The next day Karin woke up feeling refreshed, it's been a very long time since she felt this good, even when waking up she couldn't help but be amazed at how comfortable she was. Karin slowly opened her eyes and froze as she found that she had her head resting on top of a blond-haired boy lap, her mind short-circuited as she didn't remember right away what happened, but after a few seconds, she finally assembled all the pieces of the puzzle together once more.
She slowly raised her head a little and saw the boy seemed to be asleep while sitting against a tree, it was the same boy that let her eat to her full last night, he was the first person other than her mom that had shown care and kindness towards her, remembering how she had wolfed all the food he had prepared while she didn't even know his name made her blush deeply.
Kayle that was already awake closed his eyes as soon as Karin woke up, he has used a cover to make sure she didn't catch a cold and let her head rest on his leg as she didn't bring any pillow with him.
Kayle: 'Good thing I closed my eyes quickly! it would be awkward if she saw me awake... I just have to wait for her to stand up now that she is awake and I'll pretend to wake up a few minutes later... I'm such a genius!'
Karin: 'I'm feeling so comfortable like this... it's been so long since I only could rely on myself... now that I can enjoy a little warm I won't let go of it'

Hearing this Karin had her eyes shine brightly, the boy wanted to feed her once more! she couldn't help but question herself if the boy he an angel? After that, she finally stood up to give Kayle enough space to cook but made sure to stay by his side. Kayle quickly summoned a few ingredients and a pan, he then slowly started making pancakes.
As Kayle was cooking, Karin noticed a change in her soundings, she always knew that she was always more sensitive to the presences around her but right now she saw the world in a totally different way. Karin was able to feel different chakras over a vast distance, as well as perceive any unusual chakra activity within a radius of several kilometres
This discovery made her feel overwhelmed for several minutes but she quickly adapted to it and started exploring her new abilities. First, she started looking for her two teammates but she didn't find any trace of their chakra in the big radius she could sense. After that, she focused on her close surrounding and quickly found that that there were no other teams too close for them which helped her relax.
Kayle: "It's ready"
As she heard Kayle's call her focus got disturbed and her sensing ability was canceled, Karin could feel that she had exhausted a good part of her mental energy but she knew she could activate that sensing technique once more if needed, she didn't lose it but only turned it off due to the lack of focus.
Kayle: "I have some honey and peanut butter, you can choose what you want"
