Prologue

Athrenue.

A land which composed of different numbers of towns, guilds, cities and even kingdoms. This land is widely known on its beautiful land and sceneries that is open to foreigners and its own population.

But what made Athrenue well-known to different lands was the institute that trains and makes numerous of skilled sorcerers/sorceresses, warriors/virago, knights, paladins and even kings and queens. There's no well-known individual in the world that didn't flourished from the institute's walled; they are known to train people to their best up to the current timeline.

This said institute was named 'Althea'.

It is a large educational institution that also has room for every student to stay. It is known for its exceptional beauty inside and out and it was founded for nearly two hundred years ago.

In Athrenue, near to the Kingdom of Haco and the fallen Kingdom of Aravas, there is a specific forest called Venile.

In the middle of the said forest, a wandering lady with her black cloak walks forward. Her black hair ends around her shoulders swayed at the gentle pace of the wind. Her body is covered by her cloak and the footsteps from her black boots left traces on the muddy ground that was caused by the rain that stopped early that day.

She stopped on her tracks when she felt a strong energy of magic not too far away from her. An energy that belongs to not one but thousands of individuals.

"So I am near..." She mumbled.

The figure looked back and her cloak fled not too high, revealing the fitted black upper and lower clothes that hugged her body. Brown belts was seen encircled on her waist and left tight, as well as her right shoulder. Her black boots made her taller for a few inches but what really made her absorbing was her face.

It is covered by bandages. It's as if her face burned but it wasn't the only thing that was covered in slightly rough texture of medical fabric. It is also seen on her both hands, legs, shoulders—more specifically, her whole body is covered by this bandage that made her uncanny. The only thing that belongs to her body that which can be seen was her hair. The silky black hair that flutters with the wind.

"Am I really doing the right decision?" She questioned herself. She sighed because she can't seem to come into a final decision at the last hour and just looked around the forest "Where the hell are they? Did they got caught by a gigantic mouse or what?"

"V… Violet..!"

A tired girl, huffing, ran towards the bandaged lady-which she called Violet. She wore a long cloak similar to what Violet wore. She has her pale skin and her blue long hair's strands stuck to her neck and face which was drenched in sweat.

"Ginger..." Violet mumbled the name of the girl. "Where are the others? And why are you exhausted? Did you fight with a tree?"

The girl named Ginger looked at Violet ridiculously. "Why would I even fight with a defenseless tree? What do you think of me? A crazy woman?"

Violet just turned her back to Ginger.

'Well, that's what I really think of you.'

"By the way..." Ginger stood up, when she had collected the air she needed. "The three already headed to Althea. We already found an underground route directed there."

Violet was surprised at what she said. "You did?" She asked and Ginger nodded as answer. The odd lady can't help but to scoff. "Look at this Althea... Building paths underground that is easily seen by the types of them."

Ginger's eyebrows furrowed. "Is that a compliment for us?"

Violet stopped and thought for an answer for a while. 'Should I say that it wasn't a compliment?' She gulped. 'Nevermind. Let's just go with the business.'

She faced Ginger and walked pass her to lead. "Let's go. The earlier we leave, the better."

"Hey, what?" Ginger blinked as Violet passed by her. "You're not gonna answer my question?"

"The headmaster must have been cooking a feast for us so let's hurry."

"Hey! Can't you answer my question first?!"

The two figures faded as they walk farther away from the middle to the end of the forest. The footsteps that they left slowly disappeared without a trace.

Unknown to them, there behind a tree-miles away from them, a silhouette faded into thin air.
