Dyllis went deeper into the cave only to find the pearl elephant in a deep sleep, chucking to herself she sat a bit far away from it as the timer finally ticked to 0. A pulsing pain knocked at her skull as if something was trying to burst out of her skull.
It was like a million needles were stabbing at the same spot over and over again, she felt like shoving her fingers into her eyes and tearing them out. She didn't want to do so, so she could only clench her teeth as she grimaced through the pain.
A loud crack was heard as an overwhelming pain surge through her forehead, unable to bear the pain any longer she slumped over and fainted. A familiar view came into mind the darkroom with the tea table and the system Ai Scrolling through lists. The ai had a cloudy look in her eyes as she stopped scrolling.
"Hey, system how long was I asleep?" she couldn't help but ask, the system remained quiet deep in thought before replying "Host has been asleep for a year" It replied. Her mind raced thinking about the last message she had seen before waking up in the starving state, It said she would get a few levels for the wasted time while the system was being upgraded. Who would have known she would've been upgraded to the next level of the wendigo.
Another thought has struck her, Tobca has been waiting for her to wake up for a whole year while she was in her coma-like state, Dyllis felt even more so guilty. She had tried eating her lover after all she had done while staying by her side. She knew it ain't really her fault but that doesn't mean she wouldn't feel guilty, Tobca didn't blame her and she seemed pretty happy that Dyllis can talk now.
"System is anything gonna change?" she couldn't help but ask "You will find out when you wake up host, the things that will change your body differ from one to another" It replied emotionless. Thinking about what it just said, there are others similar to her without the system probably.
The world around her started to add away before she knew it she had woken up with a large elephant trunk holding onto her body "Pearl I am fine" She called out to the huge elephant, the elephant made of pearls unwrapped her from its trunk. The elephant eyed her when she called it Pearl as Dyllis had never given her a name before.
Some happiness has shown through her beady black eyes, it nudged at Dyllis to show how happy it was to be given a name after all the time it had been with her. Dyllis smiled at the excited elephant as a sudden uncomfortable feeling came over her, she started feeling her lower back.
Finally getting a grip on what was making her uncomfortable it was a small furry tail that pointed upwards.
"The fuck I grew a tail! I was expecting to grow horns or something but a tail?" She exclaimed, Pearl looked at its master freaking about having a tail, titling its huge head confuse. A few minutes later she finished her freak-out session and accepted she has a deer tail now.
She padded the confused elephant's large head "Wanna go for a walk?" The large elephant got up and patted dyllis head with its trunk gently not wanting to break her.
It slowly stomps out from the deeper parts of the cave being careful to dodge some of the sharper stones in the ceiling, dyllis followed right behind the huge elephant all the way out of the cave.
A luscious scenery assaulted Dyllis eyes as the sun hung high up in the sky, she let out a light chuckle "I forgot we were in the forest" she said to herself as the other day was a blur to her. Dyllis heard a fire crackling a little bit away only to find Tobca cooking a large crocodile-like creature, it had large eagle-sized wings. Right behind Tobca laid thousands of blue scales, they looked a lot like diamonds.
"Babe, can I have these scales?" Dyllis asked the water fae as she picked up one of them seeing if they are compatible with anything in the craft section of her system. "Sure, what are you going to use them for?" Tobca couldn't help but ask the cannibal.
Dyllis hum thoughtfully before replying "I want to make something" Dyllis replied to the fae, Tobca then remembers something else "You can use the feathers as well in that Carry pole" tobca said without a second thought. Dyllis put all the feathers and scales into her inventory.
"Tobca I am gonna go for a walk with pearl here," Dyllis said, Tobca looked over towards the large elephant "So you have finally named it, it was boring just calling it elephant" Tobca commented. Dyllis could only laugh slightly at that comment before wandering off with Pearl.
Soon enough they found themselves at a large pond, that had a few Koi fishes in it. Pearl jumped into the pond and relaxed as it tooted its trunk in pleasure at the cold water. After that, the elephant stuck its trunk in the water slurping some water up before spraying the water out of its trunk onto the cannibal.
"Pearl you naughty elephant! Fine, I'll join you!" She took off her wet clothing and put them on a low branch for them to dry. Leaving her undergarments on as she enters the pool of cold water. Dyllis splash some water at pearl and pearl sprayed water at Dyllis.
They felt a rumble vibrate thought-out the pound "Wait don't tell this is a magical beas-" Before she could finish her sentence a huge golden jaw came out of the water swooping both Dyllis and Pearl into its maw. With a large bump on its golden head, it dived back down deep into the pound bottom.
