Despite the tension created due to the small conflict that happened between Kayle and the chunin from Kiri, no more accidents happened afterward, and everyone boarded the boats as they finally started advancing.
Kayle sat crossed-legged on the boat as his thoughts started roaming randomly.
Kayle POV:
In the end, I was reborn in the Naruto multiverse, too bad I don't remember my conversation with God, I don't even know if I made the choice of this world or if it was something randomized... I looked at Maru wondering if he remembered anything of our meeting with God but ended up shaking my head while sighting... well Maru is definitely an oddball but he would have definitely told me if he remembered something this important...
Maru: *Sneeze*
Well if the naruto Multiverse exists then I bet the One piece would exist too, so would harry potter and avatar, Ohh and the is full metal alchemist!!! I wonder if I could make the choice myself witch would I select?
3rd POV:
As the boat kept advancing Kayle started noticing the fog getting denser and denser, he got on high alert as he didn't know if this was caused by a Ninjutsu or it was just a natural effect. After a few minutes of observing he could notice the silhouette of a few boats getting closer and closer to their ships.
Kayle Jumped from the boat he was in and started running on the water jumping on top of the main merchant boat where Akio was standing with the two Kiri ninja next to him.
Kayle: "Look like we have company Mr. Akio, do you want me to neutralize the threat or stay here for your protection"
Akio was slightly sweating as he never liked confrontation, this was bad for business, as a veteran merchant he knew that he would only lose money whenever a confrontation happened, after thinking for a bit he made a quick decision.
Akio: "Well I think the Chunin is enough to ensure my protection, how about you both genins take the initiative, and try to handle this as much as you can"
Akio was prioritizing his protection while he wanted to reduce the loss of his merchandise as much as possible, that's why he wanted the genins to interfere before anyone could steal from his boats or even worse highjack an entire boat.
Sugai Yuu the chunin from Kiri would normally oppose such an order, as it would be more efficient for him to handle the enemies while the genins should be more than enough to take care of the protection, but he remembered Kayle opposing him and wanted to let him face a few difficulties, Sugai Yuu looked at the genin next to him and whispered.
Sugai Yuu: "Play it safe, make sure to investigate first and only fight if you are certain of winning if you feel that you'd face any danger, come back, and we will kill the enemies once they bord these ships"
Miyake Kyo nodded and Jumped off the ship as he followed Kayle, he was about to warn him to be safe and advise him to cooperate when he noticed Kayle was already far ahead of him disappearing in the fog.
Kayle POV:
I first checked that the leader Akio, once he confirmed that he didn't need my protection I felt a little relieved and excited.
Kayle: 'Good! I can finally take care of this! I assume they are mostly normal bandits with maybe a few Ninja between them'
I jumped out of the boat landing on the water, I used a little strength on my feet as I felt myself being propulsion forward at high speed with the wind hitting my face.
Kayle: 'Damn I love this feeling'
I look at my side and see Maru running on the water elegantly while going as fast as me...
Kayle: '...Why the hell is this lazy cat this talented...I almost never saw him train but look he is this fast already" *tears running down his eyes*
I've been training my body almost daily, as I am right now I can open five of the Eight Gates without injuring my body, and I can even maintain the sixth gate open for around ten minutes but this cause my muscles to tear and my bones can crack from the strain while making me exhausted. Good thing I learned medical Ninjutsu witch help fix myself after each training and optimize it.
I got slightly faster as I pulled one of my Kunais from my Ninja weapon pouch it seems like today I will finally kill my first humans...I blended with the mist as I got closer and closer to the enemies, I first made a circle around them while moving at high speed, I could see around thirty water bandits and it seemed that only seven of them were ninjas.
Judging by their aura, I would say there were four genins and three bandits around the strength of chunin, while most of the others were negligible for me.
After making sure I couldn't see anyone who could threaten me I went in a straight line towards the group of chunin.
3rd POV:
The bandits were laughing and joking between themselves as they were expecting to soon get rich after handling this operation, they had attacked this ship with only one chunin and two genins a few days ago and retreated once they knew of the strength of the bodyguards.
