Lola walked into her Marine Biology classroom to see a boy with brown hair talking to Professor Perry.
"Leo?" Lola asks as she walks towards them.
Leo turned around and smiled.
"Hey Lola," Leo says.
"What are you doing here?" Lola asks.
"I was catching up with Professor Perry," Leo says as Professor Perry smiles.
Lola looked confused.
"He was a student of mine last year," Professor Perry says, getting up. "You should probably head to class soon or else you'll be late."
Leo looks at his watch.
"Shoot! I gotta run, talk to you later Professor Perry," Leo says. "See ya Lola!" Leo adds as he runs out of the classroom.
"This kid," Professor Perry says, shaking his head. "He's a great kid but sometimesโฆ"
Lola smiles and takes her seat. A few minutes later, the rest of the students came in.
"Hello students," Professor Perry says. "Today is a very important day, so I hope you all stay glued to your seat," he adds, eyeing some students.
Some students began nudging each other while others let out laughs.
"We'll be discussing your first project," Professor Perry says. "As you all know, you're required to have at least 10 hours of volunteering by the end of this semester."
"10 hours?!" a student exclaimed. "That much?!"
"Looks like not all of you read the course requirements before signing up," Professor Perry says with a sigh. "This course is indeed easy but it still requires work."
Some students started complaining, while Lola sat listening attentively.
"You're all required to volunteer at an aquarium or an aquatic museum. If not, find something to do that relates to our field of study," Professor Perry explains.
"Would volunteering at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. count?" a boy in the back of the classroom asked.
Professor Perry looked confused.
"And how is that related to Marine Biology?" he asked.
"Well, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. sells fish and chips."
"And that is related becauseโฆ?"
"We're learning about fish in marine biology."
Professor Perry shook his head as some of the students busted out in laughter from the boy's response.
"What on Earth, Levi," Professor Perry eventually said once the class calmed down. "You know what I meant."
Levi shrugged.
"I was just making sure," he said.
Lola had been listening to Professor Perry when she began to zone out.

Lola thought as she recalled the boy's brown hair and hazel-brown eyes.
"Wait a minuteโฆ" Lola quietly said. "He looks a lot like-"
"Did you have something you wanted to add, Lola?" Professor Perry asked as he stopped lecturing.
Lola looked up as her cheeks turned a light shade of red. Realizing that she had been thinking out loud, she sat up slightly straighter.
"No I don't," Lola responded calmly.
"Then I'll continue with where I left off," Professor Perry said as he resumed his lectures.
As Professor Perry continued on with his lecture, Lola's mind began to wonder about the boy.
