"Here's your seat. Please enjoy the Platold Show!"
'What the hell is Platold?'- Nevermind! Where are those cap freaks?!' Saccharide thought before he smiled at the staff.
The staff's welcoming atmosphere towards them reassured Saccharide. Raine watched her boyfriend as he looked around with alert eyes, still bothered by the two figures following them a while ago.
She was just glad that the other bouncer let them in because she still kept the ID's that the singer of the band gave her. Even with this relief, the girl can't deny the guilt of not being able to stop Saccharide from attacking the poor man.
She was still trying to wrap the incident around her head even though it's not the first time witnessing such a thing. 'I still have a lot to learn,' she said in her mind as the announcer entered the stage and declared a rundown for the right etiquette inside the arena.
Her eyes were solely focused on the stage that she didn't notice Saccharide hanging one of the ID's around her neck, "Hold unto these,"- then the teen boy tugged his coat off her shoulders, "And give me back my coat, you don't have to cover up anymore."
The focused girl was not responding to the male so he smirked and called her name once again, this time, closer to her ear, "Raine..."
Shocked by the sudden move, Raine turned to her boyfriend with a flinch before calling back the boy's name, "Saccharide..."
Now that her attention was undivided, he tugged his coat off her shoulders but the girl pulled it back on and signaled him that she wanted it to stay. Saccharide sighed and said in a whisper, "Hands up..."
Raine averted her gaze and hugged the coat instead of giving it up, "But they said I was dis-!"
The boy scoffed before raising his voice to assert dominance, "Hands up!"
Reluctantly, Raine raised her hand and gathered a few whisperers behind their back but Saccharide just looked behind them where the gossips came from and they all stopped after meeting with the boy's glowing eyes.
"Drool, bitches..." Saccharide muttered, not loud enough for them to comprehend.
Wrapping it around his waist once more, the boy beamed a smile at the beautiful black haired girl beside him and gave her a decent head pat. She turned her head to the side and saw people throwing daggers with their stares. Her brows clashed with each other when she heard whispers along with the glares.
She was about to stand up and request the staff to give them new seats when the boy beside him put his arms around her and put their forehead against each other, "Ignore them..."
"Spare those dazzling eyes only with me," he said which made the girl explode but his action added a further fury to the flame. Having enough of the attention and the factors stressing her boyfriend, Raine pulled away from his handsome face before covering her body with her denim jacket, "I'm so-"
She was about to apologize when suddenly her lover stopped her by squishing her cheeks together, "You're not going to apologize for looking so goddamn hot, alright?"
The girl was speechless. She was lost in his words that is why she was lost for words herself. All she did was stare at him with widened eyes as the lighting of the arena changed their hue. The normal lighting became more vibrant, the setting made it seem they were inside a spaceship staring into the space ceiling.
Saccharide became alert again and held Raine's hand as he looked around the well-lit room but fairly dark surrounding. The girl could not think of other words to say because she was left flabbergasted.
...
The sound of the speakers changed from a dramatic to a lively one. The music boomed through their ears along with the cheers, claps, and shouts from the audience but the girl hears more of her heart beating from her chest. Hopelessly, she leaned to her bothered lover and whispered three simple words.
...
"I love you..."
When the boy finally turned to her, he raised both of his eyebrows before asking, "What?!"- he plugged one ear with his index finger and squinted his eyes.
She almost fires into a pit of laughter just by looking at his annoyed shit face, "Nevermind..."
Confused, the boy rests his back against the chair while still looking at his girl suspiciously as her frown literally turned into a cheerful palette within. He wanted to ask so he insisted, "What were you saying?"
A straight answer was expected from her lips but instead, she decided to tease him, just a little punishment because of what he did to the poor man back there, "Nothing. Shut up!"
Despite her clear insolent response, Saccharide was not having it and decided to convince her into talking, "Raine... Talk!"
Her laugh annoyed and delighted the fascinated male; "I'm not a dog!" she complained and playfully slap him on his face.
"Come on. Is something bothering you?" Saccharide asked and kept her hands cupped inside his. If one tactic gets a girl into spilling the tea, it was his droopy eyes.
