After a week of suffering from her monthly period, Tang Yazhu was finally back with her lively demeanor. Throughout the entire week, she found it funny how Long Ning treated her period as though it was not something normal but instead a deadly disease.
Due to this, he never left the house in order to always be by her side; causing Fu Chao to have to constantly go back and forth between the villa and the company.
Currently, Tang Yazhu was strolling in the garden with Midnight and Moonlight. Ever since adopting them, she has never needed to use a leash on them when walking with them by her side as they would always obediently follow by her side. At the same time, while they were walking, she would also pick up some new and freshly blossomed tulips to place in the vases inside of the villa.
In the living room, Tang Yazhu saw Long Ning sitting on the sofa with some papers in his hand. While she walked in, Midnight speedily ran to jump on the sofa and sit on his lap.
Long Ning was a bit shocked by the closeness that this cat was showing him. When the cat innocently jumped to lie on his lap, he raised a brow to look at the cat. He wanted to sigh.
When Tang Yazhu was not looking, the cat would ignore him and treat him coldly. However, when she was around, the cat would act very sweetly towards him. Midnight was too weird of a cat and just too different from Moonlight.
Moonlight was a cat that could be called an attention seeker as she always liked cuddling with Tang Yazhu very much. In fact, she did it so much that Long Ning simply wished he could strangle it or drown it in the pond near the garden. However, all he could do right now was to just ignore Midnight who was sitting on his lap, and stare at Tang Yazhu who was arranging the fresh tulips in the vase.
"Bao'er, I'll be leaving for a week-long business trip to Hou Country," Long Ning told her while flipping through the papers that Fu Chao had given him.
"Oh, okay. When are you leaving and who'll be going with you?" Tang Yazhu asked.
"I'll be leaving tonight, and only Assistant Fu will be leaving with me," Long Ning honestly answered.
"Alright. Stay safe and make sure to bring some souvenirs for me. While we're on this topic, I'll be out today. I need to visit the restaurant. Yin Yin told me that my boss has been waiting to have a chat with me," Tang Yazhu said before heading to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and snacks for him.
After Tang Yazhu left, Long Ning felt Midnight move from his lap and turned his head to look at the black cat. In return, the cat also stared back at him before ignoring him to search for Moonlight to play with.
Seeing those actions, he simply shook his head and continued looking at his papers while thinking, 'That cat is really an abnormal one.'

As requested, Tang Yazhu managed to take the car that she wanted after a long while of begging Long Ning. Of all the difficult people in the world, her husband was the hardest to crack - he simply would not let her leave without a group of bodyguards following behind her trail.
However, she did not want to be such a sight for a sore thumb because she knew she would look weird at the restaurant, almost seeming like she had chaperones by her side.
In the end, after all of her begging, she could finally drive the red Honda Acura NSX that she loved so much. God, she loved her sports car, and especially the times she spent racing cars with her three idiot friends. Though, she did not drone on too much about the past and soon hopped in the car to drive out of the villa.
On the road, Tang Yazhu was listening to music by Coldplay until she noticed something. With her memories, she knew about this shortcut road that would only take her about three turns to reach the restaurant. However, there was a detour sign nearby and this made her raise a brow.
This road that she was taking only had a few cars passing by every few hours and was even a bit dangerous - being famous for some accidents - so there should not be any detour signs.
Then, she noticed three black cars ahead and decided to pull her car to the side of the road before stepping out of the car to survey the situation. She was not too far from the cars and managed to notice that there were a lot of men in black suits surrounding someone while fighting off a group of guys wearing dark blue suits. Seems like the shortcut she chose would have some danger…
Not soon after having that thought in her head, she heard gunshots and immediately hid behind her car. After that, she took a peek, and with her eagle eyes, she realized that the guys wearing the dark blue suits were from Jaded Azure, an enemy organization of Blood Dragon Palace that ranked third in the assassination organization list - while her organization ranked first.
From her point of view, it seemed like the Jaded Azure really wanted to kill the men in black. Well, with the sight of blood, her own body was now getting excited: She also wanted to have some fun!
Well, to be honest, she just missed those old times when she could kill and see people bleed. At the same time, she was interested in testing her skills to see if they were still the same or if they had greatly depressed over the months. Besides, Jaded Azure was her old enemy, so she did not mind nor think that it was bad to help the men in black kill the men in dark blue.
Thus, she opened her car and looked in her gun compartment. Walah! There was a gun in there!
The gun was a Kahr CW9, great for self-defense and easy for a woman to use. Looking in the magazine, there were seven bullets for her to shoot.
Just when Tang Yazhu was about to join in on the fun, she saw a girl along with two men in black suits running towards her. In an instant, one of the men was shot to death while shielding the girl.
"Help! Please help us!" the girl shouted while running in her very fancy and flowy dress.
"Please save her and take her away from here!" the only man left pleaded Tang Yazhu as he fired his gun at the men from Jaded Azure.
Tang Yazhu did not know how to react nor what she should do now. She just wanted to join in on the fun, but here was someone telling her to help get this little girl away from the place.
"Please! I'll pay you any amount of money! Just get me away from here!" the girl shouted at her in a begging voice, entering her car in a rush while the man in black pushed Tang Yazhu into the seat of the driver.
"Please help us take good care of the princess," the man in black pled.
With this, Tang Yazhu had no choice but to drive away, or else she would be at the receiving end of the rain of bullets.
