Third Person
Paris, France: Jardin d'Eden
"Go!"
Taking no chance wasted, Saccharide sprinted as Silver followed behind him. The first split pathway was either left or right and both of the angels chose right. After leading the cameraman in the other direction so they could fully execute the plan, both of them go through a lot of curves.

Right

Another Right
...
Then Left.

After a few runs and they came to a halt. Feeling the air surrounding them became colder, Saccharide called the black-haired boy beside him before wiping the, "There's no sign of any of them," he breathed out.
"We should probably split ways by now," suggested Silver.
Another pathway was ahead of them but both decided to split ways, their glows will guide them as it was still visible from the seams of the bushes up to the height of the plants. Saccharide began with his quest alone, he took the left path and met with a dead-end when he heard a screeching sound nearby.
"Raine!" he called out and heard one clap. He felt ecstatic and continued with the name-calling. Stepping away from the dead-end wall of the green barrier, he called again.
"Gorgeous!" Echoing throughout the wide array of bushes, his voice sounded clearer.
Someone messed or stomped up and down the grasses. He tried ruffling the bushes and compare if it was the same sound that occurred. As he was doing so, he pricked his skin on the thorns; he cursed under his breath before licking the red liquid leaking from the small cut.
...
"When I call you by your real name, clap..." he could still hear his on-point instruction to the girl, "When I call out anything that is not your name, ruffle some leaves..."
...
"Raine!"
...
Clap. The sound became faint.
...
"Dear!"
...
Stomp. Louder.
...
"Aksenov!"
...
Clap. It was fainter yet, again.
...
"Raine!"
...
Two claps. It was the faintest among all of the signals.
It means he was getting farther away from her.
...
From a distance, he heard multiple claps and shouting. The girl was right about the emulated techniques. Shaking his head, Saccharide continued to walk slowly, calling Raine's name and their endearment while doing so.
...
"Gorgeous!"
...
No clap.
...
"FUCK!"
...
He can't help but shout one foul word to get the tension building up inside him. It was necessary and is actually good for his health to say one curse a day. But thank goodness, he did because he heard a ruffle of leaves from somewhere in his right.
Looking left and right, he walked slowly, making sure to search carefully to find a lovely lady with hair dark as his surrounding. Just hearing thoughts inside his noggin, he squinted his eyes to make out a figure from a distance who is walking slowly.
"Raine!" he called again as he nears.
Then he heard a clap-
xXx
8:50 P.M.
She heard him.
She was more than sure that she heard his manly voice calling her name.
He was near for sure. Raine just needed to find where was it coming from.
"Raine!"
There was it. Raine did as she was told and clapped, giving force to it as much as she could. She continued walking slowly as the boy directed him to do. After waiting for another call, she tried to run her hands across the walls of the bushes.
"Eck-" she bit her tongue after feeling an acute pain on her fingertips.
Thorns.
Roses.
Feeling her damp skin covered in blood, she inhaled and tried not to faint because of the small cuts that she received from the pricks. After wrapping her right hand under the fabric of the suit they gave her, she felt a little sting, so she docked down before remembering that she mustn't stop.
She stood up and continued making little steps. Her direction was unchanging as she can't exactly see where she's headed and why Saccharide's voice stopped calling her.
...
"Gorgeous!"
...
That she heard so she turned around and sharpened her hearing senses. A few steps to her right she heard beeping noises from followed by a robotic noise from the speaker that said, "Disqualified!"
'Who was disqualified?' asked Raine but only mouthed the words.
She kept moving but another 'Disqualified' was shouted from the sound system. Her beating chest was hysterically trying to get out of her rib cage as the pressure increases as blocks put above her head, it slows her down.
Then she stopped for a second when she heard footsteps behind her. She counted, making sure she doesn't hit 5 seconds so the helmet will not be activated and she'll be disqualified from the game.
...
There it was the heavy footsteps.
She hopes Saccharide recognizes her after all the modifications they had done with all of them. Every interval of 5 seconds, she would walk forward and feel all the air in front of her. A smile was formed on her lips when she bumped into someone, the scent of that person was mixed with the flower-scented air.
"I promised that I'll find you, right?" she heard an unclear voice, "Here I am."
Looking up, she traveled her right hand up to his face while the other one ruffled his hair. Her breathing finally came back to normal once the person wrapped their hands around her. None of them was allowed to talk but they could do actions to communicate with each other.
While the male was leading the girl around the maze to find the exit, she heard something.
...
"Raine!"
...
She can't be wrong. That voice came from Saccharide but if he was still calling for her then who was she with all this time.
...
"Dear!"
...
She had no time to find out and immediately pushed the person who was holding her and bolted towards the other direction without her vision. Once she was sure getting away, luck didn't side with her as she bumped into a wall of rough and prickly leaves.
The girl fell flat on her back, she was badly hurt but having the reason to stand back, she pushed herself to sit first. Then a pair of brisk running steps sound alarmed her. She stood up but failed because she was pinned down again by the same person who captured her a while ago.
'...please' she whimpered as she felt a hand enjoying themselves playing the fabric covering her well-developed front.
...
"Gorgeous!"
...
Raine badly wants to call Saccharide's name and end this misery but her mouth was occupied by someone's mouth. She could taste remnants of the pop cola inside the person's hot, wet chew hole.
She wanted to disqualify herself but her eyes were glued shut and the guy found a way to carry her while they kiss so the tracker attached to her was moving. The girl struggled to get herself out of the man's dominion.
...
"FUCK!"
...
Surely, it was Saccharide. Raine already felt his presence nearing just by hearing his tone. He was just 6 feet away from them and she was immobilized by this man he probably knows but no idea who was.
But she chose the decision that next time he'll call her-
...
"Raine!"
...
-she clapped which made the person keeping her hostage, drop her on her feet, and keep her wrist together. Raine put on a fight and fortunately knocked something off the person's face.
The moment that she heard the fallen specimen hit the grass and created a familiar noise, she instantly knew, no queries asked, who was the man. Her heart dropped double weight when Saccharide's voice gone to zero as she heard his footsteps walking away from where she was.
"Saccharide..."

