Chapter 12 - Chapter 11

Josh woke Josh woke up at midnight. His capsule regulated the temperature to make the gaming experience the best. He woke up cause he needed to go to the bathroom

He looked at the time and it was 1:00 a.m. Josh was still tired and laid down on his bed, it felt nice compared to sleeping against a tree.

He woke up 7:30 and badly cooked his breakfast, his cooking was bad and it was the best way to start a day for him ... since he knew it wouldn't get any worse than that.

Josh's mom left their room and . "Start reading your books, There's gonna be school next month"

Josh was normally confident, however he almost failed to score perfectly on his test (back at chapter 7), so he grabbed his wallet, asked his mom for 1000 dollars and asked to his dad, " Dad can I use your car? "

Josh's father was watching TV and turned his head, " Why do you always want to use my car? "

"People keep asking me out" Josh said while his face looked like it was saying 'duh'

"You do know that you can just enter the car and not have to ask me to use it right?"

" I just want you to know "

Josh used his fingerprint instead of waiting for 20 seconds to have his face fully scanned.

The car was large and it had enough space to contain 8 people.

Josh was already at the mall in less than 10 minutes, almost every car had autodrive and this made traffics almost non-existent.

Josh exited the car and the car went to the parking lot, Josh didn't have to search the whole parking lot to find the car cause it sends a message on his phone on where it is.

Josh entered the mall and unsurprisingly had thousands of people at just the ground floor,

Josh looked at the Mall's map and the bookstore was 240 meters away from where Josh is.

"Wow... He's so cute" Josh heard girls chattering, Josh ignored them and went to a train like transportation in the side of the mall, it moved 10meters per second and was used as a mode of transportation (Let's call it "Horizontal Elevator")

4 minutes, most would think it's a small amount of time, but when doing boring things it feels longer. It was just because the brain was unfocused and thought of multiple things like how many seconds passed, a focused brain could make an hour feel like 10 minutes.

' I'll buy Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Should I also buy thermodynamics and fluid dynamics ? ' Josh wondered.

He only bought everything he thought and each of the books cost 100 dollars each so he only had about 500 dollars and Josh was confused, 'Why the hell do these cost so much ? '

He used the Horizontal Elevator back, used the Vertical Elevator and went to the food court, he ordered Chicken, Steak, and two slices of chocolate cake. He was "stress eating" (more like having a fiesta).

He enjoyed looking down on people, and he was on the second floor so he sat on the table next to the window and looked down on the thousands of people in the ground floor, he looked like a king in the castle looking at the capital from his window.

He went soon back home stuffed to the brim with food and started reading the biology book, it was like the information was food and Josh Riley was ... Josh Riley. The book had 200 pages and Josh read the first 50, he memorized all of it and started testing himself. Once he answered everything perfectly, he again tested himself this time the questions were jumbled. He repeated this process with 100th, 150th, 200th, the process took 3 continuous days of waking up, eating breakfast, studying, eating lunch, studying, snacking, studying, eating, testing himself.

It was the same for Chemistry, he didn't get burned out since if he gets interested in the chemical reaction he'll search in the internet and see if it was as cool as the reaction sounded, it took him 4 days to finish the book and to perfect his self made tests.

Physics was different, the book had topics Josh already knew and started reading Thermodynamics, the thermodynamics was something that Josh hadn't studied before so he didn't know what the formulas meant for 5 days.

Josh read fluid dynamics, it was easier since if he didn't understood something he'll experiment with water until he finds the conclusion conclusive and finished in 4 days.

Josh still had two weeks before school and used one to again memorize all of the books, and the last one to test himself.