But-
Strangely, none of his styles worked this time. She didn't even blush. He was starting to regret it when he informed her that he loves it when she retaliates and fights him back. He still loves it but now these times when he's serious. If she's feeling something, he swore that he'll be the first one to know.
'Damn... This obsession is worse than I thought' he heard his own voice inside his head.
After a few more taps and attempts to reveal her words awhile ago, Saccharide gave up and threw a quiet tantrum while still admiring her strong will to hide those words.
Without warning, red-colored smoke came from under their seat, it made the others stand up from their sits and squeal like pigs. Raine just lifted her legs abruptly and stood up from her seat, having a much better view of the panicking people from the following seats.
'Most of the boys are the ones panicking but the girls look like they really anticipated for this moment,' she observed.
Eventually, they stopped and looked in her direction, her cheeks burst like insolation from the sun when she realized that her body was completely exposed to all the people.
She docked down when a hand pulled her down. Regaining her former state, Raine got back on her seat as the smoke continued seeping out of their seat. This time, the smoke has a different hue of lavender. When she turned her gaze, the girl was shocked upon seeing a calm state from her boyfriend especially with this smoke reigning the atmosphere.
Saccharide laughed at her before pinching her cheeks again, "It's their signature entrance, don't worry..."
Her lips quivered, "Entrance...?"
As the surrounding became darker and the smoke exhaust from under their seat stopped, the stage that was completely unnoticeable moments ago was in a complete make-over with little fireworks outlining the arc above. Twinkling fairy, LED, and disco lights blinded all of us as the cheers became louder.
And then-
"Gold!" someone shouted from the audience.
A soft strumming pattern of a guitar silenced the whole crowd.
The mixed party of lights was turned off and only a star spotlight shone onto a tall boy with gorgeous long brown hair.
"La da da da da
I'm gonna bury you in the ground..."
His mask was the color of metallic gold, his eyes were the color of the sea. He was wearing a red and blue checkered button-up shirt with a few buttons removed from their slits to showcase his tattooed chest. From his waist was plain jeans with a black leather belt and a pair of worn sneakers.
"La da da da da
I'm gonna bury you with my sound-"
He sang and his voice was soft for his features. Because of his mask, they could clearly see him drowning himself in the hymn of his song. The red glossy surface of his guitar struck the hearts of the girls as they awed.
That was his band name, "Gold."
"Romien?" his name escaped Raine's lips. But she thought again, Romien doesn't wear tattoos. He despises them. It's against the virtues of the gentle boy.
"I'm gonna, drink the red
From your pretty pink face
I'm gonna-"
The last strum of his fingers sent the whole stage into a full wake.
"Platinum!" more fans shouted from the crowd when a man with the hair of a darker shade than the hair of Gold's.
The other 3 men were revealed on the stage, the other one beside Gold was probably the main lead singer who was known, "Platinum" because he was wearing the platinum colored mask which was the highest of the metal color.
"Are you done yet?
'Cause I'm tired of feeling guilty for this!"
The man with the platinum Ombre colored mask shouted with diction. Raine was shocked but the crowd turned into high-pitched screaming birds when Gold was gripped on the collar by the male named Platinum. It was like they were going to fight so Raine gave her boyfriend a little tug.
"They are acting. It's not a fight, it's their style as a band," reassured the boy and intertwined their hands together, and continued to watch the act.
"Platold! Platold! Platold" The people cheered.
Saccharide scoffed and rolled his eyes, "Really? Platold?"
'So Platold was a faggot couple name? Platinum x Gold!' he thought.
"Is that what people really think about me?
That I'm a God above all of you?"
People went wild when the drum and keyboard player started playing, "Silver and Bronze!" shouted the female couple on the side as they admired the drummer's jet black hair and metallic silver mask. He was wearing a rustic leather vest with a choker around his neck.
The keyboard player has ginger-colored hair with a plain cream dyed hoodie. Even with his shining bronze mask, they could clearly see that his eyes were closed to feel the keys beneath his skillful presses.
"Sorry I don't treat you like your perfect-"
Gold continued playing the guitar while singing his lines. He circled Platinum and leaned against the boy's ear before seductively whispering the rest of the words.
"Like all your little loyal subjects do"
Platinum shrugged Gold off his shoulders as he walked away from him; it's his turn to sing his line. The frenzy frenzied when Gold followed Platinum to the other side of the stage.
