The next morning Kayle woke up with a slight headache, he looked around him confused as he didn't have any memories of falling of asleep, after washing his face, he started thinking hard about what happened yesterday and memories started appearing once more, he was with Terumi Mei, they were in a very delicate situation.
Kayle touched his lips with his right hand as he blushed.
Kayle: 'Did we kiss? we kissed didn't we?...I-I..., What happened? I can't remember anything... my last memories are us almost kissing...'
Kayle quickly inspected his body, he was wearing the same clothes, with only his shirt being off, he quickly concluded that they didn't do anything more than kissing even if he had a few doubts.
Kayle: 'Did she take advantage of me while I was unconscious? that damn witch...'
Outside of the Inn, Terumi Mei woke up at around the same timing, she too had her thoughts wander not understanding how she ended up there...
Terumi Mei: 'What the hell happened? I was with Kayle... We-we...WAIT! did I spent the whole night in the streets ?'
She felt both Angry and humiliated as she couldn't even understand what happned.
At that exact same moment, Kayle opened the window in his room and their eye locked to each other.
Kayle: 'She is here waiting for me... I don't know what she did while I was unconscious but I didn't lose any of my belongings, maybe searched my body to see if I had any mission scroll...'
Terumi Mei: 'This Damn brat threw me outside of his window... I'm sure of it...I had a room reserved in the Inn too but he didn't even have the decency to lead me to it... I feel so humiliated'
Kayle: 'I GOT TRICKED !'
Terumi Mei: 'I GOT TRICKED !'
As they came to the exact same conclusion, they both smiled at each other.
Kayle: "How was your night? did you sleep well? I had such a wonderful night... with such a deep sleep... I'm sure that nothing could wake me up"
Kayle: 'Of course I had such a night... You made me faint and I woke up with a headache'
Terumi Mei: "That's good to hear! I hope you enjoy your stay in Kirigakure... the nights are a little colder than Konoha here"
Terumi Mei: 'Of course it was cold... I slept in the streets because you threw me outside of your room like trash'
Kayle: "Hahaha! well you could have stayed here all night if you wanted this way we could warm each other"
Kayle: 'You tricked me once, but you will never trick me twice I will always keep my guard up against you... I was an idiot for underestimating the future Mizukage'
Terumi Mei: 'This damn brat... you dare to taunt me because you tricked me yesterday? don't worry I will stay on the tip of my toes whenever I'm near you'
Terumi Mei: "That sounds like such an attractive offer, I will gladly accept it"
Terumi Mei: 'You think you can win against me when I'm on guard, this will never happen!'
A fire burned into Kale's and Terumi Mei's eyes as they challenged each other, they both were very proud and refused to admit defeat not knowing that the real winner was a cat and that he was the only one with a bed to sleep on that night as even Kayle was left on the floor.
The first day was spent with both of them touring Kirigaure and eating at different places.
The first night was then spent in Kale's room, they kept a three-meter security distance between them while watching each other.
Kayle: 'Well I'm here... Last time I didn't notice a thing... if you are a real Ninja do it again with my guard up'
Kayle: "You look so energetic, big sis!"
Terumi Mei: 'Hehe... Now that I'm standing this far you don't even dare to attack me? look like you aren't that strong are you'
Terumi Mei: "You look so very healthy as well, Kayle"
After a sleepless night, the second day was spent shopping, Kayle brought a spoon for his parents and a red hat for Gaï-sensei, due to his mental exhaustion for keeping his guard up for 24 hours, his gifts choice didn't seem very optimal.
Lucky for both him and Terumi, Maru decided the restaurant they should eat at, which lead them to a good Sushi restaurant.
The second Night none of them decided to back off, they both ended inside of Kale's room, this time they didn't have enough energy to stay 3 meters apart and they had no choice rely on the small table inside of Kale's room for support their bodies from laying down.
Kayle: "You look a little tired... you should maybe go to sleep in your room, I don't want you to faint on me"
Terumi Mei: "Me? faint? don't underestimate me... I could do this for a whole week"
Terumi Mei: 'You are feeling frustrated aren't you? you can't complete your mission with me keeping an eye on you all day... hehe teach you well !'
Kayle: 'This succubus... you want me to lower my guard once more and make me lose consciousness don't you?... I don't know your objective but I'm not losing to you once more'
Their second sleepless night was spent playing UNO, at some point,(around 30 minutes into the game) they both started putting random cards onto the table not caring about neither the number nor the color, and the winner was the one without any cards.
Kale's third day into Kiragakure was spent in the fish market, for some reason (Maru) they spent the whole day there, shopping fish, eating fish, buying and re-selling fish to get more fish, working for fishermen to get free fish....
At that point, Kayle finally reached his limits.
Kayle: "I completed everything I wanted to do here, I'll be leaving right now"
Kayle: 'I came here for vacation.. now that I ate and toured it's time to leave... I don't think I can stay one more night into the enemy territory in my current state, it would be too dangerous'
Terumi Mei: "What? you are leaving already? are you sure you don't need to stay more"
Terumi Mei: 'How could you do anything under my watch? I made sure to keep an eye on him all day, maybe he is abandoning his mission?'
Kayle and Mei both walked slowly toward the exit, people around them made sure to leave a lot of space around them due to their zombie-like look and their smell.
After exiting the village and finally separating from Mei, Kayle couldn't Hold on any longer....
Kayle: "Maru... bring me to the pocket dimension... I need to sleep now"
Kayle: 'I'm so lucky to have Maru to rely on... without him, I don't think I could have enured all this alone... Damn you Mei... I trusted you for a second and look how hagged I look now''
Maru: "Sure you can count on me! that was so fun! we definitely have to come back in the future"
Meanwhile, Terumi Mei was standing in front of her village gate, with a blank look, she stayed there for around ten minutes before being brought back to reason by the feeling of cold rain on her skin.
Terumi Mei: ' Kayle... Kayle...Kayle...I won't trust you again... if you didn't betray me we could maybe have something going on....WAIT!! Why did we spend the whole day in the fish market ? This looks so fishy... did he complete his mission there without me noticing? I will need to inspect the whole place tonight! ahhh! I just want to go to sleep ~~'
