*Jousha- A hypothetical conversation that is compulsively played out in your head.
CYRA
When the little tigress left the gym, I couldn't stop smiling. I know she must have been feeling hella embarrassed but it was okay, I'm glad I got to give payback to her. I wasn't even that embarrassed yesterday when she hit me in front of the class, but I'll tell you who felt embarrassed, Genevieve, that's who. She was embarrassed because she ran with me and my group, and she thought to make it her mission to tell me how she felt about it in the fourth period as I blankly stared at her, then proceeded to say whatever as I wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying.
I hated having her in any of my classes. But you know who I loved having in my class, it was the little tigress. In the first period, I chose not to sit next to her, as she would have wanted to apologize and I wouldn't have been able to do anything. And as she sat down, looking worried as hell, I'd bet my last dollar that I was the cause of those worried lines on her forehead, and seriously, call me a masochist for loving that little fact.
But really, I was slowly biding my time, watching her, like a lion would his prey, until I'd catch her off guard and strike when the opportunity presented itself. And that's exactly what happened in the gym. I smile again, my boys laughing with me.
As lunch came around, I got myself a strawberry juice and strawberry flavored muffin, downing it in three big bites. Then I happened to casually look around only to catch the little tigress with Dora and their little pack of friends just as a guy stood up pointing to her and announcing to the whole cafeteria that she was the girl who couldn't wait to do the pushups earlier in the gym. Everyone burst out laughing, me only smiling, I didn't know things would turn out so much in my favor, I made a mental note to give that guy a compliment.
Looking back at her, I catch her eyes, sending a smirk her way as she presents me with her adorable scowls. I laughed, a few more times we ended up like that, until she got up in a fit of anger, clearly having no destination in mind, until she stopped at the pie stand, pretty obvious that she's going to get a pie. But then again why would she need a pie? I thought, scratching at my chin and jaw.
I know what you're thinking, I'm an absolute dumbass for asking a question like that, because why else would someone get a pie unless they were planning to eat it. Except, she looked too happy getting it, I didn't like that smile, it was devious. And that's when it hit me. I smiled; she was going to retaliate. If anything, I was proud of her, and if I remember, there's another reason someone would get a pie, it was if they wanted to pie someone's face, someone being me in this case, obviously.
But I didn't care, call me an intuitive bastard but I knew exactly how this was going down, and what she didn't know was that the cards were in my hands, not her hands. The only way this was going to play out, was how I wanted it to. Victory tasted so damn sweet, it was Jousha, as soon as the smile hit her face, I went through the entire scenario of how it was all going to play out. It was almost too good to forget any of the lines I had said to her telepathically in my head.
Turning back around, I told my boys what was about to go down, as I waited for her to approach me, acting like I didn't even know what was about to happen. Feeling her hands on my shoulders, she says my name, turning around to look at her as I start to stand, towering over her tiny little frame.
She probably didn't even notice since she was so caught up in what she was doing, that we already had on lookers. She pauses, looking at my chest, then looked straight up into my face, the smile gone, she looked to be in thought for about two seconds before, smiling again, showing her teeth and all, if anything, I cannot believe I'm even saying, but she looks adorably creepy smiling like she is.
I know for a fact that maybe it was my height that had her second guessing, she must have realized that she could no longer pie me in the face, so my chest would have to do, and how coincidentally was it that she happened to also have out of every flavor, strawberry pie with the fruit topping.
"Heard you like strawberry pie, so I thought to bring one over," smiling at her, I say in a fake surprised tone, holding my hand to my heart, "Huh, Really, all that strawberry pie for me, here give it!" holding my hands out for her to place it in, even though I knew she wouldn't have. I felt so smug when she dumped the container of the pie into my crisp white tee, we both watched as it slowly slipped down making a mess in its wake, as it goes, before finally dropping to the floor with a clank, and if everyone wasn't looking all the while, we sure as hell had all their attention on us now.
Looking at her, finding that she is already smiling up at me, probably pleased by what she'd just done, I start to smile, giving a devious little grin to her, showing my teeth and all. Then grabbing her shoulders, I watch her face morphed into one of pure horror, the smile completely wiped off, as I pull her body to me, "awh, how lovely the gift was, thank you, but please, let me repay you."
If she didn't have her face up as she was looking at me, her face would have been squashed to my chest, right into the pie. And I don't think she would have been too happy about that, not that was right now either, but I wasn't done.
Keeping a hold of her with one hand on her shoulder, I pull away slightly enough for me to grab the bottle of juice. Looking back at her, I say "What's strawberry pie, without some strawberry juice?" Then I upturned the bottle onto her head, soaking her from her hair to her sneakers.
As she reached up on her tippy toes, she grabbed the bottle from my hands and moved around me so quickly, I missed her intention. Climbing up on my seat, she emptied the rest of the bottle over my head.
Shocked gasps were heard around us, a few students filled with wide eyed horror about what was happening, but I didn't care in the least, we both knew I won this round no matter the fact that she got to me first.
As she comes back in front of me, she says, "Thanks you're right, strawberry pie is no good without strawberry juice." This girl was full of surprises, she just kept on surprising me every time, we came into contact. We ended up in a staring contest as we were both dripping strawberry juice from the tips of our hair, and strawberry pie on our shirts. Man, look at the mess we created, I could tell we were very creative individuals, making art with food, amazing.
Dora and her friends came, pulling the tigress away, breaking our visual contact with each other's eyes, and putting a dent in my thoughts, stopping them from going on more imaginative adventures.
I'm sure they must have been going to the girl's bathroom, to get cleaned up, and yet this wasn't over, I wasn't done with her. Smiling to my boys, we head to the principal's office, going just as I am, with everyone's eyes on me as I pass them.
Reaching his office, I put on my game face, then knocked on his door, before his assistant let me in. I filled her in on what happened and how I look the way I am right now. I told her that the new girl somehow had a beef with me, and that, because of some misunderstanding from yesterday, she blames me for it, and decided to retaliate in this way. I also explained that with the anger I was in, I just couldn't stand and watch him insult me so I was forced to do the same to her, and I would humbly accept whatever punishment I had to face.
Safe to say they believed me, and as I followed the principal and his assistant to the girl's bathroom, sneakily smiling to myself, I saw her, coming out straight at us with her friends, Dora included.
And the look she had on her face as the reality of what was about to happen dawned on her face, I wanted to laugh so hard, but they would know that I lied, and I was really looking forward to some trouble so there was no way I'd mess that up.
We were about to have some quality time together hopefully, and I could tell there was no one dreading that more than Dora that her friend was going to be stuck with her absolutely deviously handsome brother. I smiled at her, as she scowled back at me, softening her look, pleading with her eyes for me to let her friend go, but I wouldn't.