"Sorry if I seem malicious
But I can't sympathize with you
I know that it hurts when you're lonely
But I can't take that burden from you, so-"
Platinum went back to the middle front stage and acted the part. Then suddenly, for the audience's amusement, a chair was brought up from beneath the stage as Gold followed him at the center.
"I'm just your problem, well"
Platinum sat on the chair and held his hair like he was frustrated. The crowd, mostly girls, screamed their throats out when Gold hugged him from behind, running his hands like a snake across Platinum's chest.
"Ugh! Cover your eyes from this joke, Raine..." Saccharide grunted and tried to cover her eyes from the gay show but he was stopped by her own hands.
With immense incredulity, his eyes widened and he complained to the girl, "Don't tell that you want to watch this!"
No voice came out from her. She just ignored him to keep watching. There's nothing he could do so the grey-haired boy just used his time to keep a keen eye for the two hooded wearing creeps.
For some reason, the music and the acting of the main lead singer were clearly familiar for the black-haired girl maybe that's why she was so caught up watching it. There is something with this show that she couldn't quite touch so she kept watching to find out.
"You're YOUR own problem"
Platinum, even with a face full of pleasure, sang in a defensive tone as Gold continued to romantically snake his arms around. Saccharide was so close to barfing but the girls behind them stood up to get a better view when Platinum stood up and pulled Gold into sitting on his lap.
"It's like I'm
Not even a person, am I?
No..."
Gold dropped his guitar on the ground gently when he came face to face with Platinum. It was a huge shock for all when the keyboard player picked up the guitar and started playing it, the music became more punk and the lighting changed from dark to a romantic setting.
"I'm just your problem I'm just your problem?
Well, I know"
With a strong high tone, Gold screamed back singing to Platinum. This is all just an act but the intensity of their connection, acting, and voice added to the reasons why the girls and some of the boys admire them.
"You wear this defensive attitude"
It was Platinum's turn to scream back but this time he was unto Gold's back as he sang.
"But I-"
Gold stood up from his lap but ended up being pulled again and his lips stayed on the crook of his neck.
"Shouldn't have to prove anything to you
I'm sorry that I exist
I forgot what landed me on your blacklist, well"
Holding onto tight on his partner's hair as Platinum explored his fully exposed neck, Gold showed his lustful face to the audience and it hyped up the fans to the point that some of them flooded the gap in front of the stage that separates it from the audience's seats.
"Excuse me, Madame..." Raine wanted to see the performance but kept getting death daggers whenever she asked the people to go back to their seats.
Even the bouncers and staff can't hold back the crowd. But the show continued despite the chaos in front of the stage. The girl gave up extending her neck to see the performance and just calmly laid her head against Saccharide's shoulder.
"I will always be here
But it's not my battle to save you from you"
The crazy fans became shut silent when the two leaned in closer to each other before stopping with a two-inch gap between their lips. They were waiting for contact but the music mellowed as they just stared at each other's eyes.
"Why do I want to?"
"Yes I still want to"
Their voice combine was like angels corrupted their vocal cords. Gold was the one who started and Platinum sang next.
"Why do I want to?"
"Oh, I still want to-"
It was a long and high 'c' note but it was Gold who dropped the note first before singing his next line while Platinum held it for a second.
"I'm sorry that it's this way but I don't know what else to say."
Gold turned away and proceeded to remove himself from Platinum's lap before both men stood up from the chair.
"And I promise you, you could never push me away."
Platinum hugged Gold from behind before whispering the lyrics in his ears. It made every hair on their body stand up as the lapel captured it perfectly.
"And I cannot wait for when you say"
Eventually, Gold turned around and faced the man with the platinum mask. What shocked them the most is when both boys removed their masks before tossing them high in the air.
"AH!" the girls squealed and scratched each other to claim the masks.
All of them were distracted by getting the masks that they did not realize the real deal of removing their masks was their face reveals. But it was all too late because both boys turned around then the light turned off.
"That I'm just your problem"
Gold's voice echoed as he sang the last line of the song. The light turned on again and the stage was back to its normal mediocre appearance. Every one clapped while the ones who got the masks jumped with joy as they waved their precious souvenirs in the air while riding on their partner's shoulder.