Bandit 1: "Haha good those idiots aren't ready for what awaits them"
Bandit 2: "Definitely, but try to capture the leader alive, make sure that the chunin can't help him escape, we have to make him talk and tell us where he hides his money"
Bandit 3: "Yes but don't kill the Ninja, he is from Kiri, they wouldn't mind failing a mission but they would send a punitive force if we kill him"
Idiot 2: "Nah... Kiri doesn't care about their Ninja... they wouldn't bat an eye even if we slaughtered everyone"
As the bandit kept talking they suddenly heard the sound of something falling to the ground, then a second and third one, as they looked up they saw three normal bandits falling down to the ground while one of them had his head rolling off his corpse until it fell into the river causing a Slash.
Shivers ran down their spine as they heightened their concentration and pulled their weapons back ready for a fight, after only a few seconds they saw a black Shadow jumping around the ship from person to person and after each jump, someone would fall dead.
Chunin 1: "WE ARE UNDER ATTACK! FIGHT TOGETHER!"
Kayle POV:
I jumped on the bandit ship and started attacking the enemies, focusing their vital organs, heart, lungs, necks,... By the time I was at my fifth kill the enemies finally started responding, a genin around thirty years old came running towards me but oh boy...you guys are really underestimating me, I moved my head to the side easily avoiding his blade, then cut his arm with my kunai before pushing it threw his eye destroying his brain.
I don't feel bad at all about killing humans, I have absolutely no remorse at all, I don't know if it's because I'm a psychopath or it's because I know that my enemies have much more innocent blood on their hands, this world is cruel if you don't have enough strength you are at the mercy of others.
The genin didn't even slow down my speed, once they saw me kill him they froze out of surprise and fear, I had just killed one of their top 7 fighters like I killed an insect everyone was shocked.
Three genins came down simultaneously while two normal bandits tried to hit me from the back, I used a little more strength on my feet jumping while doing a salt and throwing shurikens killing all five of them simultaneously and landing the moment their body touched the floor.
I smile as I'm proud of my current strength, I've been training daily, sparing with Gaï, Kakashi, Itachi, Shisui, and even Fugaku seeing the result, I'm very satisfied, I know that I've definitely surpassed a regular join, and with my taijutsu and body power I can easily keep fighting for at least several hours as killing genins and regular bandits doesn't take me any effort.
Now that I played enough it's time to finish these low-level fighters quickly, I start doing hand signs rapidly while moving my chakra inside my body.
Kayle: "Suiton Suiryuudan no Jutsu -Water draon missile-"
The river behind me takes the shape of a long eastern dragon that crashes on top of the boat throwing everyone off the boat into the river except the three bandits of the chunin level that look at me with wide eyes.
After a mere second, the three ninjas came to me simultaneously, we started exchanging fists but even three versus one I was still the one having the advantage, I estimate that they need at least one chunin to get a draw against me if we only fought using taijutsu.
Seeing that they kept backing off and getting small injuries the three of them jumped backward performing each a Jutsu,
I saw two giant rotating water spikes shooting towards me while being accelerated by a wind jutsu from the third bandit, I used a waterfall jutsu that easily blocked their combined Jutsus. Seeing that they were taking a break after using their jutsu I decided it was time to end this.
Kayle: "Suiton Pressure blade"
I used high pressure to send three blades toward my opponents at very high speed, killing one chunin immediately while injuring the other two slightly, the moment they were relieved of surviving and avoiding a fatal injury by my Jutsu they turned around trying to escape but I was already next to one of them sliding his neck cleanly with my kunai.
the last bandit looked at me horrified.
Bandit 1: "Demon! why ?! Why is a join here for such a mission ?"
I smiled at him reassuring him.
Kayle: "Jonin ? I don't...."
Bandit *head fall*
Kayle: "..."
Maru: '... what?'
Kayle: "I couldn't even tell him that I was only a genin... you killed him too early"
Maru: 'Didn't you learn anything from your past life? less talking and finish cleanly your enemies, leave the talking part to the villans'
Kayle: "..."
