~ A few minutes earlier ~
While Avalon was in the mass hall facing up against Capt Fischer. Lukas in his office suddenly felt an odd chill. He could sense the energy that Avalon was releasing the raw power that was seeping out. Lukas could sense it, everything in his body told him that there was a dangerous and powerful being nearby. He never encountered such a thing before sending a slight chill down his spine (an instinctual fear). 'What the hell is this?' Lukas questioned looking around the room, before getting up from his desk and leaving his office to find the source of this energy.
On his way to the mess hall, he ran into Lt. Maxwell Barlow and Capt Josh Hawkins carrying the unconscious Cat Fischer by his arms and legs. "Captain!" Lt Barlow exclaimed dropping Capt Fischer's arms, Capt Hawkins did the same and saluted Lukas.
"Care to explained what happened?"
The two looked at each other hasted to say what happened in the mess hall. Avalon had truly surprised and frightened them. Not sure if it would be smart to tell the captain of the unit.
Lukas looked at the unconscious man and noticed bruises that had begun to form. "Who beat him up?" Lukas asked in a monotone voice. Causing the two to flinch.
"Ah… It was 2Lt Liman."
"2Lt Liman? You sure?"
"Yes, sir captain however I can not say I blame 2Lt Liman's actions." Lt Barlow replied.
"Explain."
"For the past few days Capt Fischer has been harassing the 2Lt, however, he was not reacting at all… so today Capt Fischer decided to target the 2nd Lieutenant's friend Lt. Padilla. At the start, it was fine nothing was any different. However, Capt Fischer went a little too far and begun to attack Padilla for where he was from and saying some slurs and such. Even went as far as talking about Keyne's and Bridni… He also implied that Keyne's should be purged."
"When he said those things it pissed off the 2Lt. He's normally all soft and such it was surprising when he suddenly changed. The 2Lt requested Capt Fischer to retract his remarks. Fischer took his chance since he got a reaction from Liman, instead he enforced it and out loud said that the Keyne district should be purged."
"Liman snapped and took up Fischer on his desire to fight him. Liman was almost like a different person… even Padilla was fearful of how Liman was acting. Liman was now provoking Fischer… He gave Fischer a chance to end it."
"Fischer had to knock Liman out. As he said otherwise he was done for. We thought it was a joke. But Liman took the full brunt of Fischer's attack in the jaw. He got up as if it was nothing before going in for the attack. It ended with Liman knocking Fischer unconscious and telling someone to take Fischer to the infirmary."
Lukas was suspicious of what the two just told him but allowed them to take Fischer to the infirmary. 'Lt Padilla, I could believe having a chance on knocking Fischer out like that… but Liman? I'm not sure he had trouble running with 40 kg in his backpack.' Lukas thought but as he continued to follow the odd energy he felt he noticed two figures. The one figure was howling out and rage and kicked a rock even moving it. He couldn't hear what the two were saying but something told him it was best for him to stay back for the moment.
After a few moments, the raging person calmed down and leaned against the rock. Lukas could tell the energy was coming from the one that was leaning against the rock, and then the energy that chilled him completely disappeared as if it never happened. Lukas noticed the second figure also relaxed the moment the energy disappeared. He couldn't hear what they were saying but then the first figure stumbled.
The two figure's stop with each other talking then begun making their way in the general direction that Lukas was. They were heading towards the bunks, the first figure was leaning against the second stumbling slightly. As they came closer Lukas was surprised to see Antonio and 'Roan' with Roan leaning against Antonio for support, slight blood on his lip and his face deathly pale and was getting worse by the second.

As the daylight began to fade and the sun was beginning to set Avalon was having more and more trouble to remain standing and conscious. "We are almost there." Antonio muttered as they began making their way up the stairs. Avalon's leg's failed her once again on the stairs causing her to fall but thanks to Antonio she didn't fall back down the stairs.
"Sorry, it is getting hard as the night draws near."
"It's fine. We should hurry before someone sees."
"You're… right." Avalon replied having slight difficulty speaking now.
Antonio quickly picked her up in his arms and raced towards her room forcing the door open and placing her down on the bed. She tilted her head to the side and gave Antonio a slight smile before closing her eyes. As the night began to approach and the sun begun to set Avalon stopped moving entirely.
Antonio could remember the first time this happen years ago. Everyone was freaking out. Everyone thought she was dead… but that wasn't the case or at least not entirely. He didn't change her clothing or anything to her rather he just closed Avalon's door behind him and begun to make his way from her room.
Antonio was planning on leaving however Lukas had appeared from the stairs in front of him. "S-Sir! What are you doing here?!" Antonio exclaimed surprised.
"Where is 2Lt Liman?"
"I-I have no idea, sir!"
"No point lying I saw you helping him back to barracks. If he is injured he should just go to the infirmary."
"… S-… h-he's alright just wasn't feeling too good so he wanted to rest."
"I heard about what happened in the mess hall."
Antonio's face palled slightly. 'If the captain saw Avalon right now it would be a serious problem. I need to stall at the very least.' Antonio thought. "I-I see. Is he in trouble?"
"I haven't decided."
"He was just trying to defend me and Keyne's. Capt Fischer said that Keyne's should be purged. Roan… he is… well that comment was a little too much. Please if you are going to punish him… punish me as well." Antonio muttered. 'Avalon has never told me the exact reason she gets so aggravated over such comments. But I have a feeling it likely has something too due with something that happened in her past life.' Antonio thought glancing over at Avalon's door.
"The two of you are very close."
"Yes… we have known each other for quite some time. He's also helped me on a fair number of occasions, if I ever needed to I would die for him. Though I know he wouldn't want that."
"Such devotion."
"… When you are from Bridni, when you trust someone it is not something simple or broken. You would be prepared to die for one another." Antonio answered.
