Josh went home as soon as he could, he was inclined to read about the mages class as fast as he could. Josh may have no reason for reading, but he always considers himself knowledgeable and not knowing of his own class makes his face frown.
Kacchiik-
The creaking of the door was easily heard, it wasn't because the hinges of doors of his house were rusting- no that couldn't happen because Josh's dad had the hinges changed once a week and the door itself once a month. The reason for it was because the house was quiet, normally he hears his dad watching the tv by then, "Guess he's on overtime huh". Josh locked the doors and went to the kitchen, he forgot his lunch and looked for it. "There it is" Josh saw the lunchbox untouched in the counter.
He quickly grabbed his lunchbox like it was a life saving potion and reached for his phone to read.
[Mages need to ma-nage their Mana and use it at situations where it is most advantageous to do. Mages can have incantations used to improve the overall effect of their spells, incantations are like prayers to the elemental gods and need to be said before using a skill. Mages mostly use their stat points on Intelligence and fully reading a book increases intelligence at a sufficient amount.]
Josh only realized it after he finished reading that he already finished his food, realizing that he threw what before was like a life saving potion to trash to throw. Josh threw the lunchbox and rushed to his capsule.
[Due to your untimely end your respawn points is in South Arcane city]
Josh ignored the system and ran to an open field, he was excited to try out his spell and tried to think of a good incantations but every single one of the things he thought were cringy. Josh ran to an open field and started to start an 'incantation', Oh, elemental gods please bless my spell with your utmost power and blow away the sight in front of me, Fire ball"
[The elemental gods are laughing while blessing you with some power, your attack will deal 2% wind attack damage, 2% Water damage 2% Earth damage, and your attack will have an increased damage by 5%]
The fire ball increased in size and was shot at and faded slowly, after the first attack Josh could feel the wind blow to his direction and if somebody where completely still they could feel a miniscule shake from the ground and the atmosphere feel more damp. "The hell that's it?" Josh questioned what the gods even did. [The gods are laughing at your incantation]
Josh could feel like the gods where laughing at him, they obviously looked down on Josh and didn't care if he could hear them or not. It was a feeling he made his classmates from previous years feel.
Josh wanted to kick their ass, but them being called god is meant that no matter what Josh did he would be always have his power in the distance of the ground and heaven. So he did what nobody would do, burn his surroundings. "Fire Ball" he compressed it to a small ball and threw it to the ground exploding instead of fading like the fire ball earlier.
Josh started walking to the same forest he died in, he walked their to regain every Mana he lost. It was to be said that he expected that, but not to that extent where they could laugh at him like Josh was a jester. Of course, Josh was the one who thought of that, they laughed at Josh but not like he was a comedian, the believers of the gods could feel the amount of emotions, not feel what type of emotion, and that if they don't control their laughter their believers would panic from amount of emotions he had.
'They're like humans, except that there are more restrictions for them. Hell I'd personally enjoy looking down from that view.', by look down Josh meant to see himself above everyone else.
[Gods believe you have a superiority complex]
'Damn it they can read my mind? If they can then why didn't they feel my anger.'
...
Josh saw smoke, he thought that there were hunters around and walked towards the smoke. The only reason Josh walked towards them was to know where monsters were abundant in.
Fwaaap- Klack
"What?" Josh looked back to see a goblin shot in the head with an arrow just 15 meters behind him. "That was a great shot" Josh looked at the direction where the arrow was shot, only to see a goblin about to shoot him.
Fwaap- Klack
The arrow didn't even come near him, and hit the dead goblin's corpse "This guy sucks what the hell?" Josh laughed at the goblin's attempts to use a bow and arrow that barely could even get close to him. Eventually the arrows of the goblin ran out and Josh fired a shot, "Fire arrow". The shot also didn't come near the goblin, Josh's face couldn't twist anymore with the face he's making. "Ah fuck it, AAAAAAAAAAAA" Josh charged at the goblin and prepared to use a water bullet, 'turn off enhanced hearing', the water bullet finished charging and sped up to the goblin [You have used up all of your mana], The water bullet shot past the goblin's skull. The speed of the water bullet was unknown as it was faster than Josh's eyes could see.
Josh ignored the huge hole put in the goblin's head and ran for the forest
....
[You have regained all of your mana]
.....
"Huff..huff, finally!", Josh entered the forest. His breaths were laboured and he couldn't see any monsters, he walked around to regain his breath and to look for mobs to gain exp from.
Leveling up wasn't Josh's reason to play but it would definitely help in finding and doing what he genuinely wanted to do in the game. Josh had enough time to rest and his hunting could begin.
