Chapter 9 - Rockwell City

With leaves in her hair cloths slightly a mess she stood outside Rockwell City. 'I could really due for a warm bath… but it wouldn't be the best for my injuries.' Arcin sighed as she dusted the leaves out of her hair. 'Besides I want to see myself in the mirror. Animus mentioned changes… I want to see full well what they've done.' she added as she walked into Rockwell City.

It was a small city with some tall building people walking around and what not to Arcin who worked in the busy city of Starlet and have been to many places around the world it was a quaint little city. She quiet enjoyed the lack of cars. She looked around hands in the pockets of her torn pants. She knew, she likely looked like the walking dead covered in blood and bandages. It wasn't entirely wrong since she did come back from the dead essentially.

She walked down the street noticing a glance or two at her but mainly ignoring the looks. She more wanted a place to rest and wash up so she was looking for a hotel. But she really wasn't sure what to look for here. "Saisako would you be able to help me out? I want a place to rest." Arcin muttered glancing over the small white fox on her shoulder's.

Saisako let out a break like noise but didn't move. "Sigh I should have expected as much." Arcin replied clicking her tongue. As she said that she was passing by a man.

"Are you having a problem miss?"

"Ah?! Yeah I am actually I'm looking for a place to rest."

"Ah you must be a traveler. You must have gone through Chiriko forest to get here it has always given traveler's trouble getting trough."

"Ah yeah there was an incident in the forest as I was crossing through."

"Well there the places travellers can go rest is the Violet Healing Hotel (VHH) also known as the Indagtor Guild Association (IGA). They are free to Indagtors such as yourself or even potential ones as long as you register. You'll be able to find it due to the purple banners and sign."

"Thank you… oh since you know this place well. Is there a place that teaches magic here and a library?"

"There is going too violet will be a big help. It has information and anything an Indagtor needs."

'This Violet Healing Hotel kinda sound like an adventurers guild from games and stories. But going there either way will be useful.' Arcin thought biting her lip slightly. "Thank you very much for the help sir." she said with a slight bow before leaving.

'Since I know what to look for now. I can use the map system and it can lead me to the location.' Arcin muttered as she touched the bracelet on her left wrist bringing up a map that only she could see with her glasses she entered the location the man told her about then saw as directions appeared in front of her eyes.

Arcin followed the directions looking around at the city there was a few large buildings and there was 2 building in particular that caught one was like a large coliseum she looked at it in wonder. The next building was like a mason smaller then Arcin's family home. She looked at for a moment before quickly shaking her head and continuing on, eventually she reached a very large 4 story building with a cathedral like building design. The building itself looked to be made out of marble like stone. It honestly looked nice she saw the purple banner and sign. The building was on the far side of the city, so it didn't clash with the apartments and office building but it was close enough to keep the city safe in case of a large scale beast attack.

Arcin looked at the building for a moment before making her way inside. The main entrance room was very spacious with a large number of tables with people sitting at it. Arcin looked around noticing a large bulletin board people were being loud laughing and the like. 'Woah this is pretty much like an adventures guild from the stories, manga and such. I can't say I'm not excited. There have been times when I was younger I wanted to make the clan house like this. I guess I get to live out that secret dream of mine now.' Arcin chuckled slightly then quickly brought her self in check. She noticed the large like reception desk and made her way over there.

"Hello would I be able to get some help."

"I need you to check your registration first."

'Registration… but I'm not even from this world. I wouldn't have a registration of anything.' Arcin muttered not to mention she wasn't exactly sure how to check her registration.

Then her glasses flickered in front of her eyes and text was written. [Worry not all that has been taken care of you have a false ID and everything. Just turn your bracelet to the black box which is a terminal they will be able to check them.]

'… who ever just sent me that message clearly must be helping me. I'll just have to trust what they've said or else i'll be sleeping on the streets.' Arcin sighed a little annoyed. She didn't like have to blindly trust people it more often than not, leads to betrayal after all that's what caused her to this point in the first place. She blindly trusted and loved Derrick and he not only broke up with her but did so harshly.

Despite this she choose to do as advised and placed her bracelet against the black terminal. When she did that her information appeared above from the black terminal in a holo graphic screen.

[Name: Arcin Lynch

Sex: Female

Age: 23

Home: Terra; Starlet City

Element: ???

Race: Human

Level: 25 (weakened)

Class: Elemental Summoner

Indagtor: rank D]

"Ah so this is your first time here then. For your age your level's not bad however that stats."

"Ah… I was cursed during my travels here. It weakened me a fair amount other than that the stats effect has no other affect."

"I see well we have checked your ID and have confirmed you are a travelling Indagtor what do you need dear?"

"I need a room and some healing."

"For you our your summons?"

"Myself."

"Understood. I'll get you a room and then you can got to the second floor for the medical treatment."

Arcin nodded her head with her arms crossed. She was waiting for the receptionist to return covered in the blood from her wounds making her quiet the sight. 'I think on my why here I reopened some of my injuries. Great. I also will have to check to see if I have any bullets in my wound too.' She thought and couldn't help but let a sigh escape her lips.

'I might not be getting any sleep tonight.' Arcin thought a little annoyed especially with her ankle hurt her the why it is due to running from those attackers back on Terra. 'I know pretty much nothing about this world. Though I need to get back home rushing into this 'guns blazing' is idiotic not to mention not my style.

'But gaining information about this world is the best idea either way cause so far it seems that Animus forgot to mention a fair amount of things to me. Worst of all I don't even know how to use magic or really any skills at the moment. Even with me being like a boss monster, not knowing this is essentially suicided.' she added.

As she was thinking to herself a group of individuals made their way towards the reception desk some wore armour other wore equipment. They had a high and mighty kind of attitude as they walked to the desk and pushed Arcin aside. Causing her to fall and yelp due to her injuries. "Your in the way newbie." the man huffed a smirk on his face clearly enjoying pushing her to the ground.

This ticked Arcin off, it's been a long time since she has been treated like this. "Pfff! Hahahah! Hahahah!" Arcin begun to laugh her body shaking as a dark aura begun to be released from her her long hair covering her eyes as she glared at the party that pushed her over.

The man felt the cold killing intent pointed at him. It was almost suffocation to those around Arcin due to her killing intent and true mana and power being shown at that moment. "M-m-miss Lynch I've g-got your r-r-room a-all r-r-ready f-f-for you j-just place your X-telelet on the b-black terminal. I-i-its 406." The receptionist stuttered. This branch was for normally lower-level people to someone like Arcin was a rare occurrence, not to mention she's never met one this irritated.

Arcin got to her feet and placed her bracelet on the black terminal received the code rights to open the room door before she made her way to the elevator. As the doors where closing she looked up sending a death glare at the part with her silvery crystal eyes with an ice blue ring around the iris'.
