Josh went to the world that he enjoyed. He woke up in the forest mid-day where he looked for goblins to hunt. Josh had no idea why, but he liked the idea of slaughtering goblins and getting stronger from his cruel behaviour. I suppose he could blame the entire existence of the game for that.
He found one goblin running through the forest. However, compared to the goblins he saw last month, this one looked more imposing: this one was bulkier, wore some leather armour and had a dagger.
Josh aimed for goblin's head and shot bullets of water at the speed of 150 metres per second. -Shoooo!- The sound of it flying past the air was sharp.
-Splat!- The water bullet got blocked by the trees in the thick forest and the goblin was notified of Josh's prescence.
The goblin's luck had ended as it dashed straight at Josh, Josh fired off a water bullet and hit the goblin's head, stunning it. "You should have gone for cover." Josh finished the goblin off, firing small consecutive water bullets as the ugly monster groaned in pain.
[You have gained 2000 experience points for killing a lower class goblin]
[ Dealt 2500 damage,] At this point in time, Josh had started to ignore the damage notifiers. "Too annoying..." He complained.
What he said was true, for the damage multiplier was useless when he could just endlessly shoot the things to eliminate them. It was at times like these that Josh wished that Lothaedan was less game-like.
"This place is starting to get me lonely..." He finally noticed the effects of solitude. Sure, he could talk to the elves in the village, but they weren't players who know of his experiences and struggles. And so he decided the best way to cure his loneliness: Going to a highly populated town where it was bound for countless players to be.
He went back to the library and asked for a map, and he saw a city about 25 km North away from the village and he set out to go there. Josh planned on going to another area and postpone the quest for a while because of the unclear quest clear condition. It took him 10 in-game hours of running and was tired, he saw a city get bigger in his perspective and he can finally have contact with players.
Josh walked up to the city entrance and was questioned by guards
"Where are you from, why do you look like that?"
"I am unable to say where I came from as I was running from bandits when I was traveling"
"Are you a nomad?"
Josh answered "...Yes?" It was the best word to use when he had to hide the about where the elven village was hidden. The guards finally opened the gates for him, and he went to a city of humans. And because he was an elf it was clear that a lot of people looked at him as if he was a luxurious pet. This was because of his rare features of: Clear blue eyes that have a greenish tint in the outskirts of his eye; and medium length golden blonde hair. This stood out because he looked different from humans, who had brown hair and brown eyes...
