Seeing that the amount of exoerience was almost nothing compared to what he should have actually got, he felt like he could throw up blood at any moment now.
After Soren sat down for a while to rest, recuperate and calm down, the light on the area started to dim down bit by bit, like nighttime is coming and the day is about to end soon enough. 'At least there wasn't any blood spilled, technicaly, but a decent amount of the halls got damaged by the leviathan's rampage.' was Soren's thought on the situation.
"I wonder how deep is this place? 200 feet? 300 feet?"
To finally answer this lingering question on his mind, he decided to ascend as far as he could, but after reaching just 200 feet, he sees a cave ceiling with stalactites and bluish shiny crystals, that were starting to dim and lose their shiny luster. There were a couple that seemed to shine a bit, so he decided to examine the gems.
[Aquatic Lunar stone: An underwater stone that shines brightly under the presence of the moonlight. The presence of other shining Aquatic Lunar stones count as moonlight. Not very valuable and extremely hard to mine.]
[Everglow gem: A shiny gem that shines as long as there is mana around. Depending on the mana around it, it can glow dimly but can glow pretty strongly. A common gem that can be found underground, without much value.]
"So these gems are supposed to be our sourse of daylight, or nightlight in this case since these glow during the night only."
Since he didn't have a way to obtain these gems and the fact that the light was running out, Soren decided to return to the castle and take shelter there for the day. His first course of action was to take the blue egg and the lantern out of the monster's resting place, since he was afraid that the underground area would collapse any minute soon enough. After getting the egg and the lantern out of there, he startet to think about finding a safe to rest. With a shining red lantern on one hand and the blue egg on his other, he started to check the rooms again, to find a suitable one, without having to worry about, collapsing on his head. After a while, he found himself on the spacious room with the big bed. He checked the walls to make sure they didn't have any cracks, which suprisingly they didn't, despite the fact that a rampaging monster nearly destroyed the place. The moment the maintenance check was over, Soren put the egg on the right side of the bed and the lantern on the same side, turned it off and went straight to sleep on the big spacious bed.
A few hours later.
The ceiling of the sea was starting to glow brightly bit by bit and after while, it looked like it was daytime again. Soren woke up at that time, feeling a bit stiff on his arms, but nothing else.
*growl*
"Guess hunger has got me again." Said without much of a reaction.
After eating one of the available Fijouri cans, he started to think for a bit about his next course of action. Then, he remembered that there was the blue egg that he had found yesterday.
'Considering the fact that a dead leviathan was protecting this egg, there is a decent chance that this is a Leviathan egg.' This was his current thought, so he started thinking about hatching the egg or not, but then he realised that animals and beasts all required at least some sort of parental figure, so as long as he's its parental figure, it shouldn't cause much trouble.
The moment he tried to hatch the egg, was the moment where the thought of how to hatch it, dawned on him. So he asked the system.
"System, how do i hatch this egg?" Soren asked. Suddently a blue interface appeared.
[Just pour mana on the egg.]
That lackluster answer made him feel a bit disappointed, but another question came to his head.
"Then, how do i pour mana?"
[Just imagine something warm is leaving out of your hands.]
That answer made him somehow feel even more disappointed than before but decided that it pointless to think about it. In the next moment he closed his eyes, put his hand over the egg and started to imagine hard the warm feeling leaving out of his hand. At the same. moment, some sort of bluish light started to come out of his hand and that light started to thicken a bit like some sort of blue gas that was coming out of his hand that fell on the egg.
*crack*
After a little while, Soren started to feel pretty tired when suddently, cracks started to be heard. He saw that actual cracks were on the egg and suddently even more cracks started to appear, when at that moment, Soren suddently started to feel an immense amount of pain, as if he was constantly being crushed, torn and stabbed all together and started screaming loudly from the pain.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!*
The pain was immeasurable for him and yet, he felt like he was being even more consious of it, like his mind was focusing only on the pain and nothing else. At the same time, his gray hair started to change slowly into a deep azure color. His grey round scales started to change as well to sharp blue scales. His grey eyes also started to change into deep green eyes. After some time, the pain started to subside and at that moment, the egg hatched and a small blue sea serpent with white marks on its body and green eyes came out.
The moment Soren started to feel that his feeling of pain has started to subside, he saw the small serpent, looking pretty sleepy while also looking round when suddently, the little sea serpent locked eyes with Soren. The moment the two of them locked eyes, felt like an eternity to them, but then the sea serpent started swimmimg towards Soren and circled around him.
" Hahaha, hey stop, that is ticklish. He-hey, come on." Said, Soren pretty cheerfully with the sea serpent swimming around him.
After the sea serpent stopped circling around, Soren decided to to check the sea serpent.

Once he read his own titles, he felt like he would have the world's biggest headache, capable of completely breaking people to bits and pieces but decided to calm himself down before checking the baby leviathan's skills.

After reading all of this information, Soren felt like he had a big info dump, straight on his head with almost no time to digest it. He knew he needed some time to process it, but the title "Life-Bound Companions" would definitely give him a lot of trouble later on.
"Kyuu~" The baby leviathan looked a bit confused due to the fact that Soren didn't seem to move at all and started to feel a bit worried.
"Oh, right, the little baby leviathan. You look so cute. I don't know what to name you though." Soren said to the little baby pretty happily after that thinking session. He knew that there was no point in worrying now about the things that have happened, so he decided to put that on the back of his head for now and take care of the little baby. Since he was the one he hatched it, he also had to be responsible for it.
"So what do you want your name to be?" Soren said excitedly.
"Kyuu~?" The little baby looked confused.
"Well you need a name and I can't keep calling you little baby or baby Leviathan. So, of course you need a proper name."
"Kyuu~!" The little baby seemed excited and nodded.
"Alright, then how about Levi for starters?"
"Hmm~" The baby shook its head.
"No dice huh. How about the Leva then?"
"Hmmm~" The baby shook its head again.
"Didn't like that one. How about Levansia?"
"Kyuu~... Hmm~." And again it shook its head.
"Tough one. Then how about Lavenza? It's a nice name."
"Hmmm~... Kyuu~ Kyuu~" The baby nodded its little head.
"Alright your name is Lavenza. My name is Soren and you bet we will have all kinds of crazy adventures." Soren said excitedly.
"Kyuu~! Kyuu~!" Lavenza was shouting with excitement.
