Dyllis and Tobca went on different quests around the town and made some extra money currently giving them roughly 70 copper coins. When they head back to the guild they flopped onto the bed, it wasn't the best quality kind of bed but it did its job.
Tobca would often complain about how hard the bed was but Dyllis on the other hand could care less about the bed quilty. Dyllis and Tobca walked out of the guild and walked to the nearest stand that was selling skin powder and concealer. They bought that from that stand for 10 copper coins then they went to another to get a nice light blue Kimono for the water fae, they also bought a few makeup products for the other's face.
After all that they went back into the guild to get ready, Tobca applied the skin products all over where people could see. Dyllis explained to Tobca that she got a mask that can make her look more human and she wanted for them to both have some fun at this human event.
They were gonna kill all the humans later so they might as well let loose a bit, the water fae felt a bit disgusted that she was gonna be surrounded by humans and the fact that Dyllis was making them dress up like the pathic beings made her stomach crawl in horror.
The fae wanted to see how the cannibal looked, she wouldn't say she wasn't curious since it was very similar to a human she wonders what it would look like. Tobca then lightly added makeup to her new pale completion, she drew on brows that she had seen a few humans done in the past.
After about an hour or so Tobca came out of the restroom and into the bedroom where Dyllis sat, Tobca had a dumbfounded face on as she expected Dyllis face not seeing a single flaw in her smooth chocolate-like skin. The cannibal looked like a very pitiful young girl in her late teens.
Dyllis admired how Tobca put on the makeup, not too much and not too little and yes there is the fact she is hiding her natural skin tone. But she is still the beautiful but cruel fae like always.
She didn't want an angry mob after them before they actually do anything crude. If it was one thing she learns from reading history books is that all humans are very cruel beings and will try anyway to degrade anyone worth. The fae has their own reasons why they hate humans so much and she understood why because when you are different they will treat you like a threat.
Humans have always been selfish and greedy rodents, there are not many people who would go for an ugly girl but has a great personality. Probably by thinking this mindset that why she felt attracted to females more than males.
But to even find a person to not judge you on looks is very rare which is quite annoying and that goes for all genders. Shaking out of her thoughts about human nature, she pulled the fae towards a little stand that had glass bottles stacked up into small triangles.
The guy running the stand had a toothy smile, he gave an aura of danger, he glinted with mischief in his brown eyes. Tobca shifted a little under the person's gaze feeling his unsettling stare bore through her, she wasn't scared just a bit disgusted as his gaze change to one of lust.
"Hello sir we will like to play your game" Dyllis book spoke in a plain tone, he looked at her book curiously before murmuring "Such a shame."
"It cost two copper coins per ball Miss," he said with a toothy grin, Dyllis nodded and pulled out six copper coins and gave it to him. His gloved hand lingered on her bare hand a bit longer than needed to, making both girls uncomfortable.
He put three balls on the counter, Dyllis picked up one and flicked her wrist as she let go. A deafening crash was heard as the triangle of glass bottles have all shattered, she proceeded to toss the remaining two balls. Shards of glass decorate the floor of the stand and a few shards could be seen on their respective tables.
The guy who had a toothy grin before started to break out in a cold sweat thinking 'that could have been me' being completely shaken up he grabs a large stuff animal from under the table, it was a blue turtle that had a beard.
Dyllis took the stuffed animal and gave it to Tobca, blushing quite a lot "For me?" she asked a bit shock, Dyllis nodded her flustered face. This was her idea on how to romance Tobca since she couldn't really figure out much. She knew she would love the music that was playing in the background.
So she thought she would show the Fae what she has been missing out on, other around that have seen the scene thought it was quite cute a few other was disgusted by the pair, some were completely upset wishing it was them being given the stuffed animal or the other way around.
Tobca took the blue turtle with a slight blush as a warm feeling appeared in her heart causing it to speed up a bit. Dyllis unbeating heart moved five times giving her a warm feeling.
A sound of a flute played out through the whole event, it was quite beautiful and graceful. It is very calming to one mind, it reminds her a bit of the church chimes back in her old world.
Tobca looked at the turtle happily and hold it tight under her right arm, she leaned over and kissed Dyllis on the cheek causing her already blushing face turned into a darker shade 'Too cute!' Dyllis said in her mind. Tobca laughter at the other reaction as Dyllis touched her cheek with a look of surprise.
