"Why do they have a grudge towards the common people?" Soren asked curiously.
"Let's say that curiosity killed the catfish." The man answered menacingly.
The moment the man said that, Soren felt a chill down his spine. He realised that this topic was a taboo, so he quickly changed the question:
"Then, let me ask something different. Would it be possible for someone to give his invitation, if he had one for example but he couldn't go for whatever reason?"
"Technically that would be possible as long as the person that wouldn't be able to come and told the church for this, but such a situation is unprecedented today. No one would have such a big reason to miss out on the biggest event of the year." The man explained.
"I see... Thank you for the information mister." Soren replied back.
"You are welcome." The man said before Soren returned to his thoughts.
'After getting more information, it is safe to conclude that the one with the highest chance to have invited me, has to be the Arch-Priestess herself. For starters, me and Lavenza, technically Lavenza, have a conncetion to the Arch-Priestess. Lavenza as the daughter and me as Lavenza's protector, secondly, her obsession with her children could be a major factor to force a meeting or even to plant eyes on us. Lastly, the other two possiblities are now almost none, since the only noble family who would try to make contact with, would hate my guts and the company theory is out of the window since I haven't caught any eyes, unless we count on a company that focuses on being as unassuming as possible. In the end, we may have to have a meeting with that crazy woman. Just thinking about it, is giving me headaches.' Soren thought to himself for a while, while rubbing his temples.
Now that Soren had a solid theory on this entire mess, it was time to plan the next course of action, which was waiting. He couldn't leave the area thanks to the guards and who knows when she might come back to introduce the reincarnator.
"Well... This is one mess and a half for sure." Soren said to himself while feeling dejected.
"Kyuu~?" Lavenza seemed a bit confused by Soren's expression.
"It's nothing little girl. We just have to wait until we are able to leave. After that, we can go hunting again." Soren said to Lavenza beofre he patted her a bit. Now, with nothing to do, he felt like he was just wasting his time. The center of mind business did provide some food for thought, but all of that was pretty fragmented and for any information regarding that, he would just check it on a library at another time. With almost nothing to do, he felt like he just wanted to go and break something, just so he can calm himself down a bit.
After feeling bored for a bit, he decided to check his status a bit, just out of curiosity if something new appeared from the center of mind, although he didn't have any hopes.

He didn't expect any stat changes obviously, but the new ability and title definitely grabbed his attention.
[Third Eye: The ability that allows one to see beyond the 5 senses and enter the 6th sense. This ability relies on your insticts and not your stats. Can grow through combat and various situations. No cost.]
'Holy biscuits, that ability is bloody busted. Well, the no cost part is the busted part, but everything else makes it pretty standard.' That was what Soren thought for a bit. But there was one other thing that picked his curiosity.
[%&6$@(;?: Your current self can not comprehend this kind of information. For your safety, this information has been locked until someone else unlocks it.]
'System, who can unlock that ability?' Soren asked with his mind.
[Classified.]
'At least throw me a bone or something. Don't leave me in the dark.' Soren thought to himself. From what he managed to obtain recently, was the third eye and a mysterious title. The title itself is a complete mystery right now so he decided to not bother with it, while the third eye itself will definitely come in handy. Although it relies on instict, it is possible to grow and sharpen it through battle, so given some time, this should be a powerful ability, but right now it can only sense nearby living beings.
'For now let's check it out.' Soren thought before he tried the third eye ability and as he figured out, the third eye was the same as the sixth sense on the black room, but this time it showed 27 beings around him. 24 of them would be Lavenza and the other nobles whi were sitting close by, another two of them were the guards guarding the door, but the last one was at the ceiling, hanging upside down just over the seats.
Soren felt a but suprised that there was someone over him, but he didn't turn his head upwards because he didn't want to raise suspicion. But he did hold Lavenza a bit closer to him this time. He didn't want to arouse suspicion at all, but he still had to say that to someone, while making sure to keep them calm. Thankfully the noble man who he talked with, was actually pretty calm and level-headed, but it could also mean that he might have already noticed it or he might have brought it, hence he wouldn't be suprised, but he had to take this chance, otherwise, who knew what would happen.
