It's night time, perfect! Time to see what this beast has to offer tonight. Tonight is the night i shall break her, tonight is the night i shall find out what makes this creature tick, tonight is the night i shall find a cure for uncurable illnesses and ailments. All thanks to this marvelous creature lying unconscious infront of me.
Some might think I'm crazy and cruel, but what they don't realize is that one has to make sacrafices in the name of science in order for great things to be achieved. People will admire me for what i have accomplished in a period of a few months! Finally i would have a cure for my brother's sick mind.
Back to basics, before i get too carried away, again.
Thorns, as far as the eye could see. It's whole body is incased in thorns. Only her upper arms and abdominal region is clear. Her hands are pitch black, fading all the way up her arms into a blueish, almost deathly, white.
Her raven hair long and extremely soft. I've never seen something like this in my entire life.
Her eyes are open but no light has appeared in them yet. Her orbs are dark as night and glossy. Her whole body is stil, not a single hair is out of place for my extraordinary breakthrough tonight!
"Jocelyn, her heartbeat, please. " i have to wait until the time is right, otherwise this is all for naught.

Almost there. Just a bit lower, so the drug i gave her wouldn't wear off too soon. I need the creature at its most vulnerable state.

Perfect! I reach for my scalpel and some scissors. I feel as excited as a little boy on his birthday in a toy store. The sharp blade slices through her skin like a hot knife through butter.

Oh no! What's happening! The creature's whole body started to shake.
"What's happening Jocelyn? "
"I really don't know, sir. Her heartrate is skyrocketing out of the blue! She's burning up! "
This can't be happening, this can't be happening, this CAN'T BE HAPPENING!
MONTHS of work and WAITING, all gone!
"The reverse drug, quick! " Jocelyn handed me a small cyringe, one milliliters to be precise. The thin, long object is loaded with a radioactive green serum. I hope this works.....
"Ready sir. " i inject the serum slowly into the creature's main artery. After a few minutes her body stopped shaking, she is now as stil as before. She could easily pass for a lifeless thing. The now empty cyringe felt so heavy in my hand. What have i done? I destroyed my only chance for glory and fortune.
