To make it more convenient for me, Hans moves my things to the ground floor and sets up one of the spare rooms as a bedroom for me so I don't have to move around so much.
"And here is your gift for returning home." He announces as if he is on TV.
I can't help laughing, "We returned together Hans."
"Shhhh." He says as he gestures to the delivery men who are behind him.
They bring in a huge box and I stare in confusion. What is it that it has such a huge box? Is it a new oven or something? It's really big.
As I sit on the sofa and watch them open up the box, my eyes widen before I laugh.
"A scooter? I haven't broken a leg Hans."
"The doctor specifically said that you can't move around a lot at this stage so if you use the scooter, you can move how much you want and go wherever you want to without a worry."
Hans is so thoughtful. I smile, "Thank you so much."
"Can you do me a favour please Hans?" I ask, suddenly remembering that I left my laptop upstairs and the battery has probably died. "I left my laptop upstairs."
He smiles and nods, "I'll get it for you Tina."
I lean back and my eyes close as I dose off. Apparently the tiredness I feel is normal during pregnancy. We haven't told Dad or Mint about it. I don't know how I would approach the subject.
Of course Dad and Mint came to see us earlier as soon as they heard about the accident but because the doctors couldn't find our IDs when we first arrived at the hospital, they didn't call any of our relatives.
Hans and I agreed to let Dad and Mint know after we returned home so they don't have to worry. We truthfully told them we only suffered minor injuries whilst hiding the other half of the truth.
When I open my eyelids again, Hans is sitting down and plugging my laptop into charge. As the screen flashes open, my hands grow clammy with nervousness. Don't tell me I left that tab open.
His eyes glance at the screen as he reads and the image pops up. He slams the laptop shut and stands up, turning to me. I know he is angry.
"What was that Tina?! Panda King? Why are you still searching about him? He caused you to leave and you're still worrying about that guy?!" His forest green eyes are dark as they widen and he steps closer to me, "Don't tell me that bastard...!"
Fuming, he runs out of the room and all I can do is shout after him as I hear the front door bang shut. Worried and anxious, I know I can't just sit here and do nothing. Slowly, I stand up and walk out of the house. If what I am thinking is right, Hans will cause more trouble than I will be able to bear at the moment.
I manage to call a taxi and tell the driver to drive quickly to the King Company. I pay him and climb out, facing the large building complex. Sure enough, I see Hans' brown hair at the front desk.
I am already panting a little after brisk walking inside to try and catch up to him so I can stop him but I am a few steps behind as he runs into the elevator, ignoring the security guard chasing after him.
What I am afraid of the most is Panda hating me for deceiving him. I know I deserve it but I know my heart won't be able to bear his disgust and hatred. I have to stop Hans and Panda from meeting at any cost. Hans is so angry right now that I have a feeling he would kill Panda right here.
It is all my fault for falling in love with a cold man like Panda King and not being able to let go of him. I shake my head. I don't have time for regrets.
Stepping into the elevator I press the button for Panda's office. I don't think anyone recognises me as they don't pay attention when I pass by.
The thuds and bangs from inside Panda's office tell me that I am too late already. Hans is already raging inside. As I peek in, my mouth hangs open at the sight of Hans with his hands around a shocked Panda's throat. If I don't stop him, he will end up killing Panda!
The security guard who was chasing Hans before is knocked out on the ground. Right now, Hans is a dangerous tiger. Hopefully, he will listen to me.
Bravely, I walk inside the office. Panda isn't looking too good. His face is pale and his lips are changing colour. I have to act fast.
"Hans, let him go. This has nothing to do with him!" I say loudly. "If you don't, he's going to die. Look!"
Hans stares at me in surprise but his fingers don't loosen. "What are you doing here Tina? You can't move too much."
I stare at him cynically, "You're worried about me when someone else is dying by your hands? Get a grip Hans. Panda has nothing to do with anything."
"I am sure he does! He did this to you Tina, I won't forgive him!" He says angrily.
I need to quickly calm him down to make him loosen his grip. What should I do? If I wasn't being careful right now, I would have knocked him out with a hit on his head but I can't do that.
"Ow!" I gasp as I fall onto my knees, "It hurts!" I moan loudly, "Hurts so much!" I cry, acting to the best of my ability.
Hans' eyes waver to me as the anger is replaced by worry. "Tina! Hold on, I'll call an ambulance!" He rushes over to me. I continue acting for a while longer until I see Panda King regain himself.
My shoulders slump in relief and I faint in Hans' arms.
