Aaron's sword parted the wolf in half. It's screams rang out through the forest as it's blood sprayed onto the dark trees and emerald grass.
"YEESSSSS WE DID ITTTT!!!!" Aaron's teammates yelled as they rejoiced.

"Hey Aaron, how come you got a quest. Share it with the rest of us." A bald Russian man said to me. His name was Demetri and for the tank of the group he was pretty good.
"Wait gimme a sec ya bald prick, I'm checking it" Aaron replied with joy in his voice.

"Haha Demetri, get fucked. Ima be one of those inheritors that the Haven trailers teased. And I can't share it with you because it's a solo quest!" Aaron had a massive grin on his face as he chuckled at the shiny headed bald man. The Russian got more and more angry at Aaron's incessant teasing and his head started to become as red as a ballon. One that's red of course, but like a kinda dark red.
"I'm gonna kill you, American scum" Demetri screamed as he rushed towards Aaron with his shield (his main weapon) extended.
Just before the two men collided, Aaron twisted his body around the man like a snake. He narrowly dodged the bulldozer of a man and planted his sword in Demetri's side. The bald Russian screamed in pain, even with the level of pain set to only 20%, being stabbed was pretty painful.

The attack was clean and quick. It cleanly shaved off 10% of Demetri's health and acted as a warning.
"Don't try that again or you will lose a level" Aaron said with a serious look on his face.
From the very beginning of his time in Haven, Aaron was one of the strongest. In fact he was second on the Player Leaderboard; but even this wasn't enough to satiate his hunger for power. See, Aaron was raised as a part of the Blazer family; his family owned nearly 60% of all companies in New USA and was not used to being second place.
Aaron had begged and begged his father to allow him to play Haven, but there was one condition. He had to be first.
Alpheus Blazer, Aaron's father, only wanted his son to be the best. From a very young age, he was forced to train both physically and mentally. The young boy was groomed to be the best, and he always met his father's expectations, even if it came at the cost of his own body. One time, during a football match, Aaron broke his shoulder but continued playing until he end of the game so his father wouldn't think him weak. He was forced to stay in bed for weeks, but his father was proud so it made Aaron feel a bit better.
Aaron believed he could use this game to finally be the best and have a childhood, but in order for his father to let him play he had to be the best. Unfortunately, Aaron was always second place due to that player, Izroth. But he now had a chance to pull ahead, with an inheritance quest he would be able to gain sooo much XP really quickly. It also meant that he would surpass Izroth in level, with the increased power he would be able to fight a larger amount of creatures and therefore gain more XP. Aaron was constantly trying to become better and stronger than anyone else, little did he know that Izroth was also on a quest to be an inheritor.
Aaron waved a hand at the rest of his teammates, "let's go before the boss respawns, but first, let's loot"
Walking towards the corpse of the Fenrir, Aaron's silver armour glinted in the low light of the cave. His blonde hair covered his eyes as he bent down to place a hand on the body.

"The loot we got is amazing guys, I'll divide everything between the five of us. But there is a quest item, who should get it?"
As the first to kill the Fenrir it automatically gave the best possible loot, the head of the Fenrir was just a decorative piece but many poachers who came to this game to hunt rare animals would pay a pretty penny for it.
"Dude, you landed the final hit on the beast, you should get the quest piece" said Ling.
Ling was someone Aaron had met in high school and they had been friends since they first saw each other. Only Ling was aware of Aaron's family, the others were just random people he found in game.
The others in the group seemed annoyed that Aaron was getting the piece, but couldn't help but agree with Ling.

Info: The mighty Fenrir had been kept captive in this dungeon for eons before you showed up. But even in death it wishes to cause more death and carnage. By completing the chain quest you will gain the right to continue the Fenrir's Legacy

Kill 1000 beasts/ sentient creatures over 5 levels higher than your own
Drink 10 litres of wolf blood
Rewards: A Class Legacy of the Chained Beast

Aaron was delighted, not only did he have the chance to be an Inheritor he also would be a legacy holder.
According to the Haven wiki, a legacy was a skill set and weapon that a very strong being left behind for the newer generation. So if Aaron completed his quest, he would gain a powerful weapon and extremely broken skills for this point of the game and it wouldn't affect him being an Inheritor.
This was amazing, he would be the first person to get a legacy and become an Inheritor; Izroth wouldn't stay on top for long.
With a smile on his face and delight in his soul, he made his way out of the dungeon to work on his Legacy quest.