"Sir, can I tell you something a bit quickly?" Soren asked the nobleman.
The man himself was quite suprised for a moment and then asked:
"What is it all of a sudden?"
"Actually, can I whisper it you for now? I don't want to start any troubles right now and you seem like a pretty calm person." Soren lowered his voice considerably, so that only the man would hear him.
"Just tell me." The man said back at Soren.
"Alright, but don't be suprised. Actually there is something over us and it seems to be waiting. Also do not turn your head up. The last thimg we want, is to alert the thing." Soren whispered to the man's ear.
The man himself was extremely suprised, since he didn't notice or sense anything out of the ordinary, yet Soren managed to sense that thing. Thankfully, his years of experience allowed him to keep a calm head at all times, even during war and assassinations. Aftervthat he whispered but asked:
"What is your course of action for now?"
"Keep an eye on it. For all we could know, it could be a monster or an assassin. I'm not sure, but for now it is better keep our cool and wait for the thing to appear, rather than trying to engage it and scare it away." Soren whispered to the man.
"Alright. Think you can update girl next to you as well?" The man asked.
"Are you related with her?" Soren asked.
"For now, don't ask questions. I'll explain at another time." The man answered back.
Then Soren decided to update the girl with purple hair next to him.
"Miss may I tell you something?" Soren said quietly near her.
The woman felt a bit weird but went along with it.
"What is it?" The woman asked.
"Don't look up. There is something up there, although I'm not sure what it is, I am sure it is a living being." Soren whispered near her.
At that moment, the woman closed her eyes for an instant and then said:
"I see... Thank you for the info. Have you told anyone else?" The woman asked quietly.
"Just the man next to me. He was the one who told me to tell you." Soren answered back.
"Good. Then stay frosty. Things will get wild in a bit." The woman then opened her eyes.
For a little while after that, Soren was on edge, while keeping his third eye on all the tine since then. The figure moved only slightly to the left or right, but never went down. Soren felt a bit impatient, but he decided to play safe and wait. He knew that if he did something stupid right now, he would be causing a lot of unnecessary trouble that could potentially create a lot of unnecessary danger as well.
"Kyuu~?" Lavenza was confused by seeing Soren being so serious.
"Oh, it's nothing don't worry for now." Soren said to Lavenza. He didn't want so say anything to her for a bit of time, at least until the entity that is there leaves.
"Kyuuuu...~" Lavenza felt left out now and she didn't know the reason for it. She tried looking around to see if there was any cause for her to feel left out and the moment she looked at the ceiling, she noticed that it felt a bit off. She looked at the off part again a bit better and noticed that it looked a bit blurry or distorted. At that moment, she tried to see if she could do the same thing as well as before into the dark room, so she closed her eyes and saw a clear blue sillouhette that was hugging the wall. The sillouhette's details couldn't be fully made out, since everything was covered by a cloth like thing, that covered most of the entity.
At that moment, Lavenza used her tail to try and grab Soren's attention to tell him that something was wrong, but then Soren just put his finger on her mouth and said quietly:
"Shhh... I know. I'll handle it. Just wait."
For a few minutes, it felt that time had stopped for the four of them, but in just one moment, the entity suddenly jumped out and took out a curved and serrated knife and went to cut the man's head. As both the four of them were expecting for the entity to appear, Soren took out immidiately the sword, the man took out a walking cane and both the woman and Lavenza got ready to use spells.
In one instant, the man used his cane to block the attack, Lavenza used a water shot spell to create an opportunity where the assailant would be distracted, the woman used a slowing spell to slow down his reaction time and Soren used this opportunity to disarm the man a pwerful downward slash and then pinned him hard to the floor of the platform, before everyone who was near the area noticed everything that happened.
"QUICK HELP ME PIN HIM DOWN!" Soren said loudly because he knew that he didn't have the power to hold him for long. Thankfully, the guard by the door immidiately snapped away from the trance of witnessing the scene and helped Soren to pin down the assailant.
"Well, that was pretty cool kid." The woman said after both Soren and the guard pinned down the assailant.
