Never in his life, he thought that he would see the white-haired boy lighting candles and praying but he was witnessing it right in front of his own eyes. Phoenix walked closer to make sure it was really Dione who was murmuring prayers in front of Saccharide's door.
When the boy stood up and looked around, their eyes met and they instantly knew what will happen.
"Dione Hayden..." He called.
Dione moaned and leaned against the walls again, "Ugh! Here is the cliché master..."
Phoenix asked, eyeing the big reddish handprint on the pallid face of Dione, "What happened to your face?"
The white-haired teen looked rubbed the part of his face where a slight burn stings. The girl slapped him minutes ago but the vibrating pain lasts. But the one, Dione wouldn't forget is the expression on Raine's face when she slapped him.
"That Aksenov is not a joke let me tell you," Dione declared and held his hands up in defeat, "She made me light these scented candles, pray and bury those guards properly"
"I didn't even get to taste their blood because it is labeled inappropriate!" He added after performing a quotation symbol with middle and index finger at the 'inappropriate'.
Phoenix just rolled his eyes, still not convinced that a weakling slapped Dione without them being blood drained, "She did that to your face?"
"Do I need a sign that says Raine Aksenov slapped me?" the white-haired lad stomped his feet multiple times as he waited for Phoenix to make the first move, "Should I be honored?"
Putting the newfound issue aside, they regained their stance and faced each other. Dione backed a little and made sure that the door was locked and no one can enter with hacking and whatsoever.
Phoenix made the first statement, "You know why I'm here right?"
"You'll pray with me?" Dione said before winking.
"Where's Nightmare?" The blonde male got to the question right away.
Dione took his tongue out in his disgust feeling the homophobic fluids rising in his brain, "You're looking for that sucker?"
But then he remembered what Aquilla told him before. His eyes widened before he laughed out loud in front of Phoenix, "Oh wait!"- he paused and looked up, pretending that he remembers something.
"YOU. ARE. THE. SUCKER" Dione stressed each word before licking his lips seductively, imitating the vulgar he imagined the two did.
His face clearly pissed, Phoenix repeated his query to the whacky male, "Where is he?"
Dione closed his eyes, secretly preparing a big syringe behind him. His fiddling fingers twirled the syringe around him, shaking the bubbly red liquid bomb inside. "Drowning," he replied, "Drowning in his own blood..."
"You're not going to tell me, are you?" Phoenix already eyed the hand placed behind the white-haired boy.
"Why? So you two could suck each other?" Dione grunted and stopped mixing the red liquid to give it a death grip with his thumb ready to push the round end, "Such events needs a party pooper like me!"
Their fight began, Phoenix attacked with his fist. His adrenaline lacks the sluggishly slow but effective dodge techniques of Dione. The blonde-haired male threw more fist attacks with a few high and low kicks while Dione just effortlessly avoided them.
Dione finally attacked and pointed the 6-inch needle but it only pierced the side of Phoenix's neck, merely drawing a couple of blood drops.
"You know. If you brought guns it will be easier..."
The continuous teasing of the white-haired boy got on his nerves as Phoenix docked down to avoid being injected with the red liquid. As he docks, Dione smirked and kicked him in the guts. Phoenix fell helplessly flat on the floor, he was blinded by the hallway ceiling light but the figure of Dione ready to strike him with the needle blinded him even more.
"Ugh! Shirt!" Dione grunted in annoyance when he couldn't get the needle out of the floor. He missed Phoenix's eyes purely because of his bad aiming skills.
Rolling on the floor, Phoenix successfully avoided the attack by an inch. Seconds later, he stood up and took the opportunity of the needle being stuck on the floor to attack the pissed white-haired teen. His raging fist was so close to making contact with Dione's face but then the skillful boy pulled something out of his pocket.
Phoenix with wide eyes tripped on Dione's extended leg that he brought forward while the blonde-haired male was distracted by the blinding light reflected by Aquilla's crystal dagger.
"Why do you need him?" Dione asked as Phoenix took the time to catch his breath after minutes of non-stop punch bolts.
Dione, still holding the crystal dagger in his hand brought it against Phoenix's neck; his other hand pulled his hair to expose more of his neck area, while he knelt on his back to prevent him from standing up.
"Use your mouth into good use and speak," Dione took pleasure from seeing the blonde male suffering.
But then, the automatic doors opened.
"Frère Dione?"
A tiny voice joined the atmosphere as little Menthos looked at both of them with wide and bewildered red eyes.
Dione whispered, "Shoot..."

"Say it to me, come on!"
I'm still persuading her to say the A-hole. I'm thrilled that she finally got to say one curse thing to utter like a normal person. But I'm not happy that of all the people who could have made her say that word, Dione was the one to make her say such things.
"You're not that so I'm not going to say it to you!" she pouted as she stared outside.
"Ass-" I started.
"No!" she exclaimed and began laughing as I took the initiative to mock her again.
Chuckling to her cute upset expression, I ended the word with a crisp, "Hole!"
"I'm not going to say it!" she still insisted.
I stopped and just drove past slightly past the speed limit, "Alright, alright..."
I kept my eyes on the road but feasted my eyes with the peripheral vision of her. With each building and hates passing our eyes, the more she looked around the familiar rolling fields and houses along the road.
"Where are we going?" she questioned, still looking around.
"To the cemetery!" I cheered and beamed her a toothy smile.
Raine tensed her shoulders and looked over me to see if I'm serious, "Why?"
Oh, I'm dead serious, my deary gorgeous...
'After this conversation, you'll call me an asshole. With the diction and tone grimmer than you did Dione. I'm certain I'll bet my blood to Dione if not,' I said in my mind before turning my hazel orbs at her.
"You've got some explaining to do, Gorgeous" I uttered, "Let's see if what's easier to do, Say asshole? Or tell me what you were doing in the darkest of the cemetery because the keeper sees you there very often last month"
"Y- you stalked me?" her voice quivered and stares at me in disbelief.
"I investigated you..." I corrected her and pinched her cheeks.
"Your feet are fine, right?" I asked before smirking, "Even if it's healed, you can't run away from me..."
With wide eyes, she slumped her back against the leather seat and sank deeper before muttering, "Saccharide, you're an asshole!"
Looks like you won't be tasting my blood, after all, Dione...
