A little ding went off as soon as she entered the clothing store, it had plenty of dresses and shirts as well as pants. Going off to the right side of the store she looked for a cloak to help hide features and Tobca as well since her blue skin is pretty noticeable.
Noticing the little red icon at the corner of her eyesight she opens it up, a small ding was heard, reading the content it just said she gained fifty more exp. Since it was nothing important she closed the window and continued searching around, a brown-haired lady approaches her "Miss what are you looking for?" turning around a little bit startled by the voice behind her.
She covered her face then made whooshing motions from the top of her head, she did it quite a few times hoping the lady will understand. She seemed in deep thought before speaking "You want something that can hide your face and the rest of your body?" she asked questionably, Dyllis nodded her head.
The brown hair lady went into the back of the store and took her sweet time as she rummages around in the back. Her finally coming out from behind the door she holds up two cloaks one was red while the other was blue "Something like these?" she asked.
Dyllis inspected the cloaks before putting one on "I can't even see your eyes now darling" the shopkeeper commented, Dyliis jump up for joy before pulling down her hood, she made gestures she will pay for both of them. The lady with brown hair spoke her price "five copper coins each, it is a discount since it has been in the back forever" Dyllis nodded agreeing to the price, pulling out ten copper coins she paid the lady and left in a hurry to go see Tobca since she is a bit worried for her.
By the edge of the forest, she heard a faint snore from above. Looking up she saw the blue fae peacefully asleep, smiling at her sleeping form she decided to climb up the tree as well and went to sleep on the other branch.
Opening her eyes her version blurred quite a bit she blinked quite a lot, her eyes landed on the blue face girl that had the look of mischief, looking in her right hand she holds onto a very muscular arm with a guild tattoo. "Here is something for you to eat," she said as she drops the arm, Dyllis shot herself off the tree branch to grab the arm.
It ended up in her mouth as she plummets to the ground, the water fae laughter crackled throughout the whole forest "You act so much like a dog" she kept laughing while mocking the poor girl as she ate the arm like a starving beast.
Pouting while a ding rang in her head saying she earned ten exp leaving her exp bar at (60/200) till next level. Remembering something she pulled out the cloak for her inventory, the fae came down from the high branch to take the cloak "Are you trying to hide my beauty from everyone so you won't get jealous?" she asks semi-serious, Dyllis face went beat red.
She turned away from the fae as the water fae chuckled at her embarrassment, pulling her hood back over her head. The blue girl put on her cloak happily to receive something from the 'cute' creature that feeds on human flesh.
Tobca had gained an interest in the weird creature, it acted a lot like a human but wasn't a human at all even though it had a tad bit of human smell. She had concluded she liked Dyllis like a little pet, the wendigo had no idea what the other thoughts were about her.
Dyllis turned around to see she had put on her blue cloak which made her happy since now they can go into town together. Grabbing Tobca hand she dragged the girl into town to get her to sign up for the guild so they could make a party and share profits. It would make it a lot easier and if they were to both go on different missions they would be making more money.
Plus she wanted to explore a different place cause this small rundown town ain't gonna be able to support her growing appetite for human flesh. A question came to her mind 'Hey system Can I eat Goblins since they are part human since I know for sure they mate with a human female' waiting for a few minutes as she continued holding the other hand as they walked into town.
A few judgemental gazes pass their way as they hold hands even though the townspeople couldn't see their faces they could tell by a signal glance at their hands that they were both young ladies.
Dyllis sweated nervously not letting the peoples gaze undetected 'Why are they so hostile to us?' she thought as she hadn't done these people wrong. The system voice sounded in her head 'Yes you can eat goblins but you will only get half of the exp you usually get when eating a full human being' nodding her head slightly in understatement.
She walked into the guild with Tobca and walked up to the desk with her even though it's the dead of the night only one person remained inside the building and it was the male attendant "Hello what can I do for you too?" he asked with a polite smile.
Nudging The water fae next to her to speak, the fae hesitated before looking at Dyllis. Sighing she pulled out her card and pointed at it than pointing at the guy, understanding what she was trying to say she spoke in a light and fluffy voice.
"I would like to sign up for the guild" when she finished speaking the attendant's eyes light up as the guild was getting another member, he pulled out the papers for her to sign with the quill pen. In cursive writing, she wrote all the needed information stating she was half human and half fae.
After handing it back to the guy as he briefly looked over it a bit surprised that the person before him was only half-human. But they were still part human so it wasn't any trouble for the guild to take them in "Miss follow me to the back and we will check your attribute" he explained, Tobca recurrently let go of Dyllis cold hands feeling the sense of safety leave her as she went to get tested.
About twenty minutes later she came back, she went back to Dyllis to grab her hand under the cloak to regain that sense of safety while in a place full of dreadful humans.
Looking at the two acting like young lovers he couldn't help but ask "Do you guys want to form a party?" Dyllis nodded her head before pulling out the goblin quest and pointed at the quest as to ask 'in where the heck part of the woods do I find these things'
"They usually get find in underground caves and can be pretty huge don't forget to kill all them even the children or it will only bite you in the butt, its usually on the east side of the forest that surrounds this small town" Explaining needed information she walked with Tobca hand in hand out the door even though everyone glared at them, some people were outside that night so it was quite unexpected.
Tobca felt a bit uncomfortable with their gazes on her like that, she was used to the look of fear that humans usually had when they saw her face, she was used to them begging on their knees to let them live for the next day.
Long story short Tobca is a sadist that liked to see people suffer and finds great joy in it. Walking out of the town Dyllis let go of Tobca hand and started running at full speed towards East using her sniffer to find the goblins' cause that would be her best bet since her nose is like a hound.
Tobca kept up with her till Dyllis made a sudden stop outside a small looking cave, trying to stop in time Tobca crashed into a tree causing a loud thud, being a bit worried she passed a glace to see she crash into a tree.
Making her way to the Water Fae she picked up princess style as her world was still spinning around her. When Tobca world stopped turning her gaze landed on the red hooded figure, a breeze pushes the hood off that was covering her facial features.
Her face turning a hue of purple she rolled out of Dyllis arms instantly feeling her heart race from being so close to the other. Smiling at Tobca who blue place was a bit purple she poked at her face as in saying 'Is everything alright with your face, it changes colour'
Getting embarrassed she pulled her blue hood over her head to hide her purple face.