Although she wanted to help them as she could finally play a bit, she did not want to play with someone that was pushing her to protect an unknown person she had no connections to. Still, she drove away very fast and took many sharp turns to prevent the bastards from Jaded Azure from being able to follow her car.
Then, she noticed that the little girl was wearing a type of royal dress. Immediately, her old memories aroused her to remember who this girl - who was currently sweating and taking deep heavy breaths - was.
'Shit!' Tang Yazhu cursed in her head after realizing who this girl was.
She did not expect herself to ever "save" someone she was supposed to have killed more than two years ago! This little girl was none other than Princess Xia Jiaying from Hou, another country in Continent H!
Tang Yazhu remembered very well the mission she had received from headquarters. At the time, she was already in a good position to kill the princess during the royal ball banquet. However, she soon received a call to abort the mission.
That was perhaps one of the few times someone ever received mercy from her, a cold-blooded killer. She did not expect to meet the princess once again and even save her accidentally in this "damsel-in-distress" situation.
She really did not know what that man was thinking - to let the safety of the princess be in her hands. Tang Yazhu wondered if he knew that she was supposed to kill the princess a long time ago, he would still trust her enough to be in charge of helping the princess.
"You're not afraid that I'll abandon and send you straight to them?" Tang Yazhu asked while looking at the road, causing the princess to throw her gaze at her who was driving.
"I know when not to trust people," Xia Jiaying replied with a hoarse voice.
"You really trust me that much? You've barely met me just a moment ago," Tang Yazhu stated almost jokingly.
"You would've already abandoned me a long time ago if you wanted to," Xia Jiaying pointed out.
"What if I just wanted to take you away and ask your family for a huge ransom?" Tang Yazhu questioned.
"With a car like this, you're still poor? Are you really in that much need of money?" Xia Jiaying asked back.
Tang Yazhu could not help but laugh at her statement. This little girl was very interesting - and especially not stupid. It was a good thing that the princess knew a thing or two, or else she would have regretted sparing her life back then.
After driving for about half an hour, they finally reached the underground parking of a hotel that Long Ning owned.
"You can stay here and call someone to pick you," Tang Yazhu said, about to get out of the car only to be held on tightly by Xia Jiaying.
"No! Please don't leave me here alone! It's my first time here and I don't trust anyone here except for you," Xia Jiaying shouted pleadingly.
As soon as the princess did that, Tang Yazhu felt like she could feel a deep headache coming. At the same time, she was trying to brush off the arm of the princess that was clinging onto her like a monkey.
"Let's go out first," Tang Yazhu tried to calm her down.
When the princess let go of her, they finally headed towards the reception area of the hotel. With that, Tang Yazhu took out a black card with a golden fire symbol from her wallet.
While doing that, Tang Yazhu sighed internally. Long Ning simply gave her the card and told her to use it if she was going to places that he owned. In the end, he gave her so many cards that she did not know which card was for which anymore.
"Give me the best VIP room and clear all the rooms from that floor," Tang Yazhu said and handed the black card to the receptionist.
When the receptionist received the card, her eyes almost popped out of their sockets and her hands trembled as she touched the card.
"Just a few moments, Miss," the receptionist said in a trembling voice, immediately calling the manager right after.
In the meanwhile, Tang Yazhu sat patiently with Xia Jiaying in the lobby and ate some of the refreshments. A few moments later, the manager of the hotel arrived with beads of sweat falling from his forehead.
When the manager received the call from the receptionist that someone had used the Golden Fire Black Card, he knew that he had to quickly rush out to meet the user. After all, the only people with this card were people from the Long family.
"Young Miss, what is your request?" the manager respectfully greeted while bowing to Xia Jiaying who was wearing a dress, ignoring Tang Yazhu who was wearing a pair of simple jeans and a loose white shirt.
"Um… The one you should be asking is her," Xia Jiaying told the manager while pointing her slender fingers to Tang Yazhu.
The manager immediately broke out in cold sweat, looking for the reaction of the Tang Yazhu only to see her ignoring him.
"U-uh… I-I'm sorry, Y-youn…" the manager did not get to finish was he had to say as Tang Yazhu cut him off.
"Give her the best VIP room and clear out the entire floor. Ensure that security is tight and that no one is allowed to go up there except for security, got it?" Tang Yazhu ordered in a cold tone, leaving the manager to have only one option: comply with her request.
"Right this way, Young Miss," the manager said and led them towards the best room available in the hotel. "Please, the room is this way.

"Alright, I'll be leaving you here for now. Don't worry, I'll be back after I'm done with my business," Tang Yazhu said as she assured the little princess.
"Can't I just go with you? I promise I won't be a burden to you!" Xia Jiaying tried to cling onto Tang Yazhu as she spoke.
However, Tang Yazhu did not give her a chance at all.
'You're already a burden to me the moment that you ran into my car!' Tang Yazhu thought in her mind.
"Sorry, but I really need to leave now. You'll be safe here no matter what, so just stay here and relax," Tang Yazhu continued to assure before speeding the towards in a calm manner and quickly shutting the door before Xia Jiaying could get a chance to try to tag along.
Tang Yazhu breathed a sigh of relief. She still needed to go to the restaurant to clarify some things. Not only that, she needed to get home before nighttime because she wanted to drop off Long Ning and bid him goodbye for his business trip.
She seriously did not expect her ruined fun to also ruin her schedule for today. This is what happens when you get nosy…
