"No, not this!"
"Why don't I have anything to wear?"
"Aaargh!"
I sat on my bed confused. I had no idea what I was going to do. Why was meeting Lloyd making me so nervous?
"Wow, what is happening here?" My mother asked, walking in. "This is not like you, what's going on?"
"I need to attend a class get together and I have nothing to wear," I said, burying my head in the pile of clothes I had thrown on the floor.
"Seems to me like you are simply overthinking things," my mother said.
"Probably."
"Is there someone you want to please?" She asked, sitting down beside me.
"What? No...not at all," I replied looking up at her.
"Huh, okay," she said. "So where is this get together, to begin with?"
"At a friend's place," I said finally sitting up. "They thought it would be a good idea to help me know more of my school mates and blah blah blah."
"Well, do you really want to go?"
