Shikatani, Toono, and I hurried through the rain back down the path. We had to be careful not to slip. Toono was panicking because of the thunder, but I was helping to calm him down. (y/n) and Yacchan were a little behind, but we couldn't hear them in the storm. They had only tumbled into the tree a few seconds ago though. "(y/n)! Yaguchi! Are you okay?!" Shikatani shouts back into the trees.
No response. I can't see them anywhere.
"They have to be okay..." he mutters before screaming out again, "(Y/N)! YAGUCHI!" He comes to a stop, he's trembling for more reasons than just the cold. "Are they lost? It can't be... They fell down the hill. Ito-chan we have to find them!"
As worried as I am right now, we have to stay calm and think rationally. "Calm down, Shika-chan. It's useless. Mido-sensei said it too."
"But it was only a second ago. If we just look..." He furrows his brows, his purple orbs are clouded with panic.
"No. We have to go back!" I grab his shoulders, yelling it out at him. My hands are trembling.
"But I'm a third year... I have to..." Tears are streaming down his face.
"You're wrong. I'm the group leader. I take all the blame. We need to go back and tell the teachers, they're waiting for us." He nods, and we make our way back to the group.

I shuffle my hand through my wet, blue locks. "Ugh, the rain is so annoying!" But I admit it feels nice against my shoulders, though (y/n) would probably scold me for wearing just my tank with my jacket wrapped around my waist. I can't wait until they get back. Yuri and Toru follow behind me, our group had only barely left when the rain kicked in.
Upon my arrival though, Konno-sensei runs up to me, "Have you seen anyone from Group E come back yet?"
"Huh? Nope," I hadn't seen any of them. But it seemed some of them beat us back. "Why do you ask? I mean I heard a loud noise that way, but it's pouring out here."
When I finally got a good look at Konno's face I saw how nervous he was. "That's because two of the students are missing." I froze up. I had to find the rest of their group and know who. If only (y/n) had just come with Yuri and I, then I'd at least know they were safe.

I just hoped they would find them soon, I couldn't control my worrying anymore. "Shikatani-senpai!" Kashima called out to me. He was out of breath as he appeared by my side, "Toono told me what happened, are you okay?"
I nodded, "The teachers are looking for them. But there's no signal, so we can't try calling them in this weather. For now, we just have to wait."
"I see," he looked really down. "You should go rest."
"I'm fine!" I spit. How can I when I don't know what's happened to them?
"Shikatani-senpai, don't worry. They'll come back. For now, wipe off your glasses." I nodded. Feeling comforted by his attempt to reassure me.

Mido-sensei was patching up my injury, scolding me for not staying put. It's not like I got injured on purpose, besides it wasn't really a big deal. "I'm perfectly fine, it doesn't even hurt!"
"Still, you should have been careful!" He hissed, but his mood soon brightened, "Ah, that's right! It's almost your birthday, right? What do you want? After all, you'll be fifteen!"
"But I'm not fifteen." I'm seventeen. I guess my height was still getting people mixed up. What a joke.
But my attention is soon drawn to the noisy crowd. I spotted Matsuoka and shouted at him, "Hey, did something happen?"
He turns my way, "Akemi! It seems people from group E got separated and they're missing now."
I flipped out, "What? Who's missing?!"
"I don't know yet, but..." I shoved past him and started running.
I started to shove through the crowds. 'Please.., let them be alright.' "Move! Let me through, god dammit!" I see Itome and freeze. The tears immediately start pouring down my face.
"Mi-chan..." he calls me, he's just as scared.
"What happened? Who's missing?"
"(y/n) and Yaguchi-kun." My heart clenches in my chest. 'No...' My shaking hand reaches out and grabs the wet fabric of his shirt.

I see Tamura-senpai looking around the trees. He starts to head in when I call out to him. "Where are you going?"
He nearly jumps in surprise. He glares at me, "You think I'm going to sit around and wait on the teachers?!"
"It's dangerous down that way, at least take the path over there." He eyes me curiously. "Let's go together."
"Why do you want to go?" He hisses at me.
"Let's just say (y/n) is a precious senpai of mine, and Kyosuke's my cousin. I can't let anything happen to him." He nodded, and we started to make our way to the other path.
"Stop right there!" Akemi demands. "You know full well you have to wait until the rain stops before we go looking for them." He passed us some raincoats, "Now put these on, you're getting soaked."
Tamura easily stands up to him, "Shut up, kid. We can do whatever we want."
He glared up at us, "It'll be impossible and you know it. You'll only increase the number of missing people." I had to admit, he did have a way of making you feel guilty. He shoved us back up towards the others, "It'll be fine. Just wait. The rain is already letting up." It's quiet for a moment, "I'm not doing this because I want to be mean, you know. I know exactly how you feel right now. It's hard when you want to do something for the person you like."
