When Arcin opened her eyes she is surrounded by darkness. 'Is this what death is? I thought it would be like an underworld. Ah, if those Christians and Baptists were right about what happens when we die... I was sure I'd be in hell. I was hoping to get to see him again. But how boring to be trapped in darkness.' Arcin thought looking around it was little a dark room... similar to the dungeon she was trapped in the last few days. 'I feel bad for Ren. Taking over for me. He's a few years younger than when I took over... he's not even as trained as me the transition won't be smooth... especially since that's what Inova been waiting for... but everyone in the organization despises her. Ah, I also hope they find my body cause otherwise they think I'm alive and keep looking for me till Ren dies.' she continued on as she looked down at the tattoo on her wrist.
Arcin made the design when she was in her early teens, and showed it to her father. It was a striking black flowing design, her father liked it so much that he made it the mark for the underground portion of the organization it became the Lynch clans mark. It essentially her father's way of staying to everyone that Arcin was the hire of the organization. Everyone took it well her own personal squad was very pleased, Arcin remembers how they all got it tattooed together. "Sigh... I'm actually missing those idiots. I didn't get to say good-bye. I wish I told them that Derrick broke up with me. Then they'd personally break at least one of his legs... a light punishment for breaking a promise with me... and hurting me in such away. Too bad they were still on a mission." Arcin chuckled lightly as she touched her right wrist.
'It's been a hard life... one which was not the best considering societal conventions. But it was okay. I got to do what I wanted for the most part even though it was hard. My only real regret was loving Derrick, and leaving behind my team... also maybe... not getting to do more in my life... I was so focused on helping Derrick I didn't get to live |my| life.' Arcin sighed smiling slightly.
"If you had a chance to live, do more as you say would you take it?" A mysterious ambiguous voice asked. Arcin looked around trying to find who was the one talking. But there was no one Arcin could see no one around her. "Answer. If you could continue living would you take it?"
Arcin bit her lip slightly she didn't mind dying, with what she truly did in life she was more than prepared for it to happen one day. But how could she say she was fine dying? She wasn't even half her father's age, she had things she wanted to do. She remembered her father's words that he told her. 'Live for yourself not anyone else. Do what you want to do with your life. I know I haven't been the best father but please take this piece of advice to live your life, my princess.'
'Hah! Why did I remember those words now? No, I know why. It's cause father doesn't want me to die. He wants me to live, have children. He wants me to be myself and do things for myself something I haven't done for some time.' Arcin laughed looking up. "Yes of course I would take it! With such a chance I will live as I want."
"Haha! How lovely just what I wanted to hear. You truly are perfect! You are a perfect match for me, not only is your mana right your soul resonates with me! You have a burning spirit, one that won't be misled after having it happen once. Someone that can adapt. The exact kind of person I've been looking for, in all these years." The mysterious ambiguous voice laughed. "I wish I found you sooner but you were somewhere I did not expect. Everything is perfect I'm sure you are my avatar. The avatar of anima... of spirit/soul!"
"Ah right... Anyway how can you help me?"
"I have something that can do everything that you currently wish."
"Eh?! Everything."
"Nearly everything. It won't make it so you can hurt that human Derrick... I think that's what you called him."
"Alright tell me what is it what I want aside from a chance to live."
"You want to travel, to be free and not tied down to a single place. You wish to travel, especially to get over what happened to shake your soul. You hope to be able to love one day. You want to be something more. I can give you that chance, to be able to return home, and still have that chance even after you return home." The mysterious ambiguous voice said. "Like spirit, you do not like to be trapped but also have the sense to fulfil an obligation. Something people no one but does not necessarily process for themself to be able to use. However, you are the exception to that, the first-ever to have something that no one was supposed to be able to possess. So young one tell me who you are. Introduce yourself to me to start our new bond. Your contract with me."
Arcin thought for a second but didn't have to think long as something told her inside herself that she needed to take this as if it was something that she had been missing. She clenches her fist letting out a slight huff.
"Alright them but I hope you don't regret it after learning cause I won't let you go afterwards." Arcin let out a low laugh smirking and a slight glint in her eyes.
"I am Arcin Rina Lynch, officially I am a graphic designer, along with the young and successful CEO of the Trandecient cooperation that does everything. Unofficially I'm the boss of the infamous Lynch clan the most powerful clan in the western continent, the untouchable leader that you never to cross. A loyal friend and powerful ally with a free spirit. A woman said to be so ice-cold to have ice in my veins. The kind of person you'd never want to be your enemy as I can and will do anything. Someone that is known to be dangerous even without back-up. Along with the woman that was just dumped a few days ago." Arcin stated. "Considering how I'm not a balling mess like most girls probably be after breaking up only 5 days. The ice-cold part makes sense to me." She added.
"I see Mistress Arcin Rina Lynch nice to meet you. I am Animus the god of Spirit... you can also call me the god almighty."