9:15 P.M.
"We're close..."
He said in his mind as he tightly clutched his girl's soft hand inside his. Squinting his eyes, Saccharide gritted his teeth in annoyance as it became much darker as the time passes by. There are 2 people disqualified and he can't wait to see who are those people.
The victory was just one turn ahead of them that he could practically smell it from where are they standing. The glow on his hands became useless as the lights became pitch-black like they were seconds away from being attacked by the Boogieman.

Right.

Left.

Dead End.

It got a lot more peculiar when his eyes refresh to one spot of the maze where a fair source of light came from. He went straight for that, dragging his companion excitedly towards the winning cheers of the people outside the maze.
"Congratulations!"
The announcer shook his hand and handed him the key to the mini prize. He rejoiced and sent the people a cocky look before hugging the petite form of his girlfriend. Removing the helmet from the girl's head, he froze.
All of them stared in shock at the unplanned revelation. The disqualified just rest their backs against their chair and watched as Saccharide's genuine smile turned into a deranged frown.
...
Orange locks.
...
Bronze colored mask.
...
"Bronze..." Saccharide muttered and backed away a little.
A goofy smile welcomed him as the helmet hit the ground with a crash, the bits of glass were scattered within the creases of the grass ground. It was not the same auburn eyes he was expecting to see and the luscious black hair didn't release their scrumptious smell.
Uncontrollably, his hands started shaking and his forehead created cold sweat beads. Feeling the urge to gouge someone's eyes out, he looked at the opening of the maze again.
...
"Raine!"
...
His legs took him inside again and frantically shouted Raine's name.
...
"Raine!"
...
He wanted to see her.
...
"Raine!"
...
He needs to see her so, he can keep his sanity in check.
...
"Raine!"
...
He'll go back to being calm once he hears one clap.
He just needs one clap from the girl.
Just like how they talked about.
Then from afar, A girl was being carried by the masked man, wearing all black. She looked lifeless, her hands swayed limply as the man carried her to the exit. The medic rushed over them and checked her pulse while the others attended to clean the multiple slits on her palm.
Feeling the rage fill his veins, Saccharide pounced on the male and punched him. He picked up one big piece of the shard from the helmet and threatened the boy by putting it against his neck. The IXCents securities joined the commotion and tried to pull the boy but he was stuck there like the gravity around him reached the limit.
Saccharide yelled in his face, pushing the shard harder so a few drops of blood were drawn, "What the fuck did you do to her?!"
The boy couldn't answer because his Adam's apple was slightly pierced by the transparent glass. Trying their best to control the situation, Romien calmed him down by saying things about how Raine will be alright.
But to the grey-haired boy, it was lust for blood that's fully booked his train of thoughts as he stared down at the helpless expression of the masked boy.
"Saccharide!"
Someone called. Her hearing perked up so as his eyes when she heard the familiar pitch and voice, "Racquel?"
The masked girl removed the cap from his ponytail styled blonde hair. Racquel's blue eyes shone with concern as she removed the mask of her friend as well. The same eye contacted yellow orbs goggled at him and judged him. His cap fell off when he struggled, finally revealing the same grey hair and the tanned skin of the sweating boy.
"Klavier..." Saccharide sat up and peeled himself away from Klavier, "What the fuck are you doing here?"
They all learned from this scene.
"It was his idea," Racquel pointed at the boy beside him before looking down shamefully at her feet.
- Free skin scare won't be enough to stall Klavier Baernaise, that's for sure.
