This is Luka, and I have no idea what's going on. I am at an unfamiliar place, and by an unfamiliar place, I mean a really unfamiliar place.
Wherever my gaze falls, I see dead bodies, and none of them are in one piece.
Swords are sticking up on the horizon.
There are thousands of dead bodies, thousands of swords, and the smell of... stinking blood.
Just what the hell is this place? Is this a dream?
I walked further ahead and saw thousands of people fighting each other. They were wearing different attires, same attires but different colors.
Is this some kind of war between kingdoms?
There were men and women, young and older people.
It looked more like an army of soldiers of three or more kingdoms.
I walked further ahead to see the same scenery again.
Suddenly I sensed something or someone coming in my direction.
Every cell of my body was having goosebumps. I was shivering as if my body was scared of what was coming at me.
Can they see me?
"I will kill you! I swear I will kill you!"
I heard the voice, but couldn't see anyone.
As I glanced around, someone kicked me out of nowhere, and I fell off the cliff where those people were fighting.
What the hell was that?!
I couldn't even see who it was. It was so fast and happened in a frame of seconds that I couldn't even react.
"I will kill you!"
This time, I was sure the voice was coming from behind.
I hesitantly looked back and saw a man. He looked the same age as me.
He had a sword in his hand. It was shining brightly, and it was coated red with blood.
He must have killed many people here, but... what does he want from me? Isn't this a dream? Why does it hurt so much?
He glared at me as he squinted his eyes and dashed at me with the sword pointed at me.
He is fast! He is so fast that I don't even have time to react.
Shit! I can't dodge it. I need something to block his attack.
There were hundreds of swords sticking up on the ground. The best I could do was grab the sword near me and try to block it.
I ran towards the nearest sword and pulled out the sword from the ground, but as soon as I took it out from the ground... it turned into ash.
'Hu..h?'
"I will kill you!"
He kept attacking me with his full strength. I was barely dodging his attacks.
His every swing was so fast that I could hear the air around me getting slashed.
After that, I don't even remember how many swords I took out from the ground, and every sword I touched turned into ash.
'What am I supposed to do now?'
I was panting so hard, and I was out of breath at that point.
I couldn't run anymore, but I had to run.
'Someone… someone please wake me up from this dream.'
He kept attacking me, and I kept running.
Taking out any sword to block his attacks was futile at this point because every sword... turned into ashes.
"I will kill you!"
Yeah... you will kill me.
Maybe it's better to give up on running away and saving my life? Maybe I should just die.
Maybe I will wake up after this?
It's impossible to fight without a sword, and even if I had a sword... I don't think I could defeat him.
I was so focused on saving myself that I forgot the count of how many dead bodies I passed.
I forgot about the reeking stench of rotting corpses.
How long had they been fighting? Who are these people? And who is this guy trying to kill me?
'Why am I having such a nightmare?'
'I just want to dream about Ana'
'I want to dream about Ana chasing me with her arms wide open to hug me. Not some crazy guy who wants to cut me down.'
As he was about to stab me in the back, I grabbed the sword in front of me for the last time that was buried half into the Horizon and was a little tilted towards me.
It was an unusual sword. I felt as if it was calling my name.
It was shining brightly, and the hilt of the sword had three stripes, red, blue, and green.
I grabbed the sword as I screamed, 'Please don't turn in the ash!'
The sword didn't turn into ash, but I was unable to block the attack.
He stabbed me in the back. It felt as if my soul was being sucked by his sword.
Everything around me felt so slow and dizzy.
I could feel the pain... it hurts... it hurts ...it hurts.
'It hurts so much. Everything is burning'
At that time, I finally realized... no, I should have realized sooner that, 'This is not a dream.'
The man pulled out the sword from my body and raised his sword to attack me again.
I wasn't sure if I could block it or not, but regardless, I tried to block it. I didn't want to feel the same pain again.
