'It was too much for her. I should have known. I should have stopped her... She lost control and almost killed everyone in the school with the Purge of Peace... She needs some training... For now, I'll return so she can recover... I shouldn't have pushed her... Lady Lillian would be disappointed in me.' The man from the ring scolded himself.
"*cough cough*," Kellian thought for a bit. 'I did all this? Are they dead?' Kellian kicked one over. 'No, he's breathing. How... strange... Humans can't do that right? That man must know what just happened. I should ask... No, I feel like there's something more important to think about... The guys!!!' Kellian immediately sprung up and ran over to them.
When she found them they were barely alive, on the verge of death. All three of them were dying and quickly.
"NO! Nononono!!! You all have to be okay! You guys can't leave me too!!! You! Can! Not! Die! I'd do anything... please!!! Please just be okay!!!"
She ran over to Ryder first since he was the most injured. When she looked at his wounds and listened to his haggard breathing tears began pouring out her eyes.
"Mister! Mister! Can you help him!? Please!!! Please talk to me!!! You can help him right!? Your magic can heal him right!?!?"
'...' He remained quiet.
"Why are you quiet!? Why aren't you talking to me!?"
'I'm sorry. You are number 1. Your life comes first. I don't have enough mana to materialise and if I use you as a medium you'll die. I'm sure Lady Lillian would also stop you from helping them. You can't. You must move on... But your pain is too much to bear... Please...stop...my heart is aching... Wait no! what are you— No you can't you can't possibly use that spell!!! Please don't—' He was talking to himself pretending to talk to Kellian.
"Huh? My hands they're glowing... It feels warm and... nice. Is this Mister helping me? Do I touch Ryder with this?" Kellian placed her hands on Ryder's chest.
"Ahhhhhh!!!!" Bruises and cuts appear on Kellian which begin to bleed as she screams and cries in pain.
She gasps and pants from the pain, "It... worked."
"It hurts so much though... but he's healed. Leo! I can heal you now!!!" She immediately turns her attention to Leo who was bleeding out and repeats the process. His arms grow back as Kellian receives deep gashes on her arms that bleed profusely.
She does the same for Dexter which caused her severe pain all over.
After it was all over she looked at the three boys. They looked like nothing had ever happened. You could never tell these three were on the verge of death a few minutes ago.
Kellian was happy and relieved they were alive and well. Just unconscious. She took a break to recover from the pain and exhaustion she felt.
Leo was the first to gain consciousness. He was sort of out of it. He wasn't quite sure of what was happening but then he saw Kellian. She was covered in wounds head to toe and bleeding a lot but yet was somehow still standing trying to catch her breath.
When she saw Leo awake she said, "You're... all fine... I'm... glad...I....saved you...guys... from...death..."
She then collapsed causing Leo to panic and run over to her.
Meanwhile.
"That glowing! This isn't possible there's just no way... How could this be!? I need to do something!" Jinx started running around her witch hut.
Back with Leo and the others.
Leo remembered everything. He was confused about why he had arms then he thought about it and began to cry. He believed Kellian took their pain and wounds away. Therefore, healing them but she took them upon herself which left her in her current state. Which was true.
People discovered the scenes and called the police. An hour and a half later the police arrived. Ryder and Dexter were awoken by the sound of sirens.
"What's happening?" Ryder asked as he yawned and rubbed his eyes.
"She... She healed us...We... were supposed to be dead... But... She fixed us... But... Look at her... She wouldn't have been like this if she let us die... But she didn't... She...took our pain and wounds away." Leo cried.
"Doesn't that mean she should be dead?" Ryder asked.
"...It does," Dexter answered.
"But she's alive, isn't she? So shut up. Stop crying. We're going to get her help." Ryder, he picked her up.
"...Okay," Leo replied.
"Excuse me could we ask you a couple of questions?" A police officer asked.
"I'll stay, you two take care of her." Leo smiled.
Ryder took her to the hospital where her more severe wounds were treated under Ryder's supervision. This was because they were complaining about her being a human and Ryder feared they would mistreat her.
Afterwards, Ryder had to bring her home since the hospital refused to keep her there.
When they arrived at Ryder's house his mother was waiting for him.
"Why the hell are you home so late!?" She yelled angrily as soon as she saw him. Then she noticed Dexter holding an injured human girl. "...And what are you doing with that ugly thing? You can't possibly intend on bringing that into my home!?" She said with disgust.
"I can and I will. Oh and this isn't your house."
"You will not talk to me that way!!! How dare you!? I am your mother! I refuse to let you bring that disgusting piece of human trash in here!!!" She screamed like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
"What's going on?" Tyler Rhodes came out annoyed. Her screams were disturbing his work.
"D-darling!"
"Father."
"Ryder brought home an injured human!"
"Don't be silly. Why would Ryder bring home an injured...human?" Tyler then noticed the injured Kellian.
"Oh. My. Gosh. My baby! What the hell did Ryder to you!? Come to me, darling!!!" He ran over to her then took her from Dexter. He brought her up to the room he forbid anyone from entering and placed her on the bed. The others followed behind.
"What the hell are you doing Ryder!? Why aren't you summoning that blasted witch!!!"
"I—"
"What are you hesitating for!? I don't think you understand how serious this is. If this girl dies. You die. You better fix her. I need an explanation after the witch sees Kellian.
"Jinx, can you heal her?"
"I... What?"
"Huh?"
"Hold on... I need some time to figure out what's wrong."
"Okay."
Ryder told his father what Jinx said then explained what he knew. Tyler was pissed and immediately contacted the police force and investigation team to figure out what happened.
