In the VIP room of Golden Fire Hotel, Xia Jiaying was currently on the balcony. Her straight jet black hair that grew past her waistline was presently flowing along with the cold wind while her eyes were staring at the night sky filled with brightly glowing stars. However, her eyes were not appreciating the stars at all as there was apparent gloominess and worries that could be seen.
When Xia Jiaying heard the door open, she immediately went to look and see if it was Tang Yazhu - the person who saved her. Waiting for an entire day, she had been worried as she thought that the person who saved her would never come for her. But now… Here she was standing in front of the door.
Although Xia Jiaying did not know who Tang Yazhu was, she just felt that there was something with this person that made her instinctually trust her. However, if she knew that this person who had accidentally saved her actually had the guts to kill her a long time ago, who knows what her reaction would be instead.
"You're finally back!" Xia Jiaying happily called out.
Before Tang Yazhu replied to her though, she noticed the food on the table that was barely touched at all. At the same time, she also placed her purse and car keys on the coffee table as she sat on the sofa with the Xia Jiaying also following to sit on the other side.
"What are your plans? Looking at how you're dressed and with the fact that there's someone out there chasing you, I'm sure you're definitely not just the ordinary person out there," Tang Yazhu said.
Tang Yazhu did not want to expose the fact that she already knew her true identity as it would just cause even bigger problems if she casually exposed her true identity out loud.
Although it was widely known throughout the world that Xia had a princess, no one knew what she looked like as her face was never shown to the public. For Tang Yazhu, she only knew the face of Xia Jiaying and had some information was simply because of Blood Dragon Palace. In fact, having two sets of memories was quite pleasing for her since they were especially handy for hard and confusing times such as this.
"Let me introduce myself. Hello, I am the first princess of country Xia, Xia Jiaying. Me flying to this country was supposed to be kept a secret with only the higher-ups of the royal palace being known to this face. But, I do not know how this news was leaked out," she said, explaining her circumstances and at the same time letting Tang Yazhu sense the anger she was emitting from her body.
"Princess? I know that Xia has a princess, but nobody has seen her face. You should know that claiming to be a part of royalty is a serious crime, right? Do you have proof that can show you are the princess?" Tang Yazhu asked.
Even if Tang Yazhu already knew Xia Jiaying was the actual princess, she still needed affirmation in order to throw out any source of suspicions.
"Is this proof enough?" Xia Jiaying asked back after lifting a few strands of hair from her right ear to show an earring ornament.
Now, this earring was not any ordinary ornament. It was a jade-colored pearl-shaped ornament with a golden flower engraved in it.
Anyone with enough knowledge would know that this ornament was something that could only be worn by females of royalty. This was more than enough proof to confirm her identity as a princess to Tang Yazhu.
"So you're really a princess… But, a royalty like you, what are you doing here in this country?" Tang Yazhu asked while acting surprised at the fact that she was an actual princess and did not already know her identity.
However, even after learning that Xia Jiaying was a princess, Tang Yazhu did not show the proper courtesy that one should show to a princess. This was something that the princess found a bit odd.
When Xia Jiaying was in the palace, anyone who knew of her identity would immediately bow to greet her. However, Tang Yazhu acted as though her identity was nothing of importance. Well, she could neglect the small bit of disrespect anyways because it was her who had saved her.
Besides, just based on the black card and the huge amount of respect that the manager was giving her, showed that this lady was not any ordinary woman on the street.
"There's an important business deal that needs to be signed. But the one that's supposed to sign - my brother - got sick, whereas my father can't leave the country due to some circumstances. Well, that leaves only me left to deal with this business," Xia Jiaying said with a deep sigh.
Xia Jiaying was more worried about her sick brother than the business deal. Many people in the palace may call her a pampered princess, but she had long known more about the happenings in the palace compared to other people.
Tang Yazhu understood her situation very well just from hearing the words she spoke. The crown prince had always been sickly from childhood and could not easily leave the country or else he could be ambushed and assassinated.

If the royal palace ever found out their princess was currently washing vegetables, they would definitely vomit liters of blood or bang their head on the wall.
"Right, I've been talking to you for a while now, but I still don't know your name. What's your name?" Xia Jiaying asked, washing the leafy vegetables.
"Oh, sorry for the late introductions. I'm Ren Bao," Tang Yazhu casually told her.
