Chapter 58 - Carnation 56

Third Person

Paris, France: Jardin d'Eden

"Were back!"

A cheerful pitch entered the room as Saccharide and Silver got back to their normal vision The black-haired male got back his snobbish expression as he looked at his boyfriend beside him, bouncing up and down.

Bronze hugged Silver's bicep and rubbed his cheeks on the silky smooth skin of his lover. The manly cologne entered his nose as he remembered something, "Oh Silver, I just found out that segregating trashes is fun! We have to do it on our next date and bring his girlfriend along with us!"— he pointed at Saccharide.

"Excuse me?" The pissed grey-haired male growled and nearly bared his teeth just by gritting them together.

Cockily, Bronze crossed his legs as he continued to set off Saccharide to the edge of the boy's temper, "I suppose we could take you too," he smirked before completing his statement, "You'll be a great addition to the Biodegradable trash."

Steams blew from his ears and on the top of his head. His urge to chomp down Bronze's trashy tongue heightens the more he breathes the same air as his.

Thankfully, the only source of his fresh air and oxygen came inside the room with her cherry lips glossed up, and her hair was tied in a not so neat high ponytail.

"Raine..." he called as he pulled the girl into the big blanket of his embrace, "Let's go, please..." His whispers reached and pulled the strings of her hearts.

Raine excused herself and ran to hug Romien. The long-haired lad looked at Saccharide first, when the grey-haired teen smiled and nodded, he instantly wrapped his arms around the fragile girl. The girl then turned to her adviser and just gave him a smile and a hand squeeze before mouthing him the words.

'It's alright...'

"Goodbye, Romien, and Sir Edward. I wish you the best of luck with this career," she sent them with a goodbye kiss on the cheek before giving Saccharide a kiss on his nape, leaving her own mark.

Saccharide shivered and opened the door for his girl, "You go first, dear..."

His smile faded when Raine's out of their sight, "Yeah," he looked at Romien and Sir Edward from head to toe before his eyes squinted the moment he remembered their performance a while ago.

"I'll never see you two the same way anymore"

His last words made Bronze laugh but he didn't stay any longer to fill his eardrums with vainglorious discourse from that air-headed man child, he pulled the door hard that the gold-encrusted knob was detached.

Looking over to his waiting girl, he moved his head to turn to the guard beside the door, "Here's your tip," he winked and handed the golden knob to the muscular man before walking away with the girl's hand wrapped with his.

While they were striving for the nearby elevator, Saccharide looked at Raine and realized he missed talking to her, "I've been reading the brochure for a while and—"

"You don't say..." she giggled, completely interrupting him with the music she emits from her mouth.

He stopped for a while to absorb her scent as he smiled, "Well, I've seen this competition for couples that if you win. You'll get a portion of their flower field and it's bigger than your previous garden," he showed her the brochure and the girl automatically made herself busy reading the information.

"It doesn't explain a lot about the competition but I've got my eyes on the price first," the boy suggested and constantly, checking the girl's reaction.

The corner of her lips was remodeled into a sad smile as her eyes softened like a croissant without the yeast to make it rise. She carefully folded the piece of glossy special paper before gently tucking it inside the coats of her pocket.

The boy was overcome by dismay, "...what? Don't you like it?"

"That's sweet, Saccharide but, I don't need a new garden..." she brushed the excessive strands of hair covering his gorgeous right eyes as she spoke, "And I don't like competing..."

"I know that's a big deal for you so. I- wanted to- I mean I wanted to buy the whole garden but, I just thought you'd want to win it with me..."

The sound of the elevator rang, the metal doors opened themselves for them and the boy's contented imagination was bewildered when the small space was empty. Frowning, the boy clicked his tongue to make the girl look up and expose her pretty charm.

"You know what... I'll just buy it for you," sneered the boy before he set foot inside the elevator, dragging the girl like a life-sized doll porcelain figurine.

"Saccharide—" she called and stopped him halfway in pushing the blinking blue colored button.

He held his hand before saying those words slowly, "Let's kick some asses!"

Sneering at her cute response, he leaned in for a quick peck on the lips. He ran his tongue over the flavored lip gloss on his lips before muttering, "You're my girl..."

Peach...

"Saccharide?" The girl called him again.

She could call him a million times without him getting tired of hearing and saving it to his core memory slots.

"Dear?" He cooed back

"I want to try the slide..." Raine asked and looked at the family trying out the slide on the opposite side of the elevator.

"I'm afraid you'd say that but—" he blew out the air from his lungs and held the girl's hand tightly. He pressed all the buttons of the elevator which made the girl a little frantic about what the boy has inside his brilliant but, broken mind.

"...why not?!"

Before the door of the elevator closed to travel the whole building from bottom to top, Saccharide cheered and pulled Raine outside to give in her request.

They both rejoiced like little kids running and circling on the sand on the beach as they run to explore the whole floor and find the longest slide there is.

'There are many things to do in an elevator, but yeah, slides are fun too,' Saccharide thought of a perverse thing but, he has no intention of taking it too far.

"Ready?" This was the last question he heard from his lover when she pushed him first on the long anaconda sized tube for a test drive.

Yeah... Seeing the black-haired angel smile is more fun than an elevator ride...
