughts continued he suddenly remembered something frightening, 'Wait, wasn't there a technique that transfered souls from one vessel to another??? Could this kid actually be a master in disguise?!?!?!? That would explain his level as well as his deep knowledge of arrays...'

The more he looked at the main character, the more he thought that this was the correct assumption.

'I really hope he doesn't hold a grudge for how I addressed him earlier...' He thought as he remembered how mad the main character had gotten.

After the Atlas finished absorbing the spatial rings and all their contents, it finally sheathed itself returning to its normal state.

'Hmmmm, next order of business should be the treasury.'

Having thought of that conclusion, the main character located Han Sen before flying towards him. Han Sen watching this got a bit nervous thinking the mc was some sort of ancient Sage.

Arriving in front of him, the main character said, "So where is the treasury?"

Han Sen quickly responded, afraid he would anger the Sage.

"Follow me, sire."

The main character let out a sly smile as he was given honorific for the first time in this life. 'Oh how I've missed this feeling...' He thought relishing the feeling of his obvious superiority.

Heading towards the central island, the duo were met with endless ruins. Han Sen had really done a number on the Nine Dragon Sect going all Uchiha and dropping a whole meteor on them.

Real original... reeeeeal original...

Finally reaching the treasury, Han Sen pointed towards a pile of rubble and destruction before saying, "we've arrived, the treasury should be below all this rubble..."

The main character nodded his head before saying, "proceed", urging Han Sen to clear the way. Getting the cue, Han Sen awkwardly nodded thinking, 'pretty sure you could have dug it up faster but ok...'.

Using his internal energy to influence the rubble, creating an opening to what seemed like a golden surface. When all the surrounding rubble and dirt was excavated, a golden sphere appeared. It had the diameter of around 25 feet(8m) and was decorated with circles all around.

Han Sen pointed at the sphere before saying, "That's the value. An ancient treasure that has its own subspace as well as defences. "Unfortunately, the array needed will take quite a while to finish alone but if you were to help me, we could probably finish it in under an hour..."

Han Sen said with a coy smile. The main character on the other hand was not interested in the slightest as he said, "No need..." before drawing his Atlas.