A day past and everyone was now watching the news.
"Breaking News! Yesterday there was an attack on the Alpha, Delta and Beta at Werewolf Academy. Police believe it was an organized attack from the Chaos Order Organisation. They believe that the organisation recruited students from the school itself for this attack. The recruited students are being displayed on the screen. Their leaders are believed to be Ein Dixon and Heather McFord. Both students are currently on the run. There also seem to be other species of creatures in the organisation. A witness reported creatures capable of magic, and evidence of a possible demon and strange blue flames were found at the scene. There were 20 students found dead and over 80 people injured. Police have yet to identify the victims and attackers found at the scene."
"The police also believe they have found the deceased body of a shapeshifter. They used a phone found on the body of the shapeshifter to track and arrest another shapeshifter. These shapeshifters kidnapped and held Student Aisha. The alive shapeshifter was found holding her hostage. She had been there for at least a couple of days. Aisha was secured and safely brought to a hospital where she was briefly questioned. The arrested shapeshifter is currently being questioned by werewolf task forces."
"All schools will be closed indefinitely until every student is interviewed. This is to ensure that there are no more attacks from Chaos Order in our schools and that there are no more shapeshifter imposters. That is all. Mary Juana signing off."
"So that's why Aisha seemed off on two separate occasions. Because she was replaced not once but twice." Ryder commented.
"That's that. Witches are not to be trusted. Go back and watch that witch." Tyler ordered.
Ryder went back to the room, "Can you do anything?"
"Yes. I think might know a potion that might do the trick."
"Great then all you have to do is—"
"First. I need coffee. My brain needs to be awake to think of the potion and all the ingredients."
"Okay." Ryder obediently went to make coffee and tell the others that there was a way.
"You lying snake." A voice insulted Jinx. It was a male voice.
"Ah!"
"What the hell you screaming for?" He asked.
"A ghost?" Jinx examined the room.
"Sure I'm the ghost of Christmas past coming to fix your wrong ways." He revealed himself to her.
"Why are you even here?" Jinx was confused. There were no ghosts at the Rhodes mansion before.
"None ya business."
"Whatever. You called me a "Lying Snake" earlier?" She asked.
"Would you prefer Old Hag?"
'That nickname pisses me off.' Jinx frowned, "I am a young woman"
"Whatever you say, Hag."
Jinx glared at him."You're a rude little ghost, aren't you?"
"At least I ain't giving false hope to a worried werewolf boy." He smirked.
"How do you even know he cares? That brat cares about no one. Especially not girls. If he did he would have him wrapped around my little finger. I mean look at me." She posed.
He looked her up and down then said, "Old Hags aren't attractive."
"Why you—"
"Besides... We both know you can't do anything to help her." He looked her in the eyes.
"The Wiggenweld Potion has worked on every human I've ever made it for. I am a very skilled and experienced witch."
"And we both know that she isn't your average human."
Jinx's pupils shrunk.
"Well, what do I know? I'm just some "ghost" after all. I'm sure the 500-year-old hag knows more."
"500 is quite young for a witch! Besides that just means I have a lot of experience."
"Right. But you're still stupid. Don't you want to know why I a "random ghost" knows that you're exactly 598 years old?"
Jinx stood there with her eyes wide.
Just then Ryder entered the room. "What's up Jinx?"
"Nothing." She laughed awkwardly.
"Good, keep me a secret. Have fun leading the brats on a wild goose chase for a potion that won't work! Oh! Before I go... Take your nasty magic tracking bracelet off my lady. And if anything happens to Kellian I will have a lot of fun breaking you. So don't try anything funny. I have eyes and ears all over this room. Perverted old hag." He warned, poking her cheek before disappearing.
Jinx held her composure and pretended nothing happened.
Jinx began removing the bracelet and ring from Kellian's hand. "I have thought of something that might— Ouch!"
"Huh?"
"Her ring hurt me! Is it a thorns enchantment? No, it felt more like fire." Jinx was unable to remove the ring.
"Focus! We can talk about the ring later! You found a way to help her?"
"Ah, yes. The Wiggenweld Potion. It will heal her physical injuries, replenish her stamina and it's an antidote to sleeping spells. And it'll be easy to make since it's a beginner potion!" Jinx explained.
"Then go make the potion."
"Well, you see I don't have any of the ingredients needed. So you and your friends will need to do it for me!" She smiled.
She gave Ryder three notes.
For Ryder:
Collect the following;
1. Moly
2. Dittany
4. One pint of Horklump juice
5. Boom Berries
6. Salamander blood
For Leo:
Collect the following;
1. Flubberworm Mucus
2. At least 7 Chizpurfle fangs
3. Billywig sting slime
4. Sloth brain mucus
5. Unicorn horn
For Dexter:
Collect the following;
1. Wiggentree bark
2. A sprig of mint
3. Mandrakes
4. Honeywater
5. Moondew drops
6. At least 10 Lionfish spines
"Why can't you get these yourself?" He frowned.
"I thought you wanted to help her? This is the quickest way to do so. Or do you not care about her safety?" Jinx smirked. 'Reveal your true colours. You don't actually care about that brat do you?'
"Fine..."
Jinx's eye twitched. "That's strange. You usually put up more of a fight. You're never this obedient."
"...I want to save her. I'm going to take responsibility and save her. After all, I am part if the reason she ended up like this."
"Ha. You're making me a bit jealous. Haha." She said through gritted teeth.
"Okay? And? That's your business. Not mine." Ryder left the room and went downstairs to show everyone the notes.
