"well, you lose because you don't use a strategy, Jade, you only use your raw power to increase speed and that's not good. is only making you exhausted more faster."

holy shit, she is really muscle brain, isn't she? to think she can survive and reach the S rank Adventure, like this. but if she really becomes S rank Adventure with that mindset I can somehow imagine how powerful Jade is, In this world, there are so many dangerous things that can threaten your life. it's not easy to survive only with your raw power you must improve, adapt, and overcome in this Age. the dangerous thing in this world is not only monsters but people too, you can be killed by people. for me, this Era is like a medieval era but with magic and fantasy. the law in this era are not as advanced as the modern era, the law is more lenient. to think Jade only have that mindset... I don't really know how can she survive, but for her to still alive and rank up to S Rank that means Jade really have enough power to overthrow the dangerous situation if something occurs, the proof is she recognized by the guild to become S rank.

because of our race the distance before we go out to from forest become only 2 days, we took a race about 50 kilometers, but because of this race Jade exhausted, her magic is been depleted. she uses magic constantly to her physical power and accelerates, in the end, we must rest a bit to replenish our Magic. as for me I can keep going on but still, I feel exhausted too from using that much magic, I'm afraid if we keep going forward we gonna meet the monster in state of our magic near our limit to avoid the worst scenario we will rest beside the lake first. by the way when we have a race some of the Monsters from the forest try to attack us and catch us. but they're failed because we're too fast, we abandoned them too, so we only focus on the race.
"by the way Jade I forgot to ask this when we left the cliff before in the ruin the soldier and Irvin said that you're dragon emperor is that true?"
while squeezing my shirt who wet from swimming, I asked Jade about her title. It's the first time I heard her nickname the elders didn't tell me neither jade tell me about it.
"ahh, that Nickname huh? well that's just my title at the adventure guild"

"yes that was my title, basically the title is just like your nickname, and the title was given by guild when you've become an S rank Adventure"
"wait, do you mean when you become the S rank that's mean the guild gonna give you a nickname?"
"yes, for me because I'm from the dragon tribe and one of the strongest fighter, dragon emperor is nickname more appropriate for me, oh and by the way, there's two another person who is in dragon tribe like me and have that title"
if only she is not a muscle brain maybe I will believe it, but hearing it from jade directly makes me hard to believe it. I didn't say anything about I don't believe in her, I just silently hear her explanation.

Jade inform me about the other two dragon emperors, she made a hard expression and from what I heard there's the sound of sadness in her tone, the mood became gloomy. I feel there's something between them I don't want to pry from her past more than this because I respect her if she doesn't want to tell it then I will not pry into it.

"by the way, Jade after we go out from the forest is there any city that closes from here?"
because the mood becomes gloomy I tried to change the topic of our conversation.
"ahh, there's a neutral city close from here, Conrad City"
"neutral city?"
"yes a city that doesn't belong to any country, it was the city of adventure"
so there's a system of normal city huh?
"city of adventure huh? is the one who leads the city was guild?"

some country? why is she use the word of some country, that's mean...

It was strange why did jade us 'some country' and not a country name.
"as expected Len Len you really catch it fast, yes to be exactly the city is has been managed by all country in this continent, since that place is really close to this Forest sometime the flood of monster attacked the city. to prevent this calamity the country from all Ethereal continent agreed that this city must be the neutral city for the adventure!"
"well, that's one interesting city I can't wait to see that city, how about we pace up our speed when we already finish replenishing our magic?"
I asked Jade
"sounds good!!"
Jade agreed to me.
I can guess what she means about the flood of monsters, that's mean this city has become the front line for this forest. all the country in this continent is afraid if a flood of a monster from this Forest is run amok on the continent. the damage gonna be massive to the surrounding country, I believe. And instead of using military power, they use adventure power to exterminate the monster to reduce the cost. well, of course, they don't want to use military power, military power was an asset of the country. after all, they don't want to waste it on some monster, they are warier about the surrounding country. Like I said the enemy in this world is not only the monster but people too.
it's been 3 hours since we rest and it's already dark so we decide to rest here for one day before we continue the journeys.
today I'm the one who is in charge of cooking our dinner.
"hmmm, Len Len what are you cooking? the smell is really good! I can't wait!"

I tried to make a soup from fish in the lake that I catch before. I use a grain of salt, pepper, and some broth that I been kept since I left the village, it's my secret ingredient. we found some mushrooms that can be eaten too in this forest so we mix them in the soup. I tried to taste the soup first... it's perfect!
"it's done, Jade where's your bowl?"
"here!!"
she excitedly gives the bowl to me, she really looks like a kid who waiting for breakfast.
"hmmmmm it's so good, the broth is really kicking in and I can taste the mushrooms and the fish gave me an Umami taste! it's the first time I taste food delicious as this"
"well of course you gonna like it because your sense of taste is really different from mine"
"hyahaha sorry about that"
the first time I taste the food that Jade made, is really bland. because she doesn't mind about the ingredients or the food, she cooked it without seasoning or sauce, I can't stand eating bland food so I taught her about seasoning and how to cook properly to improve her sense.
we eat and chat until near midnight, we talk about jade adventure, about the food, and the information about the city.
morning come. we wake up and continue the journeys, then 2 days later we finally got out of the forest and going to the city
